I showed up to a locked storage yard with no idea how to get in. I luckily encountered someone leaving the yard who opened the gate. I had no instructions on which truck was mine, where the keys were, or what the procedure was for fueling the truck. I rented a dolly and it wasn't in the truck. I had to go the the uhaul store and pay to rent one. When I returned the truck I got charged for leaving it with low fuel. It had low fuel when I got it and I had no instructions on fueling it. This has been a bad experience and I will be renting from one of your competitors next time.

Scheduled to pick up at 8 am. Found compound locked, business not open. Phoned contact Steven, he was very helpful and provided access to pick up truck. Moving blankets were not available at this site, I was required to drive to Blackfoot to get blankets. Overall, employees were helpful and found me a truck on a busy weekend. Thank you!

Let the customer know when they reserve an enclosed trailer that you won't get and enclosed trailer unless there is one available..We got a call the day before moving and they said they didn't have what we reserved, but they had an open trailer..It rained all over our things..Not impressed!! The man named Steve was great where we picked the trailer up from at 35 Technology way SE Calgary.

Hi, Upon emailing the company multiple times to try and receive some assistance regarding my issue, I received no response and I'm hoping this review can be responded to. I’m emailing in regards to my Uhaul moving experience on Sunday April 29th. I had ordered a Uhaul from 8am to 4pm on that Sunday form the Kensington Auto location to move our contents. Upon viewing the emails from uhaul days earlier, I realized that the pickup location had actually changed to the SE location at 35 Technology Way SE which is considerably further from where we were moving. Given the additional distance, as well as the fact that no operators were able to help initiate the pickup on the day of (operators weren’t available and person’s number that I was given was busy as they were moving for ComicCon), I ended up bringing the Uhaul back to the location ~1.5 hrs late. As a result I was charged double for the day rate on the truck. I don’t see how this is fair as the location was changed to somewhere half an hour out of the way, as well, I spent 45 minutes just trying to pick up the truck as no one was available for assistance on the multiple phone numbers I was given. I am hoping I can get some kind of refund for the poor services I received. Please respond at your earliest convenience. Thanks,

Wasn't told the truck would be at a different location from where I called in to book it. No one told me it was a self serve location. No information was given about steps needing to be taken to pick up the truck. Once I found out about the steps I was unable to properly take them as my account and order was set up incorrectly from the uhaul end. The only reason I managed to pick up a truck at all was because of a very helpful maintenance guy.

It seemed like the windshield was going to fall out - making a lot of wind noise. Called call center to book a 26' van - made arrangements to pick it up at the Calgary Blackfoot Depot - got there waited in line to be to told pick up was at a different depot in Calgary - check your text, we were told. Sure enough text said different depot. I checked and double checked with the call center rep and was assured pick up would be at Blackfoot (anyways) - I would recommend that it be told to "always check your texts, e-mails, etc as pick up/drop off can change at any time.

This place was awesome. They called before pick-up time and had everything set up and ready for when I got there....no hassle and nothing to do, just get in and drive off. And drop-off was just as easy. Thanks for making our move hassle-free!

Double charged. DO NOT ANSWER OR RETURN MESSAGES. I was over-charged roughly $280 When I call U-Haul general number, I am on hold for 30 minutes.

Ordered a 15 at one location. The representitive said it wasnt a problem. Next day (moving day) I get a notification saying a 20 has been booked and the location was changed. Went to that location, and had to wait 40 minutes for someone to show up. System were then down so they couldnt sign the truck out to us and had to do it over the phone. Got overcharged, and then I get a text notification saying the dropoff location changed to across the city which we didnt agree to. Very bad experience. Won't be renting again. Hopefully the service gets better in the future for your customers. That being said, the truck was quite clean and opperated well.
