We reserved a truck in our home town. Instead we had to drive 45 minutes each way to pick the truck up in another town. Called and would not transfer the truck to our original location. Basically tough luck. Would not recommend or use U haul again. Terrible customer service

My only issue to your Mobile App doesn't work at all. I have tried twice in the last year to pu at this location on the weekend. Everytime I have cancel or drive to Santa Rosa.

My reservation was from 8am-4pm. No one showed up until 8:45am for me to pick up. No one told me I had to refill the truck with gas. Because he was nearly an hour late, I missed some of my elevator time to move out. Then had to race back to deliver the truck by 4pm. I returned it on time and then this place calls me and tells me I should have gas in the truck. Charged me $42. I didn't have time! The guy didn't show up until 8:45! I had to call their answering service to travk him down to get him to come in. Shady operation and I am really frustrated they charged me for gas and would like a refund of the $42. And the truck only had 3/4 of tank of gas when I got in, he charges me for a full tank.

Tell a customer that the trailer they are picking up has broken lights or fix the trailer brake lights before giving to a customer! I called in to inquire if a 6' x 12' foot trailer was in inventory. Yes. So I drove an hour pickup the trailer before learning the right rear brake light didn't work!

Everyone was pleasant, but Victor was especially kind and considerate beyond expectation. Considering this Uhaul location is also a repair and tow truck center, all were not representative of public service skills, but Victor, as mentioned, was a pleasure to do business with. 5 stars for Victor.

Location was closed at 4:35pm in Friday when I returned the truck though hours were listed as until 5. Just used the key drop box.

After the run-around and inaccurate information given to me by the remote rental agent who would have sent me to Kelseyville for a truck that was already rented, the attitude might have been more, "Thank you for choosing us", instead of, "You're lucky to get a truck".

Tires were bald and trailer was unfit to drive. Dealer said he could do nothing for me, except cancel the contract. I took trailer to my home and called U-Haul roadside assistance, which took 5 hours to arrive. I have been a frequent U-Haul customer. I was headed to LA, 6 hours away, so there is nothing I could do but wait for the repair. This is the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had. I will look elsewhere next time.

I picked up the truck on a Sunday after pre-aranging to do so when the agent was closed. There was a mileage discrepancy and no one to talk to however the agent settled to my satisfaction.

Reserved a truck for self check in. The keys were not in the lock box and the shop was closed. I found the owner around back after 30 minutes of looking for keys. The owner of the shop told me he was closed and waved me off, I kept trying to get his attention, annoyed he finally came to the door. After I explained my situation he told me he didn't have any keys for me. Long story short he found the keys hanging on his key rack after 20 minutes of calling uhaul and him telling me he didn't have a truck or keys for me (the truck was out in the lot and already checked into me via online). I also had reserved 3 packs of moving blankets and of course those were not in the truck so even if I had gotten the key via self serve lock box like I was supposed to I still would have had to inquire the shop owner for blankets. Thank goodness he was there since his shop was closed (this was before business hours) as the point of the self check in is to get the truck early before some of the shops even open. This whole ordeal delayed me over an hour, the whole point of my self early check in was to get an early start.


we had reserved a U-Haul at another location, and U-Haul came and confiscated it even though it was reserved, so we had to drive to another location, Calistoga, to get a different truck which fortunately they had.

We were not quite satisfied with our experience. We reserved out truck for healdsburg, as we are moving from there to Santa rosa. Calistoga is completely out of the way. When I called today, I got told that I was notified of the change, so I shouldn't complain. Uhm.. well, I got notified on Friday early afternoon (the day before) at which point it was too late to cancel, as we had taken time out of our work schedules and had asked friends to take time our of their day/plans to help us move, so that we can be out of our place. A truck could have easily been transported to healdsburg or a convenient location along the healdsburg/santa rosa route. Also, we would've accepted a 15' truck instead of a 20'. When we returned the rental, there were atleast 10 trucks just sitting there. Just not a great experience, as we had to spend more money and time on this than it should've been at our preferred location. It's not like we have a shit ton of $$ lying around.
