I received a collection notice from a debt collection company for $77.50 because of a Golden Gate Bridge toll of $7.50 that I was charged for on 8/13/16 when I used your U-Haul truck. I never received a notice from your company that I needed to pay the bridge toll and I never received an invoice from the Golden Gate Bridge District because they didn't have my correct address. I would like to know your policy on bridge tolls so I can prevent this from happening again. It was not pleasant having to pay 10 times the amount of one toll crossing.

made reservation at Calistoga Towing ( 1/4 mi from my home )Monday 12/5/16, they must not have entered it into your system. When I arrived Friday 12/9 to pick up 2 trucks they had 0. Customer care proceeded to find 1 truck in Petaluma (66Mi round trip) and 1 truck in Novato( 85 mi. round trip) this blunder got me behind on my project by over 3 hours....not good!!

The storage unit on the truck was filthy when given to me. I used the truck to move a mattress and boxspring and it ended up getting dirty due to the trucks condition.

The main problem we had was that we had to travel from the town of Sonoma CA, where we live, to Calistoga CA to pick up our vehicle and drive it to load at a u-haul storage facility in Petaluma to move things to Fort Bragg Ca. This was 45 minutes each way plus the use of our vehicle to get there and back again. We were given credits for some of this inconvenience and extra days we couldn't use but we were treated very well by everyone and we did get an accommodation of an extra day for our next scheduled contract for November 4th thanks to Heidi in customer service. We appreciate that!

Do not rent out vehicles online that are not actually available. When I reserved a 15' truck it was because I needed a 15' truck. I did not want a 10' truck that required me to male multiple trips.

well we had been re-directed to drop off in Santa Rosa very late in the process and in fact i saw the message after we dropped off in Calistoga. Dropping off in Santa Rosa would have been very hard for us, it's a long drive over a twisty road from Calistoga to Santa Rosa. There was plenty of room to drop off in calistoga so there was really no reason to not be able to drop off there. Your reservation system confirms all of the original data and then you change it, that seems like a poor system. This even was a problem for pick up, The original pick up was in Copperoplis only to find out i had to pick up in Angles Camp, another 30 minutes further.

Site was fine ... it was your business that stunk. Don't mislead and deceive customers into thinking a particular truck is available at a specific location via your website and then call them the day before and say they have to go somewhere else to obtain it. You guys need more competition!

I received two of dirty moving blankets, although he didn't charge me for them, they were all dirty and had mud all over them. I could not use them. I made the reservation a week in advance and the day before Uhaul called me and said I would need to go to Santa Rosa instead. I called back and they fixed it.



I returned the truck I rented 30 minutes past the agreed return time. I had called the location well in advance to let them know. Nonetheless I was charged an entire additional day's rental. And, adding insult to injury, the personnel at the location was rude about the issue. I will not return.

Shop employee was late opening the shop, was not knowledgeable about U-Haul policies and so caused much unnecessary stress. He caused a lot of confusion over rates and drop off locations.

They were 40 minutes late to open, which set my whole day back. I had a handful of people on a tight schedule and we were very late starting. I was offered a 50$ credit which was never applied. Then my drop off was changed to a location 30 minutes away and I got charged for a mile overage. Also, the truck was dirty with Gatorade bottles, broken glass and leaves from previous use which I had to clean out. I will be following up with a phone call. I am livid.



the guy barely spoke english. The fraduently charged me for clean up. I swept the truck out personally. This is bull! i am charging back the credit card . $900 for the truck and they charge me $20 fraudulently when i drop off in Calistoga.



Sometimes when we call them directly they say there are no trucks available, but if I call uhaull there will be one or two available to rent.

The equipment was clean. It was on a corner and a bit confusing on access. I just took the truck to where the other trucks were but the access to building was around the corner. David was helpful.

Staff was rude, barely spoke English. Couldn't use the Internet to access my reservation. Overall acted like they were doing me a favor by renting me a truck. NEVER EVER AGAIN will I use this place or recommend to anyone. They shouldn't even have a Uhaul franchise!!!!!

In and Out Mileage was falsified by Clerk (Was overcharged by some 12 extra miles) Very slow in preparing initial paperwork; it was a good half hour before we took possession of our vehicle.



It was frustrating that I had to wait so long for the system to work. The gentleman was very kind, but had to call directly to get the order processed.



The truck was NOT clean - inside, outside nor in the cab. It took 30 - 45 minutes to sweep and clean the inside of the truck container before it could be loaded. The inside of the cab need to be wiped down.
