It's just not a great part of town, not much you can do about it. I also rented an appliance dolly that was not given to me.

The drop off location texted to me (1975 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH) was in a very unsafe neighborhood and did not have an office and we could not find the "orange drop box" for the keys. We were on the phone for over 30 mins to get direction and your attendant hung up on us! I will never rent from you again. We left the truck there and dropped the keys off at another location with "Jagger" who was excellent and helpful. You need to close the Cleveland Ave drop location - it is not safe.

We did not receive any receipts upon drop off. The employee did not bother to look if we were even dropping off any uhaul: he didn’t check if we had an existing reservation and he did not look outside to see where we parked it. He said he would “take care of it later” and seemed not to care that we were there. I ended up doing online drop off for some kind of insurance to make sure that the trailer would be okay and we would not be liable. I contacted customer service so I could send a set of pictures about the trailer and where it was dropped off in order to ensure that we would not have issues. I would not recommend dropping off any trailers here. Any one could drive by with a truck and attach it and drive away and no one would notice, and it would end up being your fault because no one would say they saw you drop it off.

We arrived mid-morning on a Sunday. Felt rather uncomfortable with groups of people just hanging out in parking lot. Store entrance was hard to identify since many building glass panes were taped up. UHaul rep was pleasant and thorough. Upon leaving the store, was approached for $ as I entered my car. Did not feel comfortable staying in lot longer than necessary.

It was a horrible experience. Wrong information on account. I told them it was the wrong information and still nothing was done. Due to wrong information could not get a time to drop off truck through online. I have always had a uhaul for 24 hours and the time frame was 4 hours. Had a horrible time getting anything together and nothing was corrected. I will say the Uhaul customer representative was nice, empathetic, and helped me complete a return and stayed on the phone with me as it needed to be checked multiple times even with her help. Still nothing was completed though.

There needs to be another trained uhaul staff member who can be at this location earlier. If I as a paying customer am told that I can pick up a vehicle at 9am I'd expect the trained staff member to be present at that time. Besides that the customer service issues through uhaul itself warranted seven separate calls in total for the reservation alone though t most of the staff was pleasant and even the independent renter was as well even helpful with mileage concerns. But with the stress of moving alone including the late pickup reservation issues payment issues the whole experience was way more stressful than was needed.

I arrive at the store (Dollar Plus) and the cashier seems confused that I'm there to pick up a trailer. Finally after some deliberation he makes a phone call and has me talk to another person on the phone to give them my personal information regarding my truck and license. To be frank, I don't even know who was on the phone or who I was talking to. At the end of the conversation, the cashier then tells me I'm done and I can get the trailer. He offers no help. I have to hook up the trailer by myself. Then I check the lights and find out the right blinker is burnt out. I couldn't even check the brake lights because I'm by myself. I call it a loss (for if I get a ticket) because I need the uhaul. Additionally it is parked inches away from another SUV. Luckily I was able to get it out of the spot without hitting the SUV. When I get the trailer home and open the door, It is dirty and full of leaves. I have to clean it out before even packing my stuff. THIS IS A HORRIBLE RENTAL LOCATION, I CAN'T BELIEVE CORPORATE UHAUL HAS ALLOWED THEM TO STAY OPEN FOR THIS LONG.

There was a wiring issue that killed my battery. It's a design issue where running light wiring is exposed. Please look into it. This issue left me stranded. The mechanic who gave roadside service diagnosed the problem and got me running so I could drive at night operating my hazards and not get pulled over. He also mentioned this issue will burn out alternators and that I should have mine checked. I realize these things happen, but am nonetheless very frustrated and disappointed. I also realize that I will likely never see fair compensation for the damage this issue caused me, but PLEASE service this trailer so that the next customer won't re-live my experience. On the upshot, the vendors did a splendid job issuing the agreement.

basically the only issue I had is while I was filling out the paperwork and paying to rent the U-Haul there was employees in the store at that location smoking cigarettes in the building I know that is not a U-Haul store it's the one with the contract through you but that was my problem with that place and I will not recommend anyone go back there because of such problem other than that the service was great

Staff were rude, truck had less than the required return amount of gas to begin with, Back of the truck was dirty, staff did not want to interact with me, no return survey was given as listed on the key, horrible experience, would not recommend this location to even my worst enemy.

I went 35 miles, I put two gallons in before i came back and the gauge was on a quarter, yet they still charged me 47 dollars for 4 gallons of gas.

The location itself is a rough area of town, but the rental logistics worked well, and the store owner was very helpful. The trailer itself was new, very clean, can worked really well. Best trailer we ever rented.

1). The location was in sketchy area/neighborhood. Locations that are used to distribute units should be screened for security/safety. 2). wiring harness for trailer lights had splices and been wrapped in a bundle with electrical tape. The lights DID work without issue though, but as an electrician by trade, I feel this was not a professional repair. Again the unit DID do the task expected.
