My customer service rep (Hosie Johnson) at Urban Self Storage Denver (1709 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO) made the experience and entire transaction extremely frustrating. His behavior was disappointing and entirely uncalled for. I reserved a 17' for my move on Saturday but was told they only had 15' on site. I hadn't been informed of this and was worried I might have to make multiple trips. He immediately got sarcastic with me, displayed zero empathy, and was overall rude and a very poor representative of what a helpful customer service rep should be. He portrayed the Uhaul brand as impatient and condescending, unwilling to actually address how frustrated I was that I hadn't been informed of this ahead of time even though the change had been made two days earlier. He dismissed my grievances and was utterly disrespectful, only becoming worried and apologetic when I spoke calmly to his manager on the phone. He apologized twice, letting me know he needed to keep working there, but ultimately never affirmed my right to feel annoyed and his poor way of having handled it. I'm disappointed with Uhaul and will move my business over to Budget from now on. Hosie ought to find a profession that isn't in customer service, ideally one where he doesn't need to interact with any human being at any point throughout the day. I expect to be contacted about this bad experience and for it to be taken care of.

I do so much business with Uhaul, I never expected such a mess in picking up a truck that I was reminded 3 times the day before to do, and having such nasty employees try to make me wait... even though there was a truck there, and I had prepaid for it. Thanks to corporate Customer Service and Trafficking, it did finally get resolved and the walk-in customer, who had a credit card that declined twice, was finally told that the truck was actually scheduled for me. I think that your corporate operation at Mile High is above standard, and they should be the example of the franchise holders in the Denver area. This operation is just a joke, and the employees should be fired based on just how nasty they were in a situation that they knew was wrong. I really believe that Uhaul should give me some type of compensation, like and extra month of storage or something for all the crap I had to deal with on Monday morning.

The staff who checked me in was so friendly! Two thumbs up. One note, the left review mirror was cracked -- this made it a bit difficult to drive the van (which was already difficult as I rarely drive a vehicle so large). If possible, I'd recommend fixing that asap!

The only complaint I had was that I schedule to pick up a truck at 7:00am on Saturday, February 4th and when I got there right at 7, no one was there. I waited till around 7:15 and someone finally showed up.. no apology, hardly a "hello". It was really awkward, like it was MY fault somehow. Rest of the process was fine, just didn't start off very well.
