The employees who placed the trailer on the hitch of my truck did not attach it firmly. When driving the disabled van onto the trailer, it jumped the hitch. The worst was the passenger side tire on the trailer was flat. This could have resulted in a serious accident. When I complained about this, one of the office staff said they check those tires daily. I was even asked if I had driven over a nail. Faulting the customer isn't acceptable customer service. Based upon the manner in which I first acquired the trailer I question the checking of the trailer. The trailer number I was first assigned to wasn't even on the premises. Then I was given the defective one. When Steve was contacted I was told I would get a credit of $10. I was then told this was policy by the same office employee. A $10 credit for a possible disastrous outcome?

I like it very much is genuine people. H r lord me a lot and explained everything. Tiger speaks spanish.

I rented a Uhaul pickup truck from 4444 W Colfax Ave. to be picked up at 10am. It took the "owner" 30 mins to process the transaction due to the fact i was unable to get the pickup because they "didn't have the keys." I was set up with a 15' ft truck and told I would get the same rate as the pickup truck ($19.95/day). There was no walk through of the vehicle done prior, or an explanation of gas per my usual Uhaul experiences. When I came to return the Uhaul, the "owner" was gone, and nobody knew anything. The Jonniautomotive people took the keys, I gave them my contact info (as I was told I would be reimbursed for the insurance since they messed up), and I left. Keep in mind I returned the vehicle at 1:30pm Saturday afternoon. I never heard back from Tiger (the "owner"), so I called at 5PM Saturday evening asking why the return had not been processed. He said, "they got busy and he would have it done in an hour or so". 8PM, closing time, rolls around. Still no email of the return process. At this point I am getting nervous considering nobody inspected the vehicle in front of me prior nor upon my return since Tiger was no where to be found. I assume this to be UHaul protocol since it has been done every other time I have used Uhaul. Sunday morning I called and left him a voicemail at 8 AM asking why it was not processed the day of my return, let alone immediately when he returned from wherever he was. I never got a called back or received an email that it was processed. I called again at 2 Pm, 5PM, and 8PM. No answer. I called immediately after from a different number, and as suspected he had been screening my calls. By the sound in his voice it was clear he had completely forgotten about me. This may have something to do with the huge bag of weed and pipe sitting on the coffee table in the "waiting area". When he finally answered he tried to explain that, "yesterday was chaoitic because it was his wife's birthday," which was just the cherry on top of all of the other unprofessionalism I experienced in this transaction-if you can even call it that. Also, I hope you like cigarette smoke because he smokes a cigarette while he's talking to you, which is lovely for those of us who have smoke enduced asthma. During this call at 7:45 PM, he told me he, "was doing it right now and would send me a text." 9:55 rolls text, no email. I call at 10PM and I am AGAIN told hes "doing it right now." He had the nerve to ask me if I would leave a good review if he kept his word and gave me the same rate as the pickup with credited gas since the gas was way more in the 15' truck. I declined. I am still waiting for the text saying my return was processed over 32 hours since I returned it, which is completely unacceptable. Uhaul should NOT be associated with this man. I urge you to read his other reviews as well. I finally received an email at 11:15PM and was charged $87.59 when quoted to pay a fraction what I would've paid for had I received the pickup. I

Tiger was very acomadating, this was the best uhaul experience I've ever had. This is the only Uhaul dealer I'm gonna go to from now on. Jonnimotive uhaul got my five stars for sure.

Great experience i didnt think it was going to be this easy and simple to rent and return Uhaul trucks. Everything was basically done for me. All i had to do was make a reservation, and be there on time.

Difficult to enter and exit for an inexperienced truck driver. Driveway shared with a garage with sharp turn unto residential street lined with parked cars.

Great place great genuine people, the UHaul owner is on point but those mechanics need to get their life's together, they shouldn't be bothering people during their rentals.

I cannot believe U-Haul is even affiliated with this place. We reserved a 15' and they gave us a 10' truck. If only that was the worst of our problems. We arrived at 0945 for a 1000 reservation. The entire premise was gated and locked and no one was there. I called and apparently spoke to the owner who was at his house saying his employee was suppose to be there 4 hours ago and he will call him. After not hearing from him for 10 minutes, I called back. He said he was on his way to the shop to take care of me personally and would be there in 10 minutes. After waiting until 1030, I called U-Haul customer service to try to get this dealt with. After explaining my situation the girl I spoke to said she would hopefully be able to help me get a truck from somewhere else in the area. I was transferred to a guy and had to explain my entire situation again. After being put on hold, he stated there were no available trucks in the area, but they would reimburse me $50 to my account for the inconvenience (which never came), and the owner would be at the shop in 10 to 15 minutes, the same thing the owner told me a half hour ago. The owner finally shows up at 1045 and takes me into his "office" which was filled with garbage and cigarette smoke from the "business meeting" the night before. The owner then has no idea how to access HIS OWN U-HAUL ACCOUNT. We spent 5 minutes awkwardly waiting while he kept trying to call his employee. He finally contacted who I believe to be a regional manager who I had to speak with over the phone to do a phone contract. It's now 1100 and I still don't have a truck, and the guy I spoke to on the phone tries telling me that I have to have the truck back by 3pm because someone else needs it. I had a five hour rental, but I'm supposed to forfeit my time because of the incompetence of Jonnimotors? We were finally in our reserved truck at 1105. When we returned the truck on time, the scumbag employee that didn't show up that morning was there to help us out albeit while smoking a cigarette in our faces the entire time. He was very unapologetic and tried to distance himself from events of the morning. The total cost he charged was $20 more than the quote from the contract and his answer was "environmental costs, stuff like that". After poorly concluding business with us, he offered us to come back any time for a discount on the mileage rate. THANKS! If U-Haul is still affiliated with Jonnimotors when we move again in February, we will be looking elsewhere for a rental truck.

The person completing the return very clearly did not understand the process. He had to call someone to ask how the process worked. We were shocked when he did not inspect the vehicle or ask for any further paperwork. We dropped the truck off to him and gave him the keys. We were very apprehensive about the situations, but seeing the UHaul sign on the building and seeing the after hours return information, we decided to proceed. He assured us everything would be fine and no further charges would be made. We were very careful to clean the truck thoroughly prior to returning the vehicle, however we were charged $50 for a cleaning fee. I find this unacceptable. I do not understand how I can be held accountable for a cleaning fee when the person accepting the vehicle did not inspect the vehicle upon return. I will be contacting customer service in an effort to be reimbursed for this fee.

We waited for an hour until the person who "knew how to do Uhaul rentals" returned from wherever he was. We were finally able to complete the rental process over the phone, but then we got in the truck and the back tire was completely flat. We had to go to a different location to get a different truck.
