My experience was awful because I was not charged the rate that was provided to me during the initial rental agreement (over the phone). I had refused to sign the contract upon the return of the vehicle because I needed to speak to the manager to resolve my issue. (At the time of the visit at the store, I had the customer service rep on the phone to advocate for me by telling the in-store rep that " the price he charged me was not the price they quoted to me". I refused to sign the contract until speaking with a manager and I was told by the customer service rep at the front desk that he will not charge my card until the manager reached out to me. It was near closing time and I was rushed out of the store and my issue was not resolved. The next day; while waiting for the call from the manager, I realized that my Debit card was charged without my permission.

Please don’t send your customers to three different sites. Please have the rental equipment available at the site your customer expects to go to. Please do not call your customers 20 minutes before they are supposed to pick up their truck and change their entire reservation on them. Please streamline your customer service reps so they do not give your customers completely different information. I will not use uhaul again after my experience today.

Thankfully I was given a number to call and spoke with James Crews who went above and beyond to help straighten out the situation. Truck was NOT READY at pick-up time. Got to facility 40 minutes before pick-up and was told - "your truck should have been here at 9 am, but it isn't here yet". "We are only the middleman, they do this to us all the time". Not happy that truck came in after I was scheduled to pick it up. Cannot blame prior renters - they were suppose to have the truck for another 5 hours. UHAUL really screwed up. Didn't even get "sorry". Whatever happened to the guarantee that your vehicle would be ready for time?

When I arrived, they had the wrong size truck available. To make up for it, the employee working said she would give us free miles to make up for the extra driving we were doing, however when I dropped it off we were not given any discount.

Truck was not maintained well. There was no windshield water to cleanup the front glass in rain. Music system not working. No FM working. Driver side window mirror had gaps and wind was coming inside even after closed the door tightly. I had very bad experience with this vehicle.
