The uhaul didn't have the right amount of gas in it.. and no dolly that I had requested.. and it wasn't clean from previous family and the engine light was onSherri I.

Explain the fees a little better when reserving the vehicle was quoted 968 when reserving and then when I went to pick it up it was 1024.Cory P.

I normally get my truck and Uhaul goods from the location on Broadway (the owner/manager's name is French I think?), but this location had my truck size and allowed me to get it sooner. Several days before I needed the truck, I reserved it online and set it up to do a mobile pickup. I had also requested to have two utility carts. When I got to American Storage, the owner had not pushed my order through to mobile pickup and the app would not let me get the truck. It kept telling me to wait until he opened at 9am. I had someone drop me off and was on a time crunch, so I didn't have the option to go somewhere else. I called the customer service number, it took me 45 minutes to get someone to get a hold of the owner and for him to come out and give me the keys. When I asked him if the utility carts were in the truck, he was surprised. He was not aware my order had utility carts on it and he only had one. He told me he would call and speak with Tammy his regional scheduler and have the other cart taken off my order. I spoke to Tammy around 10am and she had no idea I did not get my second cart. As a result of how late he was getting me the truck, I lost the of the guys who were set to help me move and they were also on a time crunch and could not stay to fully help me load and unload the truck. I ended up having to move everything myself. The truck was also on empty when I picked it up. Tammy from the regional scheduling did call me and she was very nice. She also offered to take some of my order off for filling the truck up to 1/4 a tank and she told me she would not charge me for the carts. I also appreciate that she had a lot of empathy for my situation. I ended up being late returning my truck. I did call the customer service line and spoke to Julie. She was also very kind and told me I could have it a little bit later, just to do the after hours drop off. Normally my experiences at Uhaul are quite exceptional and it's why when I move I try to always do business with you all versus your competitors. It was just very frustrating that this experiences did not go as smoothly as it could. I am very appreciative however that your customer service team took the time to try and make the situation right. Thank you so much for being understanding and working with me.Christina V.
