We had a reservation to pick up in Boone, however there was no equipment of any kind available. U-Haul rescheduled us to pick up a day earlier in our hometown an even though they had hours they were not there, so we rescheduled to another location in town and had the same issue. We were rescheduled again to this location, and were reassured that they would be open. We arrived and they were open, however we were told the U-Haul guy doesn’t work on weekends. We asked the guy to call him, he replied he’s sleeping. We asked again, we have a reservation, so reluctantly they did. To his credit he did come in and we were on our way. I’m not sure why there is a conflict with the posted hours and the actual hours they are available but it was quite frustrating.

Attendant seemed a bit annoyed at having to deal with the return of the u-hual. It is a gas station and I was told to step out of the line several times so that he could deal with customers that came in after me. I wanted him to verify the condition of the return and where he wanted it in the parking lot and he was unwilling to do so.
