UHaul sucks in every aspect of their business plan. Hidden fees and not communicating those fees is reprehensible. You lost a customer and many more if I have anything to do with it. Stop overcharging and that will be an improvement for the next customer.

Customer service rep from pick up location did not know how to use the system, nor how to change information in the system. I was making a 1 way trip and when i got to the drop off, i was told to pay more and the deposit of $75 that i was supposed to receive back is being held due to employee error of him not changing the location, after beong told i would not be returning to the area. Now im being penilized for the company's errors.

The actual establishment was great. I do wish that the online general UHAUL site would make sure to have this establishments address and readability uploaded each time someone puts in the 22630 zipcode so that the nice man who is running the location may have more business. I waited a week to see if it will pop up in the location finder and finally it did.. This man has trucks and vehicles and supplies that he needs to get rented out. So the website programmer needs to make sure that this particular location always pops up when zip code is entered.

The customer service rep at the location was awesome! Nice, helpful, friendly. The uhaul vehicle I received had a hole in the top of the cargo cabin and other body damage that I was not made aware of. Note: it had been raining, so a little mud on floor mats was understandable. It's not the prettiest place, but the staff makes up for it in courtesy. Will definitely use and recommend this location again. Only issue I had, had nothing to do with the Front Royal location, but Uhauls reservation/return system. My rep keyed in a return location on Port Royal Rd in Springfield VA. I got e-mail and text messages to return tge vehicle to Largo/Landiver MD area. Took 30 mins to get a Cust Service Rep to answer the 24/7 1-800 number to straighten that issue out. And an additional 30 mins for her to find the Port Royal Rd location in the system.

I'm not happy about the whole situation. I made a reservation to pick in Luray. Day prior Luray location called and said they were closed on Saturday and they would find me a a truck nearby. How was i able to make a reservation if location was going to be closed? Seems like operator just decided to close up on his own. So I was charged with extra mileage which need to be refunded. Secondly, when I made the reservation from Luray to Martinsburg, I was offered a discount if I returned the truck to Winchester. That didn't happen either. I should not have been charged the full price of $72 nor for the extra mileage. Total I was charged of $121.62 should have been closer to $70.

When I arrived the lot was neat and orderly. The trucks all appeared clean and were organized so as to make getting them in and out easy, from my perspective. The representative that I dealt with was friendly, efficient and showed concern for what I needed to complete my task. He made a recommendation for the type of truck I should use, (Which was spot on correct), and the truck was ready to go when I got there. The contract was explained clearly and, when I left, I completely understood what all of the fees, charges and insurance would cost. The truck drove well, ran great, and was as clean as a brand new one. I will definitely be recommending this location to everyone I know, who needs a truck in the future. Thank you for making this the easiest rental experience that I have ever had!!!

I was charged for gas, apparently, even though I dropped off the truck with the gas level as the same as when I picked it up; and no one was there to receive the truck (the office is always closed). I think there are additional charges, too, which I do not understand.

the trucks and service are fine. The office and building stinks of smoke. It is fowl. In this day and age it is unacceptable that such a place of business still exists! My wife was unable to go into the office the stink was so bad. I will still use UHaul but not at this location.

The location had no clear entrance. The guest reception area was very unprofessional. The gentleman was friendly but did not even question if I knew what I was doing, didn’t show me anything or pull the vehicle out of its very narrow parking spot. He did make sure to have me circle and point out prior damaged spots.
