Give them the truck they ordered. Ordered largest and received the 29 dollar which wouldn't start to carry our possesions. Had to call all our friends to get our stuff too our new home. A bad experience.

I was surprised to get a vehicle with only a partial tank. However, they provide you a guide on how many gallons to use if needed. I found that it was very accurate. Starting with a full tank would be simpler but this is a good solution.

The only thing that was very disappointing is that it's really not $19.95. By the time they hit you for mileage, and insurance your $60 in then just to go a few miles we went about 21 it cost us another 25 in gas. therefor the 1995 in reality is 85 to $90 just to rent a single bedroom U-Haul two bring some stuff to a Fairground gir a day booth. this in my estimation is not a deal. I would have been better off to go to the local trailer rental and rent a trailer for $15 for the day, no mileage no gas no insurance. Wont be using U-Haul again for my short-term needs

How does a 10' van going 45 mi add up to 122.00? 45mi x 50cents equals 25.00 van rental 19.95 ins. 12.00 I pay gas this all totals. 56.00 where is the rest?

I had a CONFIRMENED reservation at one location for 8 am waited 45 min there I was sent to another location across town waited 1hr there didn't get what was reserved called about there $50 guarantee because I didn't get what was reserved and confirmed their guarantee on there web site is BS. If someone who has a confirmed reservation at one site and is made to go 10 miles away and gets something they didn't reserve and confirmed after waiting a total of 1 hour 45min going to two different locations well there guarantee is as worthless as the web page they put out. Please feel free to call about my experience. I deserve to get their guarantee and that is for sure. This is only fair oh yea because incompetence and lies I had to pay two workers their wages for sitting around waiting for my return I say is this fair.Bill Waldon 541-226-2963

This issue has nothing to do with the South 40 store- unfortunately, it is Uhaul directly. We rented a truck on a Saturday morning in Grants Pass and returned it to eurne Saturday night. Tuesday we get a call from Insurance that the truck was in a hit and run. Upon researching this with the GP and Eugene stores, we found that the GP store gave my dad a different truck than they had on the paperwork, but they had the original truck on the lot unharmed. The Eugene location confirmed the actual truck he was given was on the lot unharmed. The police officer who took the report on the hit and run transposed a number and my dad was unlucky enough to be the renter of the wrong numbered truck. We were assured it was taken care of and everything was fine. 2 weeks later we went to rent a truck from south 40 to finish the move. We then found out they had filed a claim with repwest and put an alert on the account and we couldn't rent. Repwest was only available mon-fri. We spent over an hour and a half on the phone with uhaul customer service after South 40 refused to rent to me because I was in the same party as my dad. Nobody could do anything even though they all agreed my dad was the victim and he was not at fault, but there was nothing to be done until Monday. Even after they assured us through the course of 5 phone calls previous that all was fine. After multiple calls, someone finally convinced south 40 to rent to us. We were told that we would have a certain number of days free- so while the price was higher than what was quoted online, we had movers waiting and charging $100 an hour while we sorted out Uhauls mess. End result of the rental under my name is that they charged me for the extra days they advised us multiple times would not be charged. After another several hours on the phone I got a partial refund. I called on this situation many many times, and every rep talked to me. They were having a claim reviewed by management but needed to wait for RepWest to review the situation more. Rep West is impossible to get in touch with. While they also agree my dad was not at fault, they are not fixing it. I've called for an update, and not only can I not reach who I need to, but other reps won't talk about the claim, the rep for the case does not respond to messages or emails, -and the supervisor does not call back. It's been two months almost, and so I called Uhaul to get an update on the claim with Uhaul. Suddenly, there is a privacy policy and they will not talk to me. I gave them my rental number, and asked to speak to a manager. I was refused by Dominick. I called back and spoke to Michael- on my account. He also refused to let me speak to a manager or supervisor. When I asked him if he was refusing to allow me to speak to a manager, he said I could in regards to my account if I was unhappy with my account and not mybdads. I am, so he grilled me about why I was unhappy. I told him only in reference to my rental, and he told me

during the use the leaked and got a bed and a box of pillows and other items wet. The trailer also had a flat tire. This is not a refection on the location just an equipment malfunction.
