Have the vehicle ready for the customer, the wait time to get it was too long. Had registered on line for a quick pick up but that did not happen. Apologized but it cuts into the time you have for the rental.

I was promised pick up from a location near my house and last minute, had to travel 41 miles in way in the opposite direction to pick up the equipment. A big inconvenience cost and time wise. I scheduled 2 plus weeks In advance. Moving is stressful enough without complications last minute. Customer service (Darrius Somebody) was Rude over talked me and Hung up on me. Not happy.

When I called to make a reservation and we came to pick it up I specifically asked that I need to move 16 foot stuff . Will this fit in this truck the guy told me yes So my husband askeyhim again saying that this doesn’t look like a long enough truck. The guy said that yes it will fit the 16 foot stuff. When we went to pick up on Sunday the 16 foot stuff and we put it in truck it was hanging out of the truck about a foot and a bit. So we could not move what we needed with truck. We returned it on Sunday how we supposed too. Now we paid for truck we couldn’t even use. Very mad that we waisted money and time We still need to move the our stuff and need them to give us the right truck for no charge. This is unacceptable.

Was told that pretrip damage was not noted by pickup location. That was a bummer for me since I drove so carefully for 3000 plus miles.

The manager and employees here are not responsible about handling records and paperwork. The rental had less gas than their records said when I checked it out. I returned it with exactly the gas it had in it, and expressed my concerns about the paperwork. They charged me a 30 dollar fill up fee over a gallon or two of gas being different from their records, said I went a way higher mileage than I actually went, and refused to help me resolve the situation when I explained to them that I borrowed money to pay for this and that I returned it with exactly the gas I had in it. The manager claimed that it was uhaul policy to issue these fees and that there was nothing they could do about the amount or the fee itself. And that the mileage had to be correct when I know for certain that I went less than what they claimed. I was very upset at this point because there was no way I could pay what they were charging me for and the manager refused to let me speak with the employees that checked the truck out to me. He told me it was uhaul policy and told me I could make a promise to pay note, which I did not sign, but he charged me the amount they initially quoted me for, and then emailed me a receipt and promise to pay. I then called the store back and spoke to the employee that check the truck out to me, he claimed that there was nothing they could do, he didn't "think" the records were wrong, but said the best thing I could do was call corporate. I called the corporate number, who agreed and flat out said that she didn't think they should charge me that much, told me it was ridiculous, and then she called the local dealer and they told her they refused to change the fees or help me resolve the issue further. The corporate employee said that it was up to the uhaul dealers to decide to charge the fill up fee, which is the exact opposite of what the manager at the uhaul dealership said to me. The manager flat out lied to me and put the responsibility on uhaul as a company, just to get me out of the store and waste my time. He said he refused to help me because he didn't like that I got upset in the store about the situation,when I was just trying to ask them what I could do,express my concerns, and speak woth the people who started the whole process with me. The corporate employee expressed a personal opinion that she did not believe they should charge me that much over a gallon or two difference in the records, and then said she couldn't do anything about it. This little tiny ghetto uhaul dealer is handling business very unprofessionally and irresponsibly, gouging people, and putting the responsibility on uhaul as a company and making them look bad and the corporate office can't do anything to make it right with their customers. I spent an hour on the phone with corporate, just for them to tell me that the uhaul dealer wouldn't resolve the situation because they didn't personally like how I expressed my frustrations, and then the corporate representative g
