My uhaul location was changed from Charlotte Hall to Hughesville. Because Charlotte Hall opened at 8 and Hughesville at 9, I asked if I could get my truck early. The Hughesville location was very accommodating and came in early to let me get my truck so that I could meet me movers on time. Thank you so much!

I asked about windshield fluid to make sure that it. Would be applicable to where I was going. Got 400 miles into the trip and the wiper fluid froze when I needed it most. When I tried to turn vehicle in they could not find me in the system . ,also when I picked up the vehicle I was not informed about the preexisting damage and that I may get a leak inside the truck. The form they told me to sign they said was for insurance then I found out I had no insurance. Mechanically the vehicle was great!,

With the limited number of drop off locations in the area we did not have the luxury to choose. While the location hours indicated open we tried over two days to contact the facility with no luck. in addition we could not leave a message requesting a call back as the individual's voicemail was full. That said, the 800 U-Haul customer service staff were extremely professional and helpful.

I received a text confirmation to pick up at 8am. I got there at 8 and it did not open until 9. Then called the 1-800 customernservice. They said i could checkin on my own online. It was not working. After 5 or so verification codes, still nothing. I called customer sevice 4 times. The girl could not help at all. Then trouble with scanner to scan my documents. Thenrep at the office kept calling the owner. He couldnt figure it out either. Very frustrating! Then when they finally were looking for the stuff that I already paid for, such as the blankets and dollies, they said they did not have those at their location. I had already paid online in full. It was disastrous. Then I had workers that I was paying by the hour to pack my truck and I did not get back to my home until 2 hours later than I expected. I have been in that office for an hour and a half trying to get my U-Haul. So I was paying workers at my home to stand around for 2 hours. I was paying them $160. I will never use Uhaul again.

The self pick up process is terrible. There was not information online that states that the same person driving the U-Haul must hold the account information and the reservation. My husband and I spent three hours trying to rent the U-Haul because of this. In addition, we were hung up on three times when we called the 1-800 number for customer service. One of the representatives also informed us that she could not help us. After the fourth call, they canceled the first reservation but could not provide a cancellation number or email to confirm the cancellation.

Charged 11.25. For gas that was not even quarter tank less. We initially had 1/2. Came back just below that mark and was charged 11.25. It was barely off 1/2. But i bet if brought back with more we wouldnt get a credit
