I had to reschedule the truck that I rented online from Thursday to Friday. I rented it for 24 hours even though I thought I would finish with it in about 10 or 12 hours. I was unable to pick up the truck until a little after 10. When I arrived, a young man offered to help me with my reservation while a woman was busy with somebody else, but the woman butted in and for some reason said, "You realize this is due back here by 9 PM tonight don't you?" I responded that the website said it was for 24 hours. She responded angrily that they rent them for only 4 hours because they are used by college students for moving and that I couldn't have reserved it for 24 hours because the system blocked those trucks from being rented for that long during the college move-in period. I told her the system did not block it because that was how I rented it. She continued to argue with me while escalating her anger in front of other people in the room. I told her to just finish the paperwork and get the truck ready because I was not there to argue with her. As she was preparing the papers, I told her that I needed to go to the restroom and she yelled at me that it would be ready in just a second. I quickly signed the papers as she demanded, then hurried to the restroom. While I was briefly in the restroom, the woman announced to everybody who was around, that I was an ass. One of those people was my grandson. Nobody has ever abused me anywhere close to this much while I have done business in my 64 years. My grandson said that she said after the paperwork was printed that it did say that I had it for 24 hours. He also heard the rest of the conversation including her insisting that I had to return it by 9 PM. She did not apologize. She simply abused me. I bit my tongue and squelched my anger so I could move on. I will shop elsewhere in the future.

The change oil light was on when I picked up the van. It was dirty inside and out. The owner is a bit rough. She asked me to provide her with the phone numbers and a name of a relative. It felt a bit excessive.

Poor customer service! The clerk told me they were able to give me additional miles for free, but I never recieved them on my bill. Total use of U-Haul ended up costing a fortune would have been cheaper with a different company! After rental is out no body wants to help you!!

Went to pick up our truck and they didn’t have one for us . Had to drive to another location to get a truck . Both uhaul employees told us two different solutions to adjusting our bill to accommodate the mess up. Told by first employee they would drop our milage to 40 cents a mile instead of 70 cents a mile. Get to the second location to get a truck and that employee wouldn’t honor that discount that was offered by first employee. Will never use uhaul again and will pass this to others .

We tried to check on our discount but your computer system would not show if we had it or not. Supervisor was not helpful and did not know how to find our discount. Cashier did a good job trying to advocate for us and give advice. I made a new online order and found the discount that existed. Also, you should email the exact quoted price with the order number to the customer. It was a time-wasting, frustrating experience during a very stressful time of life. Also, give your customer’s locks for their things!! We spent almost $800 renting a truck from you guys and you can’t even provide the basics?? Sad. Makes me feel like you don’t value the customer, just taking advantage. Gave a low review of truck as well, due to all the gas it wasted when RPM’s jumped to 6 or 7 while going down any hill. Whether breaking, coasting, or accelerating, RPM’s jumped while going down hills and it didn’t feel safe.

I picked up from a uhaul store. It was very clean and the employees were helpful and very knowledgeable. The dropoff was extremely easy and they do a very thorough inspection at the end. The only negative was the guy who we dropped off the uhaul to, did not communicate with us what to do, so I stood outside in 90 degree heat while he inspected the vehicle. When he was almost done (about 10 min) he said most people stay in the vehicle. I would have if he would have communicated that with me.

Great experience, the representative actually booked the rental over the phone when I was just looking for pricing! Online check in made it a breeze to pick the vehicle up too. Everyone I dealt was very pleasant. The van ran/drove great. My only complaint would be the seat wasn't very comfortable driving 600 miles in one day. Overall I'd rate it as awesome

Two days before our rental we got a call from the local office. They stated to us that they did not have a truck for us at 9am on Saturday and that there was a problem with the system. After telling them we’ve already made arrangements to move this Saturday. They proceeded to tell me they didn’t have any other trucks however if I want one at 5pm I could have that one. After getting very upset and calling four other companies they “found” a truck.
