When arriving at reserved pickup location (greenwood), I was told they didn't have a truck for me, no call upfront or anything. At that time all competitor truck rental locations were closed (6pm) and we were moving the next day. U-Haul offered a truck from another location, which was 30 min drive away, which I had to take with 3 small kids who were ready for bed. At no time U-Haul offered to move the truck to the greenwood location as I had originally made a confirmed reservation at. When I arrived at the new location , they first mentioned they didn't have a truck, but eventually they were able to rent me something. I'm extremely disappointed with the poor customer service as they could have informed me before pickup time that they didn't have a truck and alternatively they could have relocated the truck from one location to another so the customer isn't the one having to go out of our way to solve your mistake.

I had originally signed up for a self pick up because I was told it would cut my wait time in half. Now way!! Horrible experience at this location! I was told to go inside and pick up the keys and the woman working there said they were inside the truck. Went to the truck scheduled for me to pick up and no keys. Went to the other 10 foot truck and found keys there. Because I was not scheduled to pick up the truck with the keys in it, I had to go back inside and change my contract. This took about 30-40 minutes and got my truck finally after about an hour! Then today I noticed on my bank account that I was charged twice!! For both the wrong truck and the truck I was originally supposed to rent. The wife and I are extremely upset about our experience and will make sure my family and friends never rent from this location. ZERO STARS.



We had to have a tire replaced 1/2 way through the trip. The person who replaced the tire told us that the missing tread had to have been missing when we picked up the trailer given the size and wear pattern.

I RESERVED a 10 foot truck and got a van. Gave my credit card number over the phone for nothing! I do not like to do such a thing, but made an exception so I could get a truck. Very unhappy with your process. Hoping my number is not stolen now. I complained, but was told corporate had to access the error. Paying in cash made all my complaining fruitless.

The truck mechanically was in horrible condition. It was hard to turn on, had a hard time putting the truck in reverse, when I drove over 40 mph the truck would start overheating, in the back was hard to open. The staff was very friendly and when I told him about all the problems he told me he'll make sure that the truck is looked into.

It was out of your control. Someone did not return the truck timely so we did not have a truck as expected at 10:30 am. They were able to secure another truck after some time waiting. This put us behind on the heavy lifting prior to my husband having to leave to go to work.

I saw a customer wait in line for well over 10 min and then get charged extra for being 10 min late. That was not her fault! My own e patience was not much better. It seems like only the manager can do anything, depute how many other employees were present. This made everything so slow because she was the only one doing anything for the customers.

It really would have been nice to have been reminded by someone at Uhaul that this location closed at 7pm. Yes, perhaps I should have known that. However, it would have been a great courtesy to remind me, since Uhaul did know I was driving the truck several hundred miles. Also, one would think that Uhaul is used to dealing with stressed and overloaded customers who are prone to missing details.

The manager at this location happen to be working past closing hours and was amazing. She was one of the most helpful people I have met in my life. The lot was clean, neat, easy to access and she was wonderful to work with. I would recommend this location to everyone. She is a model of customer service, especially given most folks are likely tired and crabby when finishing up a move. Crazy as it sounds, I left the drop off location in a better mood than when I arrived!

Not having morbidly obese employees who cannot lift themselves up into the truck when checking the truck in would help. I have more important things to attend to than going through their lighting safety checks because they are so obese that they couldn't hoist themselves up into the cab of the truck. And, the truck was beat. We took photos of the poor condition before we left the lot.



Have it be a bit more organized with the online orders and when there's an issue be quick to be on top of it personally. But all that aside, they were courteous and got me into a nice truck with low mileage that was very easy to drive. Justin is doing good business and I'll be back for sure.



I can't believe with the poor service they even sent me this. I preregistered to save time and it wasn't there. The guy who waited on me had no idea what he was doing. It took over 20 minutes to check out and I was the only one there. The shift manager told me to leave the appliance dolly in the back of a truck located near the corner of the store. I got a call around seven the next evening asking me when I was going to drop everything off. I called back after hours and told the gentleman that I had already done so and where. He took a note and told me I would have to call back the next morning. I told him no. I had to be in clinic at the hospital early and they would just have to look for it. The manager then called me five minutes later wondering where it was again and I had to repeat everything. They finally found it while I waited once again. I was very dissatisfied. I should have been refunded my money. I will shop elsewhere.
