Very quick and friendly service. Reasonably priced.

Friendly crew. The gas gauge didn't not work properly and I ran out of gas. The inside had sticky residue on steering wheel and dash board.

The Air Conditioner did not work in the truck , I drove for 2 days sweating , not happy about that . But otherwise the truck was fine

I PAID FOR U-HAUL'S GAS!!!! In my younger days, I've probably moved over a dozen times. I have always used U-haul every time I have moved. I have never had a worse experience than I did with U-haul of Lafayette. I rented a truck and there was only 3/16 of a tank of gas in the tank. The woman who processed the paperwork said they would issue me a $16.20 credit, on my bill, so that I could put extra gas in the tank and bring the truck back with at least a 1/4 of a tank. When I returned the truck, with a 1/4 of a tank, the man took the keys, punched in some things on his phone, said how much would be charged to my credit card and said I was good to go. When I arrived home and checked my email for the invoice they sent I realized they didn't issue me the $16.20 credit. I called them on Monday, 2 days later, and the gentleman I talked to apologized and said he would email his manager and that I would be credited the $16.20. I never heard back and it actually slipped my mind, until a month later. I asked my wife if we ever received the credit and she informed me we did not receive the credit. I called back and the gentleman I talked to said he was sorry I didn't receive the credit yet and he would email the manager. He said the manager would call me back and issue the credit. I never heard from the manager. I called back, the next day, and talked to a women who told me the same thing the gentlemen the day before told me. 5 minutes later a woman called me back and informed me that the truck was returned with less than a 1/4 of a tank. I returned the truck with a hair, and I do mean a hair, below 1/4 of a tank of gas. I explained how I couldn't believe that they were being that petty over a hair below. I told her I wanted to speak to someone higher up at which point she told me she would email HER manager and they would contact me. I never heard from her manager. I called back and got the same "I'm sorry, you'll get the credit, manager will call you" from customer service. I called back the next day I talked to a extremely rude woman at the location who informed me, again, that because the tank was a hair under I would not get the credit. I asked to speak to someone higher up and she transferred me to corporate. It took me an hour and a half to convince the people at corporate that I needed to speak to someone who could resolve the issue. They finally transferred me to a woman who was the GM over the manager of the location. I explained the whole story and explained that I returned the truck with more gas than was in it when I rented the truck. The GM told me the guy with his phone, that received the truck, marked down that I returned the truck with 3/16 of a tank, not a 1/4 of a tank. I informed her that that was wrong and I was told she had to believe them over me. I told her all I wanted was what was owed to me $16.20. She fought me and fought me, then offered me $8. By this time I just wanted to get off the phone with the sense of some sort of vict

i was called by this location around 1230 pm ask where the truck is, it was due back at noon. When i reserved the truck i clearly stated i needed to pick up and drop off at 5 pm or later. This was the second weekend that uhaul was a very unpleasant experience. i will not recommend to anyone.

You advertise 19.99 for truck rental. I used truck 3 hours cost me Over 80.

Horrible vehicle. I ordered a 20' got a 26'. The gas gauge was inaccurate causing me to have to call AAA for gas. Truck mileage was horrible. I spent nearly $1,100 in gas. The headlights were extremely dim and the brights did not work at all. At night I had to drive behind an 18-wheeler so I could see.

Fuel gauge did not function properly. I put more fuel than was needed bc of it and was refused any kind of reinbursement. Also, be careful of hidden charges.

Well. I called before my return time and told them I was running late, they charged me for an additional full day rental fee for being 2 hours late.

The trailer I rented was clean and pulled well. It was old and the wheels were heavily rusted. It was clean, functional, but ugly. (My wife notices these things.)

Best uhaul location I have ever used by far! Very efficient, clean and friendly. Wish all my moving experiences over the years could have been this easy!

Rating: needs to be more accurate. My pick up location was changed by phone the day before my requested day. In doing so the u haul rep change the time of pick up from 11 AM to 11 PM. The new location did not have my truck. I had to drive to another u haul location. The drop off I chose online, no long was a U-Haul rep

Y'all make my old negative mentality of renting a trailer a stress free experience.

Just keep doing what y'all do.

location was not the worse part. The telephone reservation service was awful. Mixed up order several times. wasted a lot of my time. Neve Again use Uhaul. Also one time had visible nail and rusted out rim. they changed to better trailer. but again wasted my time.

Terrible scheduling! Scheduled an open top trailer and a 20/26" van well over 2 weeks ago. Spaced these 2 rentals 1 week apart. The trailer rental was 2/18 @ 7:00AM and the truck rental 2/25 @ 7:00. I booked both of them with the GM of the location. On 2/24 I looked at my reservation and noticed the time was scheduled for noon, and the vehicle was 17'. I was out of the country so my wife called the location and told them that the reservation was wrong. She switched back to a 26' truck @ 7:00 AM. Uhaul confirm this with an email. After arriving the young man stated that they only had a 17' available. When I arrived into the location there was a 26' leaving, and 2 more at the location. This was not what I wanted to hear. The GM stated that I ordered a 17' and that she noted it. I completely disagreed with her. At the original booking she told me that a 17' would be fine for 2br home. I stated at the time of booking that I had 2br's, but that I also had a garage and patio and that a large truck would be better. I stressed that I only wanted to make 1 trip and a $10.00 increase would not make a difference. I've rented many vehicles and trailers over the years from Uhaul. I will continue renting when necessary, I just will NOT go back to this location. Instead of admitting she scheduled the appointment wrong she blamed me. I think I know what I wanted. This move was well planned for several months. I even came in a couple weeks prior to the move to schedule the reservations. It's funny how I had family from Houston, TX scheduled at 7:00 AM to assist my move to my new home, yet I decided to wait till noon to pick up my short 17' truck! Just a waste of money. I needed to make 2 trips plus 2 pick-up trucks. The larger truck was the right choice.

Angela McBride is an exceptional General Manager and Andre Guillory demonstrated exceptional customer service. If my plans ever need the services of U-Haul in the Lafayette, La area this would be the location I visit. Great team work with outstanding focus on the customer.

Rude people gave me run around to different uhall to end up.them having the uhal I needed.

Truck leaked but wasn't a problem.

Your fees are very misleading. You can only get .29 a mile if you pay $79 a day. I was told it would be 19.95 for the 2nd day didn't get that.

Staff was very friendly, both at the time of pickup and drop off. Very professional. I will be using this location again should I need a rental.

The cargo trailers need more hooks on the inside. The metal loops on the floor are too far apart, and there aren't enough of them to do any kind of cargo securing. These things need to be up the sides of the walls too. This is a huge issue.
