Originally, I was supposed to pick up a truck in Mountain View. However, after receiving the confirmation that I would not be able to get my truck until 5:30pm (when I needed to move that morning), I had to switch last minute to get a smaller truck at this location. When we arrived at the location, the gentleman had difficulty logging into the Uhaul system. I had to call customer service myself in order to get this issue resolved. He eventually logged in and found the reservation, which included not only the truck but also furniture pads and a furniture dolly. The gentleman informed me that he did not have pads or dollies at his location and that I would have to go another Uhaul about 15 minutes away. Luckily, that location had what I needed. I also pre-paid for a mattress cover which I never received.

The gentleman helping me did not seem to know what he was doing on the computer check out. I was reading over his shoulder helping him and when he did not agree he would just start the whole process over, he did not take his time to read what it was telling him to do. This location was not the location I chose, they switched my pick up location which I could not understand. I also left my Texas identification at that location and did not realize it until several days after my return, I have yet to speak with anyone there, nobody answers the phone. The worst location I have ever used....

I used the credit card to secure and pay for the druck. when the driver arrived they refused to release it to him. I was in a meeting and needed to step out to correct this, I travel and it was lucky that I was able to answer the phone this time. That will not be the case typically.

The person was extremely arrogant and rude to me, to the point that he was yelling at me and making me feel like a piece of trash. Really pathetic customer service, almost felt like an extortion.... Make sure the truck is at the location it was reserved at , I made my reservation 1 month prior and ended up having to pick it up at another lacation & time which delayed me in my move.

The customer service here is next to non-existent. When I first arrived, it took about 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge my presence. They finished their cigarettes before even helping me. It took about 10 minutes for them to get me processed online. Usually when I've rented in the past, I've had them show me the truck before I signed the form. They failed to show me the truck beforehand. Parking is difficult to find in this area and when I returned the truck, I parked the truck about a hundred yards away, the owners complained I parked too far. I stated there was no parking nearby, and they claimed I could have blocked the entrance/driveway. I told them it wasn't safe to block the entrance, and they shook their heads in disapproval. I gave them the key thinking they would do a walkthrough and inspect the truck before I left, but they said they would do it after I left. I was very hesitant because I was afraid they would add on any additional charges.

The building unit is of poor standards. The office space is not well maintained and looks kind of shady. The staff personnel was extremely rude and needs to learn how to talk to customers.

on google maps i drove 8 miles. but according to the odo, it said i drove about 17 miles. this uhaul place is also at a mechanics shop and i believe he switched the odo sensor and gear ratio to read faster than what it actually is running. i put a negative review on yelp and will be putting a negative review on BBB. i also have a friend as a witness.

We should have been warned about extra fees for more mileage at this location, and been advised to include it in our package. U-Haul should have an unlimited mileage option for 10 bucks extra.
