The person there when picking up the truck was trying to tell us that we had to have the truck back by noon, so he could rent it out again, though the contract was until 4:45 (we scheduled and picked up at 4:45). He's trying to get more bang for our bucks apparently. The only saving grace (and the reason for 2 stars instead of 1) was the kind young man who checked us back in. I will not be renting from here again.

I haul managers disorganized, and very slow customer service. They want to tell you their life story. I made a reservation for 9am and got on the road at 9:50 am. Signed up on line for the quick check out and the service took too long. I will never go back again

I ordered 12 furniture pads since I didn't know what I might need. I figured better to be safe than sorry. What I didn't know was that I didn't need any as the items were already covered well. I didn't break open the bags, so they didn't charge me. I didn't have to call, which was nice. I felt like they could have charged since I "rented them" and would have had to call to request a credit since I didn't use them. It was a nice surprise to not see them on my final bill.

We filled up the tank to how full it was when we rented the truck (7/8) immediately before returning the vehicle, yet were told we have to pay for gas because it was only 3/4 full. This is not true. We specifically took the time and returned it to 7/8 so we wouldn't have to pay this ridiculous gas charge. Also, when returning the truck after closing, there was no way to get inside to park the truck in a proper parking space so we had to park across several parking spots belonging to another company. There is no after hours number to call to ask questions or get further direction. We will be disputing the entire charge since the call to resolve was unsuccessful. We were told that a gas receipt wouldn't prove anything, yet this company has no proof that it was not filled appropriately and stated that it was already out on another 3 day rental.

Our contract was marked that the tank was full when we left, so we took a picture of the fuel tank at half a gallon where it ACTUALLY was when we left. Then went to return it at the same amount and are now going through a process trying to get our money back because we were charged for not filling it back up to full when it was never full in the first place. Someone messed up our contract and this needs to be resolved because this is not our fault.

The only thing I did not appreciate was having to drive to another town to pick up a uhaul because they couldn't offer me one at my local uhaul and adding 25 miles at $1.06 a mile to my bill. Nobody even offered alternative dates that I may be able to get the size I needed at my local uhaul.

I had the van at the drop off at 10:00 AM. I parked in front of the gate (no signs directing me where to park). I was greeted with "if you park in front of my gate, I can't move trucks in or out." No good morning, nothing. There were no other customers or trucks moving anywhere; I could easily have moved the truck to another spot if I had been asked, but nope; let's demean our customer by making him feel like an idiot for parking in the wrong spot. I am 61, I have a Master degree I follow directions very well and I did not deserve that first thing in the morning. The woman did immediately understand what she had just done and asked if there was anything she could do to make it right; like what?....I turned and walked away. I won't be going back. Customer service is NOT that hard; a smile, a good morning and asking me if I would mind moving the truck to another spot would have been SO easy. I do not like giving bad reviews; I believe in karma and the golden rule. I try to be nice to people hoping that it will come back to me. I did not happen this time.

I would like it clearly stated that I have a 24 hour time limit on my truck. I was unaware that I had to return my vehicle within this period, and was charged an extra day on my bill. If I would have known, I would have waited until this morning to rent the truck.
