Person who check me out was Stoned. His eyes were budging ,red he forgot to give me all my paper work If I had know there was check list for me to look at the truck I would not of noticed a few miner dents and dings. I could of gotten charge for. Brandon was his name. I one other time to use this location. Not a good experience either.. The worst part of the whole thing was he failed to tell me my drop off point closed at 5pm on Sunday. we tried to drop off Sunday at 5:30pm as we were told they would be open.

It took 35 minutes to checkout the vehicle. Jesse was initially friendly with us but you couldn't have a casual conversation without him stopping everything he was doing. He would belittle his counterpart (Potts) in front of us and bang on the window when he wanted him to come inside from pumping gas to help out other customers and would say, "I'm doing your job!" I stopped making casual chit-chat with him because I was getting frustrated and I didn't want him getting even more distracted. There was issues with the system accepting my email address and the printer was on the fritz and took FOREVER to print. When we finally went out to look at the van I noticed that the box was dirty. He said he'd go get a broom and clean it but I told him that I didn't care and that we needed to go because people were waiting on us. He then proceeded to debate with me over whether or not the van had 11/16 of a tank or 5/8 of a tank. So he just silently stared at the gas gauge for a good 30 seconds which felt like an eternity. I said it's subjective and would probably fall in your favor and that I'd bring it back full if it meant that I could just please go. He said nothing and didn't look at me as he handed me the keys and walked off. When I came back another guy was there and was friendly but not fully trained. The process took about 10 minutes but the printer didn't print all of the paperwork that was required and I was told that I could go. 10 minutes later I got a call that I needed to come back in and sign something. I won't use this location for a Uhaul or gas again. I might even consider Penske next time as I'm sure it couldn't be worse.

You charged my account a hundred and sixty dollars denied having charged 54.99 and it is showing on my account! My account needs to be credited 54.99 immediately or I will not being using uhau again. I had to pay an additional 19 54 upon returning that's 180.00 for a 24 hour rental? Not right!

The mileage stated was incorrect. The gas tank was less than half, attendant didn't know gas mileage for truck and I had to guess how much I used, then was threatened with a penalty charge when I guessed 3 gal for a 30 mi move. They wanted more gas in the truck. Had to wait for service until all gas customers and cigarette buyers were done, making check out longer than at a Uhaul center. Too bad, because the location is convenient.

The Chevron staff didn't know how handle equipment returns because they didn't know when the store was opened and when equipment could be returned. They also took no responsibility for their own errors.

This was a local service station and was U-Haul satellite station. The employees were very polite but it was evident they could use some more training with the U-Haul software.

I was not given the truck I was scheduled to use. The associate insisted the truck was the one I reserved, when the paper work said 20ft & the associate insisted it was a 20ft when it was a 15ft. I am even more displeased with the mileage discrepancy. The rental agreement said 9903.8 at time of rental when the associate and I inspected the truck the odometer reading 9917.9 and I was over charged for the truck and given an inadequate sized truck for this move. I will seriously reconsider using U-Haul in the near future for my next move. Thank you



I had originally reserved a 15 foot from a different location, but got a voice mail that it would be unavailable and I was getting upgraded to a 20 foot for the same price at a different location. I couldn't back the larger truck up a steep curved driveway due to the extra length. I didn't have time the day I was picking up the truck to make a change, but the regional center in Eugene should have tracked one down in the Salem area.

2 out of 3 people I spoke to about getting this truck were very unprofessional and extremely rude. Had I of not needed the truck desperately, I would have gotten one elsewhere. The man I spoke to was not nice, and acted as if my questions were a hassle to answer. The lady I spoke to had a very sour attitude followed by, "it's been a long day". She then proceeded to get upset that her computer was not working, making comments such as "come on... now my computer isn't wanting to work.. what the heck". VERY unprofessional. She was just plain rude in general. Got upset that I asked her to repeat the address of the pick up site. The end of our phone call was "The information will be in the e-mail I am sending to you. Yep. Good luck, bye". HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I will not recommend this to any of my friends who are moving. Next time, I will make 30 trips in a small truck before I rent a u-haul again. What a waste of 150 dollars.

My truck had 2 issues. First, there was a very loud squeaking noise somewhere near the drivers head outside the cab. I understand those are hard to find sometimes but it was very annoying and made it hard to talk sometimes whiling driving. When I mentioned this to the worker that checked the truck back in, his reply was "you should have turned up the radio louder". The second and more serious issue was/is the headlights on the truck I used. I came through the mountains at night and the headlights were terrible. I could hardly see and when I had oncoming traffic it became almost impossible to see. It was very unsafe and there was a 60 mile stretch where it would have been very easy to have an accident because of the low visibility I had driving. When I mentioned this to the worker I received nothing but silence. I have used your service dozens of times in the last 30 years and have been very satisfied most of the time, the couple of times that there has been a problem the check in outlet has always compensated me a bit to make up for the problem. This time I did not fill the tank back to where it was when I rented it (in my mind compensation for the dangerous position I was in with the bad headlights), the worker at the station, and the person on the phone that had to help with the check in because their computer as down, would not acknowledge the problem and I was told I would have to pay an additional $40 fuel charge. I then filled the tank to the required level, $30 worth of gas. My overall experience, both with the truck itself and with the way I was treated as a customer, left a lot to be desired.

The store employee was dressed well in his uniform. He was cheerful and communicative. He inspected the truck with me, took care of pumping the gas and then parked the truck for me. He explained that I had exceeded the mileage limit but it would only cost me $2.24. He shook my hand, welcomed me to the city, and wished me all the best. Definitely what I expect from UHaul!
