Technician used smart phone and took forever to ready our paperwork. Then, if that wasn't bad enough, said the tow dolly "was not recommended" for our tow vehicle??? I measured the "outside of tire" width of the tow dolly he had and it was 6 feet. The Uhaul site told us it was the correct tow dolly!!! He then send us on a wild goose chase to another Yuma Uhail dealer who gave us the EXACT SAME DOLLY and it worked fine. I measured this one and it too was 6 feet wide outside tire dimension! I inspected the new tow dolly and can tell you without a doubt that it was the exact same dolly as the one on Joshua Street where we were sent by the Uhaul website in the first place! What a run-around mess! And all this time we were on the clock with the 10 foot box truck using up our "load-up" time for the day... Not acceptable!!!

Location was not marked very well and had loud music playing at the front door. I drove and walked by it, before I realized it was also a U-Haul store... Also the windshield on the truck I rented was VERY dirty, with bugs and some dirt. It was difficult to see out of and a safety issue and should have been cleaned before I picked it up.

Customer service in this location is ridiculous! The people who run it also own a convenience store. I was only attended to whenever the cashier was not helping their convenience store customers. So the cashier was intermittently assisting me because he had to ring purchases up. This was compounded by the fact that their software was not working, and I had to be checked out by someone else over the phone. Consequently, I had a very long wait time. The worst part is that the cashier could not give me a receipt when I returned the truck because the software was still not working, and I had to ask him to at least write a note for me that I already returned the truck. When I asked him what my total charge would be in the receipt that he said he would send in an e-mail, he told me it would be $58.26 which is the estimated total charges. I told him it should be less than that amount because I only used the truck for 25 miles instead of the estimated 30 miles I provided upon checkout. He then told me that it would be about $5 less then and that he would make the adjustment in the receipt. Well, he did make that adjustment in the e-mailed receipt, but he also charged me $5.25 on fuel when the truck had a little bit more fuel when I returned it than when I got it. It had about 7/16 gallons of fuel upon checkout and about 7.5/16 gallons upon its return. I still have the receipt of the fuel I put in shortly before returning the truck. The return date and time in the receipt is also incorrect at 4/23/2016 2:49 PM instead of 4/22/2016 around 7:35 PM. I have called customer service to complain about this horrible experience and expect to be called by a manager within three business days as assured by the customer service agent. My objection reference number is 1077647.

Move it to another location which actually uses the air conditioning. My husband and I sat there for more than an hour for paperwork that should have been prepared long before we arrived, and we sat sweating profusely until we were lucky enough to have to go out and get back in the vehicles. It is in a small grocery store which looks more like a smoke shop with hookas for sale and adult magazines right behind the Uhaul register. I was uncomfortable the whole time I was in there and was grateful to go outside in the 110 degree weather. Please do your customers a favor and move this to another location. There has to be a lube shop, mechanic shop, tire shop or something better than a pathetic 1-stop shop to have it in.

Start with adequate signage, have some equipment at the location. Confirm that the equipment is in working shape, discovered later that it had a flat tire.

I am glad I didn't have to drive to Yuma, Az to pick up the U-haul truck. Happy to know that Somerton has this time of business. Very convenient and customer service was excellent!
