Horrible experience, middle aged ethnic man yelled at me saying that he was not a drop off location and that ”U-Haul are idiots!” Told me he would impose a $50 penalty charge if I didn’t take the truck to another location. I filled a customer action file.

After unloading the trailer and going in to advise them I was dropping off, a counter person said “could you not leave the trailer there, we park them about a 1/2 mile down the road.” I dropped at location on my paperwork. I then had to re-hitch the trailer and drive down the road to a parking lot that was extremely tight, and was told just to drop in a very tight space. I was using a 26’ to pull so it was a little difficult to minipulate in tiny parking lot.

Would be helpful if the uhaul truck being rented were at the parking lot of the Pharmacy at time of pick up, rather than having to drive to another site a mile away after completing paperwork to get it. Also, a clean windshield at time of pick up would have been nice. Our uhaul already had tons of bugs plastered on the windshield when we rented it.

Every thing went very well. One thing that was a bit of extra work for me was taking the truck about 2 miles away to park it in their lot after completing the final paper work. Not a big deal but after a days work it was just one more thing to do...and dealing with traffic again...before I was done with the rental.

The sales person quotes were not the same price as I was charged at the end. The truck on the drivers inside was covered with mud.

I RESERVED FOR THE TRUCK FOR A 9AM PICKUP. IT WAS ALMOST 10:30AM BEFORE I GOT THE TRUCK. THAT CAUSED MY MOVERS TO BE DELAYED, MY WHOLE TRIP WAS DELAYED BECAUSE OF THIS INITIAL DELAY. UPON ARRIVAL IN ALABAMA, MY HELP THAT WAS HIRED TO UNLOAD, HAD LEFT TO DO ANOTHER JOB AND I WAS DELAY ONCE AGAIN, ALL STEMMING FROM THE DELAY IN PICKING UP TRUCK IN TENNESSEE.

Its a pharmacy / strip mall. There was no one working and really odd choice for a drop off location.

No information on web site to be able to return truck

The location keeps their trucks offsite at a secondary location. I was sent to the secondary location to pick up truck but it was not apparent where to actually pick up the vehicle once I arrived. (Just a parking lot with no one around). Not a big deal, but it should be obvious where to get help and it isn't.

We were given the wrong trailer. Give them the right equipment

You have to go to the business first then drive another mole down the road to drop off the truck. When driving a 26' truck with a car transport on the back and getting in and out of tight spots.

The mileage on the contract was way less than what the truck really had on it making it seem as though we went 554 miles OVER what we drove, the contract said full tank it was between 1/2 & 3/4 and there was garbage in the back and under the passenger seat and we almost got charged for that crap. Luckily I had photographic evidence.

I arrive at the pharmacy which is the physical address located online. I was confused bc there were no u hauls there. So I called and was told to drop it off in a parking lot about a mile down the road. I went there and found it was just an unstaffed gravel lot. I was struggling to get my suv with a 6x12 trailer backed into a spot. I called the pharmacy again and requested help. I was told nooone could leave the pharmacy at the time. I kept attempting to get into the spot and couldn’t so I called again. I was told someone would come help. 30 minutes later I was still there waiting for help from a mile down the road. I attempted just unhooking the trailer and leaving it where it was bc it was clear at that point no one was coming to help me. I got everything unattached and found the trailer was too heavy for me to get off the hitch. I called again...10 minutes later someone finally came to help me. So I waited over 40 minutes to simply drop off a trailer!!!!! I don’t understand how the location can be “open” online but no one is at the physical drop off location to help. I understand how pharmacies work and know a pharmacist must be present when the doors are open. So they waited 40 minutes to come help me until they were on lunch break. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received! It took me calling the pharmacy 3 times begging for someone to come help me . I couldn’t even just leave and drop off at another location bc I couldn’t turn around in their lot with the trailer on so I could physically leave. I was stuck and at the mercy of waiting 40 minutes for someone to come help me. When I asked the owner who came to help how they could run a business and have no one there he said the staff is at the pharmacy. So the u haul staff is also the pharmacy staff that I was told could not leave he pharmacy to come help me and until 2 more phone calls and lunch break I couldn’t get anyone to help me

Everything was fine had no issues

Drop off is a mile away and I had to wait a long time to get acknowledged.

U-haul over charged me 50 miles, working with agent to get returned mileage reduced from 92 to 42. Probably a clerical error.

My 26ft truck rode really crappy and was dirty and bad on gas. Truck smelled like it was burning and smoke was coming out of the exhaust. Power steering was going out. Great size truck loved the people at the location but truck should not be on the road

Signage for the location would be helpful.
