Only staff member at location was not there. They left a note saying they were out on a call and there was a drop box for keys and paperwork. That person needs another staff person. Site looked ok though.

I didn’t expect I would have to drive 5 hours to pick up a truck which I thought I had reserved locally. Agent answered the phone with a greeting of, “What the #@&$ #@&$#@.” First time for everything I guess.

I am disgusted with the treatment and service I have received. There’s so much miscommunication between customer service and the actual location. After being reassured 3 separate times that I would have a truck I get to the location to pick it up and was told “sorry, no truck”. A few phones calls later I ended up getting one but it was a lot smaller then what I needed. After returning the UHaul, I ended up slipping on all the ice they had in their driveway. Flat on my back! It’s been 3wks and I’m still dealing with intense back pain from it. All locations should be maintaining their property!!! And now today I get an $80 bill for gas I never used. So not impressed!!

After multiple call in attempting to reach the local person, to drop the rental. Finally got a call back to how to return rental. Lot full, no place to return rental...other then drop it on the roadway.

There was a recent heavy snowfall in the area (70 cm or 28in.). There was no personnel available. The lot wasn’t cleared of snow. There wasn’t enough room to park more than one trailer due to the snow. I left a message on their answering machine. They did not reply.

There was no one at the drop off location during business hours, and the phone number was not correct. After our initial negative experience, we were hoping this location would be more helpful, but there was no one to help us, and we received a phone call several days after to see if we had in fact dropped off the vehicle! Not only had we dropped it off before we were required to, we left it with a quarter tank more than we received it with. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this to anyone.

The onsite personnel is very hard to get a hold of. There is never anyone one site to talk to. If you call you get the voicemail. The person/persons running this outlet need to be more available by phone and onsite. It took me two days get a hold of someone to rent a truck. Once the truck was rented the condition of the vehicle was great.

I was not walked around the unit like I was when I came to BC 4 years ago. I was just told that the unit was clean and to please check the box. I had ordered for a 15' truck and got a 20' truck. I was not advised of the change. I never used a transport trailer and was told that there was instructions available. Was not shown. Had to rely on co-workers to figure it out! I had asked for half a dozen blankets. They were not counted, but was told they were in the back. I had hired packers from Terrace and they wrapped everything. I was not told I had to return them, so had used those blankets when I put my stuff in storage. Had to go back to the storage with other blankets and replace those, only to find I had five! AND I received a text after I left that they had added two more days to my order in event of storms. Overall, I had one surprise after another.

for the dealer to be on time and have an open store at daytime and for the drop off spot in Chetwynd b. c that lady there didn't even have any idea that the trailer was sitting there for three days and tryed to charge us for extra days... and she didn't even walk her parking spot before phoning me about the trailer.... not happy with this move

The online booking process went relatively smooth. But when we had another question and called Kala, the local dealer in Terrace. She found a number of problems with our contract. Our pick up point was a town that was a 2 1/2 hour drive each way. She changed things around and got us a little more time, with the truck. Also I had originally declined the use of a furniture dolly. Then decided I needed one. So she had to rewrite the contract again to include furniture dolly. With no complaints. The only negative, I had with Uhaul was the three dozen blankets I had requested be in the truck. She had to scramble to find that many blankets on short notice. I think because of this a few of the blankes were damp and dirty and needed to be washed. No fault of the local contractor though.

The trailer had some old damage that wasn't "stickered" and because we completed the rental over the phone, I wasn't aware this might be a problem. luckily the receiving agent agreed that it wasn't my damage but I could see where this might be a problem. I liked the ease of completing the reservation over the phone but perhaps the outgoing agent should have a closer look at their rentals for previous damage. I will make sure I am more vigilant in the future as well.

Your agent was awesome. The parent company was terrible. Your online booking confirmed a particular size trailer but your agent was unable to supply it because of the online inaccuracy and incompetence. I suggest not confirming a product you are unable to deliver. It made us look bad and it made you look bad.
