Reserved a tandem axle 6x12 trailer for a 24 hr. rental. The guy at Rick's didn't have the equipment to lift the trailer on my factory hitch which was needed because the trailer was on a slight incline. I had to help get it on the ball. It took 15 minutes to hook it up with my help, but I didn't mind. He confirmed that the lights were working and off I went. I couldn't understand the dirty looks I was getting from motorists as I drove into Arlington. It turns out that the lights were defective and the trailer brake lights were on the entire time. No blinkers. Dangerous, but stuff happens. I return the trailer the next morning within the 24 hour period and mentioned the defective tail lights. I wasn't going to make a big deal out of the fact that I had rented a defective trailer. However when I checked my bill, I realized I was overcharged. Charged double! That I mind. I called Ricks and was told that I had not returned it until an hour or so after the 24 hr period. That's not correct. When I returned the trailer the next morning, there was no mention that I was past the 24 hr. period…. because I wasn't. No mention that I was going to be charged double. No paperwork. They must have checked it in late. So now I'm having to dispute the charge on my credit card as it is an unauthorized charge. I don't know if this is it a problem with Ricks or if this is how U-Haul generally does things, but it's bad business. That I do mind.

Kilania G.Have a proper place to drop off the uhaul. Returning the uhaul took almost an hour. The app and the website were not working for the return. Had to stay on the phone with customer service for almost 50 mins to try and return the truck. A process that usually should take 5-10 mins.
Pavan C.There was a warning message on the entire time of the rental - Service Tire Sensor System with the low tire warning. I was nervous driving the truck. The customer service representative had checked the tires and they were OK - but I was honestly nervous the entire 366 mile trip that something would be wrong with the tires. This was not a safe feeling at all.
