Great unit, just what we were looking for.
The location's convenient, being so close to downtown, though that necessarily means that it's a little cramped to get the vehicle out. I needed to get towards Mercer, which was at least pretty straightforward.

The location of the location was the problem. It was hell to get the van back with all the construction going on around it. I imagine in normal times in normal traffic it would be ok. The van and the staff were fine.
Person didn`t show up to open until 8:20 AM. Facility is going to be demolished in December. Would not honor the free month of storage. I went somewhere else for storage rental.
This was a really convenient, central service and pickup location, and the office and staff at Seattle Vault Self Storage were very nice, prompt and professional. I'm very satisfied with the incredible convenience and utility of this service. Thank you
Why is there a $4 credit card charge? I was never notified of that when handing over my card, I would have paid with cash or check. Otherwise, service was excellent.
it is located in a very convenient location but difficult for the uninitiated to leave in the truck as well as return the truck. i had a motorcycle parked next to the spot when i returned the truck and it was daunting to get into the small space
I am confused by your survey. Are you asking only about the physical location of the pick up, or are you asking about the general quality of the place where I picked it up? The location itself was kinda frustrating because there was construction going on all around and it was a fairly busy area. The people who were working at the desk were both very friendly though. Overall the experience of renting was more satisfying than the experience of taking this survey.

Keep up the excellent customer service. I made a reservation but showed up at the wrong location. They immediately gave me the same truck for the same price. Wonderful people to work with. Canceling the reservation took longer!
Clean well lit, great location. Units doors allow access to full width. Loading doc/ utility carts made moving in easy. Sad- the building is to be demoed next year, won`t be an option for much longer.
The men working at the front were difficult to deal with. It seemed they were inattentive and irritated by my presence. I am a nice person so I'm not sure why I had this experience and usually I do not do these surveys but looking at this location as a business I thought I might throw a pointer. But uhaul is a great service in general. Thanks.
Once construction is finished it'll be much nicer.
Pickup van with 5/16 tank. Return after 16 miles of driving and incur $41.63 gas charges! Never leave without completing paperwork!
Big fan! It was my first time driving a cargo van and renting from Uhaul and the service was impeccable (the person I spoke with suggested I take it for longer, and he was right!).
Staff was very nice and helpful. Facility is clean and organized. Highly recommend using this location for storage.
Very dirty van. Windows very dirty and side and windshield COVERED with bird poop.
No place to park car on site so add downtown parking to your expenses.
The elevator broke down on the day I needed to move in, so they sent me away.

After my experience today I would not recommend u haul to anyone. After booking the u haul a week in advance, I called to ask about extra charges if the truck cannot returned in the allotted time. I was told by a customer service representative that I would only receive another daily rate charge, around 40 dollars, so I went to u haul online and changed my reservation from 7 hrs to 24, just to be safe. Upon picking up the u haul I found the reservation was not changed and if I didn't have the u haul back by 4 pm I would get fined up to $100.00. I was forced to find other means to move today, not an easy feat on memorial day weekend. I was also charged for 2 gallons of gas, when I drove no more than 3 miles... i am very disappointed in u haul. Budget was able to accommodate me day of, and for much cheaper.
My girlfriend and I arrived for our appointment to pick up a cargo van right on time. When I approached the desk to walk in check in, Leo the attendant at the front desk, immediately snapped at us, with no welcome, and said "I'm checking in vans, you'll need to please wait over there." The rest of the interactions with Leo were unpleasant. He was short with both of us, I had multiple questions I had intended to ask, but as soon as I finished the first question I knew I didn't want to try to ask anymore. I asked "Is there any possibility to extend the time of my rental?" And without a breath and visibly annoyed he snapped back "No, there's people right after you it's not possible." Now, I've worked in customer service for a matter of years and I know that when a customer asks for something that I know is obviously not possible, I still attempt to try to assure them that the service they ARE receiving will be exemplary, or at least SUFFIECIENT to suit their needs; or similarly I attempt to help by offering another service, at another time-- anything to make them feel cared for and covered for any other needs of which they may come back and give us their business. I knew immediately I would never come back here for another move, and would discourage the large group of friends I have that are also about to make moves to use this UHAUL location. A move can be a stressful time for many people, especially such a dense city where the time windows between move out and move in can only be a matter of hours for some residences. Add in the time limit of a van rental and a customer, like myself has got an extremely stressful day ahead of them. The LAST thing I want is to deal with unbelievably rude associate, who finds it too taxing to provide average customer service to a new client. The remainder of this check in followed a similar manner. Rushed me through an initial inspection of the previous damages to the van. Rushed me through signatures. And sent me off. I came back right on time to return the van, and was relieved to never have to come back to this business again. UHAUL, if you want to increase your business at this location, especially during such a huge boom of out of state transplants moving to SLU, Capitol Hill, Belltown, you need to do something about your customer service associates. This was absolutely awful.
The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and speedy in getting us on our way. The location was very difficult to get in and out of. I was not given any instructions on where to leave the keys, so I left them in the truck, locked. They charged me for a locksmith. The movers I hired through U-Haul never showed up even though I paid for those services. The truck smelled of marijuana when we picked it up. I have used U-Haul in the past and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Very disappointed in this whole experience.

Clean the truck (inside/outside). Other than that, the experience was good.
I was charged for the insurance even though over the phone I had declined the service. Other than that the customer service was great.
Everything worked out great. The checkin/checkout process was easy and the staff was very polite. I have no complaints.
Service staff was very cold and inhospitable. No communication whatsoever regarding breakdown of unexpected fee's and charges.
Hope to never be forced to use this location again.
The staff service level was excellent. How ever, the unit was far from clean.
I made a reservation for 9 am. Did not get the van until almost 11. Sat around waiting for our van when we could have been moving. It caused us to be late moving out

Original unit had pillar in it. Another unit was offered, although slightly smaller, it met our needs.
Ended up canceling reservation due to change in plans.
Elevators were down, but the gentleman who was working at the storage unit on the afternoon of April 27th was fantastic.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plan accordingly if you`re moving in at the end of the month, on a weekend, as there will be a lot of others doing the same.
I went to the storage unit and had to wait an hour because the clerk was on lunch. Once he came back, he informed me that the unit was not available. I am very upset and want my money back.
The storage size 5x9 I reserved wasn`t actually available, but the staff helped me reserve a larger unit 5x10 for a little more.
The store clerk was nice, but they didn`t have my reservation on file. I`m hoping that I won`t end up paying twice. The unit and hallways were clean and kept at a good temperature.
there was no place to pull up my truck to unload. i don`t see how you are a functioning storage facility in these conditions.

Very friendly staff. my only issue was my unit needed swept out pills and bb`s all over the floor of unit from the last renter.
The staff are professional but personal as well as knowledgeable. The facility is very clean and well organized. I am so happy to have found this storage location!
Please refund- unable to access unit after being told that access was available all evening. I had to move all my stuff into a family members garage because I could not unload my stuff into the unit.

Person who was in charge this past sunday was completely rude with an attitude during closing time. He constantly reminded us that it was closing at 7:00 starting at 6.
Seattle Vault Self Storage is convenient, clean and well managed. I was impressed by the accessibility of the loading dock and units. I`d recommend this location to anyone!
The storage facility opened late. This was a bit challenging. The unit also had a lock on it, which had to be removed.I am, however, pleased with the unit and the service.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility supplied large dollies and a freight elevator for moving large and heavy items. The storage units were reasonably priced.

Service was fine but we had to wait 15-20 minutes for the manager to appear as the office was closed at 1pm on a tuesday.
