I rented a van and a storage unit, the process went smoothly, and the attendants were nice and helpful. The only bad thing is that when you reserve only the space is not warranted, my storage unit was supposed to be on the 1st floor but when I arrived there was no availability and I was placed on the 2nd floor, system should be updated to avoid that.

I did kill it, but was very dissapointed to see this and pray they are not crawling across my things I just stored.😟 I dont want roaches hitching a ride to my new dwelling.
REGINA J | First ImpressionsOn Thurs., Aug. 7, 2025, three (3) customers were awaiting assistance at approximately 8:00am. Nakita Settles managed to ensure that two (2) of the customers were signed-in to retrieve moving trucks, including taking pictures of the vans before leaving the lot. Ms. Settles took care of the third customer and answered several phone calls. Moreover, Ms. Settles' attention to detail was impressive along with exhibiting enormous professionalism. Upon return of the moving van, the care of the customer (me) continued by Ms. Settles. Every business should have an employee who goes beyond the basic requirements. Ms. Settles was awesome! MARCELLA D | Overall ExperienceI moved to Seattle in 2018 and maintained a storage unit with the Capitol South location for the last nearly seven years. Returning to the District of Columbia, I chose to clean out my unit. Sadly, I picked the wrong day, the outside temp was in the nineties, which met your facility was even hotter. Moving boxes in the heat was brutal and there was no water or refill area for customers. A vending machine or water station would be helpful. Over the years it's good to see the updates in security. I chose to rent a cargo van to support my move. I would admit, this is why I gave the rating of average. Unfortunately, I forgot my glasses and wasn't able to see my way through the process using my phone. However, the customer service representative who helped me had very little patience for my deficit. Although they helped navigate through the phone, they were rude and could use some customer service coaching. When they stated the price of the rental, I didn't hear them at first and asked them to repeat what they said. Unfortunately, it still wasn't clear, so I asked again because again, I didn't have my glasses and I wasn't sure of the charges. However, the response I got was, "I'm not repeating it again." I don't think I was being difficult, but I don't think any customer deserves to be mistreated. To make matters worst, their directions for retrieving the vehicle lacked clarity and customer focus. Returning the vehicle was a very positive experience, I appreciate the person who checked the cargo van in. They recognized the system was working on my phone and were very sensitive to me not having my glasses. I also appreciate the person who asked if everything was to my satisfaction as I departed the garage. Also, the team who check d me out for my storage unit was very helpful. Although the person who checked me out was not 100% clear on the process, there was a more experienced person near by who provided support.
