Tips on Getting to and Living in Long Beach, CA

Through our partnerships with local businesses, we have more than 10 locations directly within the city of Long Beach. We will be nearby when you get here!

  • Freeway Access – SoCal traffic has a reputation for being constantly congested, and it isn’t something you can normally avoid. Living in the Greater Los Angeles Area means you’ll probably need a car. However, one perk you’ll have living in Long Beach is the central location with access to the I-405, I-605, I-710N and SR 22-E.
  • Find Your Fit – There are dozens of different subdivisions that make up the wide range neighborhoods of Long Beach, and these can change rapidly within a couple blocks. There are areas such as Downtown, Belmont Shore, Bixby Knolls, and Naples, just to name a few. Familiarize yourself with the area before committing to a certain neighborhood.
  • Port of Long Beach – Long Beach is home to the second largest seaport in the United States. A byproduct of having such a large port nearby is there tends to be a lot of large trucks on the road that contribute to the traffic during rush hour. However, it remains a major economic force in the region and supports more than 30,000 jobs in Long Beach alone.
