I've been charged for gas when I took a picture of the gas tank not full when I got it. I'll be calling. We arrived when the store opened and were told to wait across the road. We waited 45 min and no one showed up or answered the phone or my messages. Finally we walked back over and there was another person who claimed he texted me but it wasn't even close to my phone number. As it was we had to drive an hour each way to Whitby to get the truck since the guildwood location didn't have one for us. It cost us far more in gas due to that extra 2 hours if drivingKevin C.

Two many requirements for the customer to follow with the mobile check in and drop off process. The employee explained everything but it is easy to miss the texts that are time sensitive and location sensitive during the rental and drop off process. So essentially, try to reduce or simply the steps.Chris C.

Absolutely awful service. They overcharged to refill the tank, then added an EXTRA charge for not collecting the remainder of the payment even when they HAD OUR PAYMENT DETAILS ON FILE. Instead, they waited until some arbitrary deadline had passed to charge the card on file, WITH the additional "non-paid" charge. I'm so beyond livid. This is the absoute worst rental company EVER, DO NOT USE THEM.Mikhail V.

Last minute required a truck items didn't fit in my pickup truck. Immediately got a call from location stating equipment will be available sooner if needed. Met with John and he was very knowledgeable and polite. Definitely will use this location again.Dave D.
It was unclear to me where to pick up the truck. I went to the rear of the building where I saw other U-Haul trucks parked. It turns out the truck was parked across the street and I never did see the clerk to check out.Rachel W.
It was extremely challenging to find this location as there were no signs for it and there was no one physically present. The appointment at my original location was canceled 8 minutes before the pick up time and I got routed to this location. I finally called the individual who had texted me from this location and he showed up after a couple minutes. The vehicle was messy inside, the passenger side / rear view mirror and the driver side inside door handle were both broken and I was still told to drive the vehicle. I will probably be shopping around elsewhere for my next rental.CHIRAAG S.
The customer service was excellent. The cab of the van was quite dirty, the oil and tire service warnings kept flashing on the dash but overall I would recommend this place, They just need to maintain the vehicles.Margo B.

Return process via Mobile website does not work well. No process to upload a picture that was taken prior to dropping the keys. Van windows should have been cleaned. Hard to see. Company has two business locations so you have to arrange pick up. Had to alter my pick up time as staff wanted to get lunch which I understand if working solo but made me rushed to get to my destination on time. Confusing pick up and drop off and Mobile phone links didn't work properly for me either time and maybe I didn't need to do return as I brought vehicle back in two hours when booked for longer and dropped key in box before business hours close as nobody there at office.. Vehicle returned with more gas then I went out with. $14 of gas for like 30 km that is crazy O should be credited for extra gas put in paid by me. Close location but Ajax full uhaul easier to deal with in person at counter to ask questions etc. Staff member was nice but I felt on his timeline not mine but maybe they don't staff this location on Saturday? Windows were streamed and windshield and mirrors due to weather. Change oil soon dash indicator was on and low tire indicator on as one tire has no sensor was advised. ThanksDiane C.

Missing one windshield wiper, cheap to fix and is a safety hazard. Could have used some explanation on the overdrive button, overdrive was disengaged when I picked it up and didn't realize there was overdrive until I wasted half a tank of gas.David S.
Didn't have the truck i requested and have me a smaller one to move 4 hours away. Couldn't take all of my stuff because of this. They changed the time and pickup location of my truck.ERIC C.

The process was terrible. We had a hard time finding the contact person. We waited at the location for 40 minutes before the person showed up. The signage for the office was non existent. We had the van for 1 hour (just to move a small lifeboat) and when we returned the van, no one was there again. We were over charged for the insurance which was declined twice (one in person and one online). We will not return to this UHaul location.Steven M.

The man was late. I was waiting outside for him. When he arrived, I then had to wait inside with him because his system was not working. It took me 30 minutes to pick up a van when I was the only customer. My cost $104.00 for 2hrs, plus $27.00 gas for 76km. This us ridicules. Never again.ANNAND M.
