Lorraine HI won’t recommend U-Haul to anyone. U-Haul charged me an extra $450. Once I get my money back, I’m deleting my U-Haul account and app. U-Haul lost a good customer.

The slowest service I ever had “at This location “ And he was on the phone for ever while I am waiting outside waiting for him (maybe manager) to hook it up ( someone else did while he still on phone). And now he start to check hook up and take picture. And he took for ever. I told he is taking too long. He responded he is manager and he is very busy. And I felt he don’t care if I am a customer. Not going back to this place.
Aly EWebsite for 24/7 rentals didn't work right. Had me scheduled at a different pickup site, removed the dolly rental i had added, and website had issues verifying identify. I had to load my drivers license multiple times. Site was closed on the Saturday I was picking up the truck so I couldn't get a dolly, made for a hard day of lifting.

Patricia NLocation was difficult to find. Google maps took me way out of the way to get there. Not the locations fault, but I was disappointed that my pickup location was moved to here from my original reservation. Would have made the whole experience much better!

Russell PTruck was not parked at address listed. When we finally found where it was we couldn’t open it. We HAD to call the office for help and the guy there was so irritated that he told us to keep trying. He eventually was forced to hop on a golf cart to drive over to the actual truck location, which isn’t mentioned anywhere on uhauls website or disclosed over the phone.

Sandr GI am amazed to have a return time of 7 pm but your store closes at 6 pm. This is not even disclosed to the customer and thus the customer has to make other arrangements or completely dissatisfied with the Individual behind the counter, rude, not even answering simple questions from the customer. I wonder if the owner or the name of U-haul is being butchered by these kinds of individuals. I am sure that if really known by the Name U-Haul, this would not happen again.

Ram RThe attendant needs to know more about the Uhaul computer system and their equipment. I was not aware that my new truck had the proper wire connector for the trailer. Also the trailer was dirty inside and the running lights kept blowing my truck fuse.

Jay MThe lady who processed the transaction was very nice, but her computer didn't work and she issued the wrong trailer to me the first time. There was no assistance to connect the trailer and no instructions were given to me on how to return the trailer after business hours. Luckily, I have experience with these trailers and was able to take care of it myself. The trailer itself was fine and I had no issues with it. I'll not be going back to this location.

Arnoldo EStarted off at another location 10 miles away and wasted an hour trying to pick the truck up because the mobile check in service was not working. Staff was nice over the phone, but couldnt resolve issue even though I was parked right in front of the truck. Sent me to another location 10 miles away. The mobile check in was horrendous!

brian mI have an idea that would be beneficial for families moving across the country. I actually came up with this idea when I was looking for a rental truck. My idea is a full size quad cab moving truck. No one has one and uhaul could be the first. It would have saved us money because we could have towed one car and put the family of 5 in the cab. I think it is a great idea. If you want to talk about this further I am available at 623-824-5360 or donaldkent70@gmail.com. I also think the cab noise is too high but that maybe due to the size of the engines. Positioning of the gas pedal was very awkward.
Donald KI had called to let them know I was in route. When I arrived, doors were locked.(4:00) The mechanic from the shared business location did the computerized check in while being walked through the process by another person via phone. I did my own retrieval of dolly, was shorted blankets due to inventory and later directed to drive to another location 30 miles from my home to get the balance. Other customers waiting were growing tired of their wait. I had to used process of elimination to find which truck fit me key. I felt bad for the mechanic. I'm hopeful that the person was taken away for a valid reason, as they did not mentioned not being there when I called in for directions about 5 minutes out. I have rented from U-haul many a time. You tend to get good, bad and terrible service from any given location. I understand that. My concern is in a well maintained vehicle that will get me safely to my destination. This I have always had great luck with. As for people...well, you really can't change behavior for them.
Jeffery FThe back lights fell off the trailer! We didn't know, of course, until we got to the broken down vehicle and went to hook it up. One light was completely gone and the other was hanging out by a wire! If this had been properly attached to the tow, this would not have happened.

Albert HA little difficult to spot from hwy , Need better signage due to it set back on a road from a frontage rd. Other wise didnt take long to return trailer and the young lady did her job very well and was very pleasant through out .

Richard LI had a poor experience with U Haul. I would not recommend U Haul to anyone I cared about. At the drop off, no one was around to help, No instructions posted. There was a key box behind gate hidden be a truck. The people there were to busy working on old bus to talk to me.
Richard LCondition of trailer - not bad, but the lift strap on the door was sliced almost in two. Did not cause me a problem, but since they appeared to have numerous available trailers of the same size, it seems that this unit should have been held for repair and another used to put on the road. Service - it took an unacceptably long time to simply get me on the road with a pre-reserved trailer (I did not "check in" on-line in advance). The attendant just didn't seem to be focused on getting things done quickly, although she did handle it capably and was reasonably pleasant. When I called the number on the contract after hours about how to return the unit, I was GRUFFLY(!) told to find another location that took after hour returns despite having been told when I picked it up that I could return it any time during the weekend or early Monday morning. None of this caused me any real problem, but I was in a hurry when I picked it up and the overall sense of trying to make a customer happy was sadly lacking. I'd use this location only as a last resort in the future.

Nelida EPeople were rude did not even ask me if I needed help had to grap a guy who I thought was a employee after he advised me that the person who handles uhaul rentals would not be there until 9:00 am directed me to another person who just let me stand there had to tell her “can you help me?” She did not even take her face off her computer to look up at me for a response!! Gave me 2 sheets of paper not even in a uhaul sleeve! Walk out saying to myself “NEVER AGAIN!!!!”
