Map showed to go a block past, then around the block; Hickory has a goodly number of one-way streets. I got a big break in traffic and just turned left off 321, then left into the parking lot, street was two-way.

I reserved a 15' truck at the Granite Falls NC location and when I got there, I was informed that my truck was not there. That in fact my order had been passed around to diff locations and she did not know where my truck was. After she was on the phone with diff people, found out the truck was at Big Bargins on 321. After wasting 45 mins of my time at the Granite location with this woman who was absolutely clueless, I then was at Big Bargins for an hour. Now these men were really trying to help but they did not know procedure. I had to ask regarding a discount for my wasted time and I spoke to another man on the phone and he gave me $30 discount. I would rather have had my truck at Granite as requested and not wasted so much of my time. Nobody called from the Granite or the Hickory branch to inform me of the change to begin with. The woman at the Granite location had informed me when I had reserved the truck that for $10 I could receive a utility dolley and 6 blankets. Well when I got there she told me that she had been wrong and she did not bother to call me about that either ahead of time. Neither location knew anything about Uhaul procedure. This was very aggravating. Also, the truck was dirty inside the cab and in the back. Very very poor experience!

At 4PM on December 27th there was nobody at this location even though the website said open till 5PM. Nobody answered the phone and the place was empty. We were not able to formerly turn in the truck. We dropped the key in the box and left. I am charge anything further I will dispute the entire charge. No impressed.

Unit was reserved for another location. Went to this location and waited 5 minutes before being acknowledged. When I was greeted I was told there was no one there who could process my rental, someone would have to be called in. I explained I completed all information about drivers online. Then I was told " we will have to call Sal". I spoke to "Sal" who had to wait for his computer to log on. By now I had been there for 30 minutes. Sal emailed me a contract which was not signed by anyone, I was told I was all set. I will not rent from this location again.
