Electronic signature pad was not operable, as was the printer. My father in law wanted a paper copy but was unable to get it. Limited parking even for small trailers, but this all seems to be the norm for U-Haul as of late.frank D.

THE DROP OFF LOCATION ALTHOUGH WAS THE CLOSEST TO MY NEW HOME AND WAS MY PREFERENCE TO DROP OFF IS A GROCERY STORE AND THE UHAUL REPRESENTATIVE/OWNER OF THE GROCERY STORE DID NOT WANT TO ACCEPT MY RETURN. THERE WAS A SYSTEM CHANGE THAT ARBITRAIRILY CHANGED MY DROP OFF. THUS TOOK PLACE WHILE WE WERE OUT OF SERVICE ON MY WIFE'S PHONE WHICH WE DID NOT CHECK. BESIDED THIS POINT I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO BE SHUTTLE DRIVING THE UHAUL FLEET AROUND AND OUT OF MY WAY ALMOST AN HOUR. IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT I DRIVE THIS UNIT TO SPRUCE GROVE, DEVON, LEDUC OR WESTSIDE??? ANYWHERE BUT WHERE I REQUESTED AND CONFIRMD TWICE. THE CALMAR REPRESENTATIVE CALLED ANOTHER PERSON (STUART) ON THE PHONE AND THE INDIVIDUAL (STUART) WHILE ON SPEAKER PRECEEDEDTO CALL ME A PART OF THE MALE BODY I PREFER NOT TO REFERENCE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAD SAID THAT MY CHARGE FOR SHUTTLING UHAUL TRUCKS AROUND THE PROVINCE IS EXPENSIVE. MY WAGE AS A MANAGER IS ARPPOX. $100-$150/HOUR. AT THAT POINT THE CALMAR REPRESENTATIVE STATED YELLING OBESCENITIES A ME IN FRONT OF ANOTHER CUSTOMER AND MY RIDE. I LEFT THE KEY AND TOLD THE CLAMAR REPRESENTATIVE THAT I DIDN'T NEED TO TAKE THE VERBAL ABUSE AND PERSONAL ATTACK. I TOLD HIM THAT THIS WAS NOT PERSONAL AND THIS MUST BE A SYSTEM ERROR OR GLITCH. THE TRUCK WAS PAID FOR IN FULL, HAD MORE FUEL THAN WHEN I PICKED IT UP AND IT WAS CLEANED INSIDE, MORE CLEAN ON THE EXTERIOR (DUE TO A RAIN SHOWER) THA NWHEN I PICKED IT UP. ALSO, RETURNED WERE 12 MOVING BLANKETS THAT I HAD RENTED. I HAVE LODGED A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AND AM CONSIDERING MY OPTIONS AS TO WHAT COURSE TO TAKE NEXT WITH THIS ISSUE. BOTTOM LINE IS THA T LIVED UP TO MY END OF THE BUSINESS TRANSACTION BUT UHAUL AND THE UHAUL LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT AND I RECEIVED A PERSONAL ASSAULT AND VERBAL ABUSE THERFORE I NED TO KNOW HOW UHAUL WILL BE HANDLING THIS SITUATION TO BRING RESTITUTION TO ME AND OTHER FUTURE CUSTOMER'S.Stephen J.

The booking was set for pickup Friday, 5pm in Devon, returning Sunday morning. I was then contacted the week of my pickup and told it was wrong and would be for Saturday at 9am in Calmar, returning Sunday. My confirmation email ended up in my junk and I didn't receive the text confirmation. I received a call Friday from the Calmar depot saying that I needed to come get the vehicle on Friday or they would give it to someone else. I did the online check in and paid, then when I got to Calmar, I was told I needed to do it again and pay. I showed them the confirmation and the lady there said I needed to call Uhaul. I spent 20 minutes on hold, then went back into the depot where I spent another 40 minutes while the man that worked there tried to help me get it sorted. At the end, he did assist me with getting the truck keys and logged on and correcting the return address that was in the system and the incorrect charges associated with it; however, I spent over an hour dealing with the issues in the middle of moving and then had to get the truck back by 4pm on Saturday which was extremely difficult. The price was also WAY above what I was quoted at $39.95 per day $192.15 plus another $56 in fuel because we had to rush to return the truck. Nothing was as set up or quoted and it was extremely frustrating and stressful.Casandra S.

Have the trailer clean next time, be organized and not have me wait for almost an hour and a half for them to sort their side of things for paperwork. Only to tell me they will figure it out when I'm back to waste more of my time. Then try to over charge me by 40 dollars. Will never rent from this place again. What a headache.David C.
What's the point of going through the whole online process for pickup, entering credit card, uploading licence photos etc if the vendor doesn't have access to the information? I spent double the time to pickup the unit because I had to go through the same process twice. Pointless. Then to use the unit I had to scrape snow and ice off of it before I could move it. The rental process should have the unit ready to go when I get there. Very disappointed.M Wade B.

U-Haul verification call some one to check and make sure I am who I say I am is rude and a waste of time . You have a driver's license and credit card . This was a big stoping point for me . I have rented twice this year and I will find another way next time because of it.james B.

Very poor location as it was in a grocery store and the lady had to keep helping customers with their groceries while she was dealing with me. Also the Uhaul POS machine was not working so I had to pay with my debit card on their POS, which was really inconvenient as I was using for company purposes and wanted to use the company credit card.Tina L.

Location was good. Equipment was in very rough shape. Electrical cord to the truck I had to fix and use my electrical tape. Rear light was marked by uhaul as broken but not fixed, it fell out and was tangling on the trip again I had to fix or I would have lost the light. This was all after the trailer I reserved in drayton valley was rented out so I had to go out of way to get the damaged one.John P.
Language barrier and was waiting on site for an hour to get the equipment ready. There was massive confusion between the worker and head office. It worked out in the end but holy moly was it ever a pain! And the equipment was in poor condition. Taped on brake light (functional mind you) and one missing rubber chain tie down thing.rene B.

make dam sure the truck they ordered 3 weeks in advance is there. The run around and bullshit I was fed was Horrible. Owner to the food town in Calmar said they you delivered 0 truck to them when we new we received a confirmation text that it was there. Apparently he rented them out that morning. I was not a Happy camper! Then We got the run around from the person we spoke to at U-Hal. That never did call us back....poor service even poorer Management.cherly L.

There were some issues with the payment system that the lady at the counter did her absolute best to resolve. Eventually I wound up having to utilize an ATM that charged me extra for the withdraws necessary to pull out the cash to finish the rental transaction. However, while the fault seems to be either hardware or software related, the woman herself was very nice to deal with.Lars R.

The customer service at the Calmar location was awesome, however we were not please with how head office dealt with issues that came up. 1) The truck # on our paper work was not at the location and when head office was contacted "convienently" they were disconnected 3 times. 2) Finally after 50 minutes waiting for head office to fix the situation ( there were 2 truck at location...) we finally got a truck only to have the wrong mileage and that took more time to have Head Office fix that issue. All in all was unhappen with how Head Office dealt with the people at the Calmar location. I will say truck was clean.Dale H.

I'm VERY frustrated with my experience as I rented a 26' truck from the LEDUC location for a 10:00 pick up and ended up getting a 20' truck from Calmar. I booked this truck in advance because I was on a very strict schedule in which we needed the 26' truck at our LEDUC location for 10:30. When picking up the vehicle from the location I scheduled it from on line, they told me my vehicle was in Calmar. I then had to drive all the way to Calmar (making me late) and then they didn't even have the size of vehicle I booked. I then had to pay about 4 times the price because of the gas and mileage that racked up driving to and from Calmar. The location that I was going to was about 5 min from the Leduc office. I wasn't offered any compensation and didn't receive an email or phone call saying that my reservation had changed. I rent from uhaul often as we move sets back and forth for our productions and I cannot have this happen again. When dealing with theatre space, we only have a very small window to load in and load out. And I rent a specific size of truck because that's how big our set it.Candice F.
i reserved a trailers 2 weeks ahead of time in Edmonton and then they called me the day of and said they didn't have a trailer and sent me all around the city saying it was there when finally they found one in Calmar an hour outside the city. the man in Calmar was friendly however he really didn't know what he was doing and fumbled through the paperwork.kerri M.
