I reserved a 5x8 trailer and none were available when I went to pick it up. Had to rent a 6x12 and of course that cost more. Typical bait and switch. the u-haul "dealer" could hardly work the computer, I did half the entry to get checked out and his printer was broken so I got no receipt. Your web site should indicate whether rental locations are actual U-Haul stores or just some random pick up place.Debra R.

The man who was there at check in did not know how to connect the trailer- tried to send me out the way it was and if I had hit a bump, the trailer would have come off. Didn't have any tools, I tried to call you for a refund and go somewhere else, but your phone kept cutting off- Went to Sumpter tire and paid the guys $10.00 to rig the hitch so I use attach your trailer. The person renting to me didn understand how to process a credit card and was unwilling or unable to call for assistance. The rate quoted was not the rate he tried to charge me . I was finally able to speak with someone who understood .and acharged me an even better rate than I was originally quote, WE had the trailer returned within 4 hours and then I just noticed on my credit card I was charged an additional 160 dollars whivh I have called Visa about . I tried to talk to the rental people but the same manager wouldn't say anything except " Call U Haul". Somebody please call me.Robert S.

The location was convenient but the clerk did not speak good english and communication was a little difficult. We did get our business completed but it took a little longer than I expected.David W.
I had to help the gentleman lift the trailer onto my hitch and I'm a 63 year old woman. I selected no on all additional options, but was charged $8 for some type of insurance. The facility had no A/C, it's 90 degrees.Del H.

Took over 40 minutes to pick up my online order. I was the only customer at this location. I already uploaded my ID and credit card but they don't seem to know how to use technology and complained about commission multiple times. I never received any paperwork and when I got to NC the trailer number didn't match the contract that I was emailed. The trailer was also dirty on the inside.Douglas P.

After I picked up my 12x6 trailer from the pick up location at the Cherokee Trading Post in Florida, and loaded the trailer, I noticed a screw in one of the tires. I asked the proprietor if I could come by and get a new tire. He notified me that I could take to a tire shop or go for it. And if I had an issue on the road call UHaul roadside assistance. Needless to say, we had tire issues once we got on the road. A plug would not hold. The tire finally blew the sidewall out. And it cause us 4 hours to wait for roadside assistance. (Which was great once they arrived). I had preordered 12 blankets. Florida told me he did not write that up so I thought it best to just not push that. But I was charged anyway. He said he would email me my receipt and contract cause he did not have a printer. He never did.Jeff T.

Location appears to be out of business. I dropped the truck off on Sunday as scheduled. Nobody was around and I saw a for sale sign on the building. I got a call on Tuesday asking when I was going to return the truck. Apparently the owner had not bothered to check that it was sitting exactly where it was supposed to be. I would recommend that people use a different drop off location.Don R.
The place was closed because it was a Sunday which is fine but I returned the truck better than it was rented to me, I made sure that I put in extra gas. I understand I used 12 miles over the 50 and was charged for it but then I was also charged the $14.00 I already paid online for the insurance and also a $40.00 fee for the wrong location which was not the case and then of course this brings more taxes. The address and name to return the truck were on my contract and I even have pictures of the mileage, location, gas and me putting the contract in the Dropbox. I wrote them an email and they said they would get back with me and I have not heard anything else. Not happy.Amber A.

Went to location to drop off truck and trailer and the gentleman working there was clueless and not helpful. Had to return next day to complete and verify the return paperwork.WILLIAM A.
When I first arrived at the location,I found several uhaul trucks but the site appeared to be deserted and there was a for sale sign. I did find a drop-off box and dropped the key in the box. As I was waiting for my ride to show up, a man appeared asking if I was returning the truck. I gave him the info and he opened up the "office".He looked up the infoon the computer and said I returned the truck to the wrong location. I showed him the paperwork that stated I was at the designated drop-off location. I then had to assist him in moving the truck and I had to disconnect the car dolly myself.Gary P.
While the elderly gentleman at this location was not rude, he was not friendly and he seemed really behind the times and not computer savvy so we had to enlist corporate help. But the truly HORRENDOUS experience was at the location: Gosine Corp at 39900 County Rd 25 in Lady Lake, FL. He was about as rude as it gets and tried his best to get my husband to wreck the trailer into another trailer with his inept attempt to show his how to wedge into a tiny space that was impossible to fit into. When we told him it was impossible he told us to go F*CK ourselves and he didn't need our business. Horrible man. Horrible experience.jerry S.

The guy there has no idea what he's doing an couldn't speak English enough to figure out what was wrong. Had everything messed up an told me he would fix it an not to worry about it. Which he did not. An took over an hour an still it was all wrong. Then I go to pay him an he doesn't even have nine dollars for my change that I had to go get. An he charged me for the insurance which I always get an I don't think he paid it in. That is the only terrible experience I've ever had dealing with a uhaul dealer.JASON C.
Cancel Cherokee Trading Posts' license agreement to be a Uhaul representative. I reserved a 6x12 trailer online and pre checked in a day before pickup, when arriving to the location I was told by the person I believe to be the owner "I meant to call you, I rented the trailer to someone else, but they haven't arrived yet". To say the least I was very upset at this breach of contract and explained that I would report this to Uhaul, he then back peddled and said that he would rent the trailer to me. During the rental process he could not pull up any of my information from the online application. So he had to call the Area Manager for Uhaul to complete the process. Then after all of that he (Managet of Cherokee Trading Post) was incompetent when it came to hooking up the trailer, he did no running light/brake light or turn signal inspection. After everything was done I have to say it was the worst experience EVER!Todd T.

When I contacted the dealer I was directed to drop off the trailer at the location agreed to and directed in your e:mail I was told that they would not accept the trailer because they had too many of that size on their lot.. Over the next two hours I tried numerous u-haul locations in the area and was met with the same excuse ( too many trailers)...Don't bring it here....Fortunately, after wasting much time and no help from any of the locations, I was able to find a location ( The Trading Post) that would accept the trailer. Slavo was very helpful in accepting the trailer but couldn't complete the paperwork to close out the contract. He signed a paper saying he did receive the trailer. I have dealt with u-haul many times in the past but after this experience I am sorry that u-haul has a monopoly on rental trailers because I sure would go elsewhere..Lou H.
