The person showed up over an hour late. The keys were in his musty smelling office, so I couldn't do self check out. My husband and I spend over an hour being transferred to department after department trying to call people to figure out what was going on. When the guy finally showed up, he was more interested in saying hi to everyone in the shops rather than apologize to us. I thought he would at least be more apologetic for being over an hour late and making us stand in the sun, but no.Jessica J.

I had a reservation at U-Haul of University City (4857 Chestnut St Philadelphia, PA 19139) On 08/20/2022 at 9:00 am. I was 2 hours late to arrive the store and store stuff told me that my reservation has cancelled as i arrive two hours late and refused to provide vehicle. This is a very poor customer service. Never got a phone call from the store. After conversation with store stuff, I was trying to make to new reservation and found that reservation was still valid for 4857 Chestnut St Philadelphia, PA location. Unsure of where the office was located. Better signage would be helpful. Arrived at 11:45 am for noon pickup. The office door was closed with a note "be back in a few". The staff did not arrive until 12:30 pm. When I returned to the location, the door to the place was again locked. The woman that was supposed to be handling the site was outside chatting. Instead of going out to check the trailer, she had me go out and take pictures and come back in to show her the trailer number. Unprofessional lazy attitude location. I wouldn't use this location or recommend it to anyone in the future.JAMES M.

Was suppose to pick up the truck at 12pm, I arrived at 12;15, The agent at the location couldn't print out the paper work for us to sign. She was having trouble with the printer. She stayed on the phone with the someone from the company that was trying to help. Didn't received the truck till 2pm. And I see that they charge me a late fee for what was not my fault. I had the truck back at 5:pm. I should not have been charge for the company hold-up.Larry B.

Don't have the UHAUL pickup or drop off locations in a hookah facility because the smoke is bad for people's health !! The location was unprofessional and in an very uncomfortable environment setting !ANTHONY B.

Where to start. Called and reserved a car trailer 2 days before pickup date. Reservation made, said everything was ready to go. Got a call several hours later, trailer was NOT AVAILABLE. How do you reserve something that is physically not on the lot. Found us another trailer which was in New Jersey, and would require a toll fee to get. That's fine. The day of pickup we are half way to pick up the trailer and receive a call from rental place, trailer #2 isn't available either. "customer did'nt return it yet". GREAT. Call to Uhaul HQ. customer service found us one IN THE CITY THAT WE HAD ORIGINAL reservation. AMAZING.Anthony F.
