I think that the third party locations should be able to do more for you as far as customer service goes. I did not have a good experience and I was told to call the U-Haul customer service which started to cut into my rental time. The time it took to get a call back/ sit on hold was approximately 35 minutes. It turned out to be an issue with the location and how they made a mistake putting the truck into their system. Then my truck was released and I was treated poorly by the U-Haul employee and when I tried to reserve another day on the app for the truck it still said reserved when I had the truck in my possession. My concerns were addressed after waiting for my third call back from U-Haul because the other two were calls that were disconnected or dropped. Barbara helped me out and she was the only one that reassured me and talked to me kindly.Jamee D.

Notify the customer about the app service and not have them stranded in a different state making it difficult to get the keys. Also they do not need to ask for a lease ! U-Haul doesn't work for public housing !!Andres G.
I was late for an appointment after trying to pick up my truck. This is not a U-Haul store so the guys inside couldn't help, they just told me to call U-Haul customer service. I was then on the phone for 30 minutes trying to try different ways to get the code for the key box. Finally the lady figured it out by releasing it was something she had to do on her end. I was given a reduced rate due to the inconvenience of having to go to a non-uhaul location. When I went to complete my ordered it changed to the regular rate and charged me extra mileage. I ended up being charged triple what I was supposed to.Briana T.
As I found out too late, DG Nicholas has nothing to do with the rental of the truck. They gave me a phone number to call to get a code to open a lock box located on the site. No one picked at at that number. I then called the main U-Haul number and someone had to walk me through a long process to identify myself, the location, the truck. Then the extra equipment I ordered (dollys and blankets) was not in the truck. I had to go to another location to pick these up! The entire process to get the truck and equipment took over 90 minutes. I was not happy! When I made the reservation online the day before, there was no indication that this was a "lock box" site and that extra time would be required when picking up.Eugene H.

Business was very rude .Said its all done virtually and didn't help at all.He said go use your phone we don't do anything...Also truck was very dirty they wouldn't clean it. Don't use this location bc they don't care or even attempt to help customers.David W.
Truck was used by dog owner before me. Cab was covered in dog food and smelled of wet dog(to which im alergic.) Causing me to send the night in the hospital not being able to breathe. Took over an hour and a half to even get the truck because of "covid regulations " which weren't a thing at drop off location. Aux port was broken so I couldn't hear my gps the whole drive. Front suspension was so loose I felt like I was breaking my arms to keep it straight.Ryan M.

Your tie down straps should be adjustable also the eyes for the tie downs are to high for cars with low bumpers. a few adjustments would be nice.John R.

I reserved my rental using the online reservation process as recommended by the U Haul rep at the Blakeslee, PA location chosen as it was on my route of travel. The online process texted me an order confirmation which regrettably, i didn't review thoroughly. As a result, the pick up location was incorrect and I had a 13 mile backtrack to the Mount Pocono, PA location to pick up my rental. This added close to 45 additional miles to my traveling (both personal vehicle and rental) and took an hour out of my day . I requested a discount or a refund from the Pick up location DG Nicholas, but he said he wasn't authorized to discount my rental, even after he agreed that the pick up location was well outside of my travels. Any U Haul location should have the authority and ability to correct a situation and I am less then pleased that I had to pay for an additional 30 miles on the rental , additional gas to replace the fuel and additional mileage and time wasted that I cannot get back. I would like to speak to a representative with the authority to amend this debacle.Corey W.
