This site to pick up the truck was fine. The process to get a truck was horrible, just like the last time I used U-Haul. I am actually thinking of buying a truck since I have a trailer and just do things myself. Bad website, awful support, but always successful at wasting at least 4 hours of my day.Kenneth O.
We scheduled the van rental online to be picked up at 9:00 a.m. When we arrived, we were told that it could not be rented until 11:00 even though the van was parked at the location and the clerk was available (the same clerk who checked us in two hours later). This was the worst experience I have ever had with a rental company.Employee's were not knowledgeable or helpful. Could not answer my questions,or would not. Over charged me on gas. Uhaul states that a ten foot box truck gets 12 miles per gallon. I went 43 miles, put in $15.oo worth of gas @2.89 per gallon and when I received my receipt from uhaul they had charged me with an additional 8 gallons of gas. I had put in 5.19 gallons, they said they put in 8 gallons, so it took 13.19 gallons to go 43 miles. Dosent add up?? Thats 3.09 miles per gallon. Shame on me for not making First Choice Citgo verify the gas when I took the truck as well when I took it back. I would very much like to hear from uhaul, which I never expect to . Warning to others,make any one fill the vehicle in your presence and when you return it make them witness you filling it up, and verify to you that it is full. Also I do not like not being able to get a paper receipt when truck is returned. Never again will I rent from this company.William B.

24/7 pickup is a f***ing joke..... absolute waste of time if you need to reach out to customer support or deal with the web page at all. Better off waiting for the location to open and go in person then fool with the online mess. Read this and make the changes for future people so they too aren't stuck wasting all of a morning trying to get a damn truck.Jordan S.

Trouble with app logging off and not saving images, delays, conflicting instructions (i.e. call/wait to be called). Heavy stench of smoke in truck. Citgo staff were wonderful, helpful, professional, and efficient.Colleen C.

Milage rates are too high especially for the larger vehicles on the weekend. I've heard others say they will borrow a truckm or trailer rather than pay that high milage rate for weekends. Lower it and I'm sure your revenues could increase. I rented a pickup but my son needed a bigger truck. $1.29/ mile is a bit high for weekend usage. Other than that my experience was fine.Alfred W.
Ok so UHAUL can look over my rental start to finish & verify that there were multiple problems ... The pick uptime scheduled for 8:30p.m. at one location was changed w/out my prior knowledge to 8:00p.m. at a different location - i was opted for the pick up vehicle after location has closed - the owner of that location told me at 830 that Uhaul closes at 8:00 & i couldnt have a rental until the next morning - she was not very pleasant at all to me - i was only asking her what to do if the internet check in wasnt working properly & was told there was no such thing & that i needed to leave ( verifiable by security camera at location ) i called customer service ( C.G. ) was Very helpful ... My reservation got a $50 credit for not being available & rescheduled @a different location - the next morning that location had no rental available so i should have gotten another $50 reservation guarantee credit ( which i did not ) & was rescheduled again at the other location - eventually ( after having multiple rides arranged to get to all these reservation appts ) i did get a rental ... Attempting to return the rental AGAIN the location would not assist me because Uhaul closes at 8 & the online return procedure would not function for me ( i could drive 100 yds away from the location & it would work but i wasnt at the location any longer for the gps to confirm - this leads one to believe the location uses a signal scrambler or block to prevent web access ) AGAIN i call customer service & explain ( representative T.D. was most excellent as well ) and they handled my return for me . Customer service over the phone was excellent !! HOWEVER... Uhaul , you are the #1 rental company in the world ok , never & i mean under no circumstance period should any customer have to wait for a customer rep to take their call - this is simply inexcusable & you should be ashamed - i waited on hold both calls for approx 30 mins for my call to be taken - either you have THAT many issues that need resolved OR you are THAT short staffed ... There is just no justifying either & you should know that simple fact ... Get it together Uhaul !!! & I confirmed the definition of guarantee which Uhaul did not meet ( twice!!!) so i should receive $100 credit - on my final invoice i did not even see one reservation credit let alone the 2 i am entitled to by Uhaul's guarantee ... Again i say to Uhaul , get it together !!! And REWARD your customer service agents because they deserve it !!!Nathaniel C.

The Employee/Lady who handled my contract was amazing. When I went to pick up my reserved Trailer it was not available. It had been returned to the wrong location and the agent at that location did not check it back in properly either. That location was closed so then I was left without the needed rental. She took care of my needs and honored your contract by renting me a little larger trailer that was available so I was not left without anything. It took her an hour to get all the needed errors with Uhaul fixed so I so I could have a trailer and the whole time she was kind and patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone.Kelly C.

The Uhaul representative was extremely courteous, effective, and helpful upon literally no notice of me requiring to rent a truck that day! Due to the extreme heat I needed to extend the rental for one day, which also was no problem and solved over a quick phone call less than 2hrs before the original rental contract was up! When I called reservations (not the rental location), they assured me that a queen bed would fit in a cargo van. That is true, but it only fits sideways, which means you can't really fit any additional items beyond the bed. That would have been good to know.Megan S.

I'm dearly certain they ripped me off! I know for a fact I traveled less then 60 miles, yet was billed for just enough to return none of my money! When I first went in after ordering online, they tried to bill me 59.99 for the truck instead of 29.99! I called them on that, then they billed me for a dolly which never received! Somehow had me traveling almost 90 miles which wasn't true but because I'm disabled and my son's were driving I couldn't verify by the time the guy came back out to give me my change. I won't use this location again, not will use uhaul again until they have a better tracking system to help the people from being ripped off!Thomas C.

This location was disorganized and unprofessional. It took me at least 30 minutes trying to return the vehicle, most of that sitting around waiting for the owner to arrive because the lady working didn't know how (she was nice, though, just not trained or something). Then, I wanted to put some gas in and they are a gas station - the owner said to just pull up to a pump and leave it....None of the 6+ pumps worked, they were ALL out of order. So, another 10-15 minutes to run to another gas station. Way more of a hassle than any other rental I've done. Also, the Uhaul online check-in system was useless and a waste of time.Malia F.

Clean out the cab! The cup holders were full of liquid and it was sticky all over. Also smelled of cigarettes-butts we're still in the ash tray. It was disgusting and we ended up cleaning it ourselves.Geoffrey F.
