Surprised to be charged a $ 25 cleaning fee, I cleaned-out the van beforehand and didn't expect this charge after I had left the van and received the charge by e-m later in the day. I'll be going elsewhere next time !
MICHAELJAMES H.Outrageous, the person who took my credit card Toby would be a $54 charge. It ended up being a hundred and some dollar charge. They were rude. They were unprofessional. They didn't tell me that there was an after-hours drop off charge. They were unprofessional about getting the information to try to check out myself. Absolutely outrageous. You should not do business with this group of people.

LON S.The agents at this location made my rental so incredibly unsafe and frightening that I am requesting a full refund. The agents delayed my pickup but refusing to answer my phone calls and return my messages. Then when I went to pickup my trailer the agent acted threatening by screaming and waving his arms around before i could open the hatch of my car to pull out my wiring. This incited my dog to react because of the agent's threatening manor, further causing fear and stress to me. This location should be closed down and the agents in site should be investigated for proper interactions with customers. Finally, I was given a trailer with a nearly flat tire, in my opinion, to attempt to punish me for complaining (10 foot pounds of pressure when I tested the tire. Dangerously low. The agent couldn't even pull the trailer put manually because of the low tire.) I am pursuing legal action against these individuals.
Julianne P.The trailer that we rented had a broken light system on the right, so none of the lights on that side worked. The man working that morning said that they worked the day before, so it must be our vehicle with the issue. It wasn't until we got to our destination and opened the back that we saw the tangle of disconnected wires from the right lights -- which clearly had not been checked the day before. He may have also been able to help us troubleshoot more had he not been the only one working, trying to be in several places at once -- which was certainly not his fault. Overall, not great.
steven S.It had a drop box. When asked if the truck was clean for the next family I said no. So you charged me 25. That should be included in the price because you should clean the trucks. That would be a good time to inspect the trucks to make sure they are actually road worthy.

David N.Please fix / replace the windshield, the wiper blades, check the tire pressure and ensure the car is washed and cleaned (inside and out) after each rental. There is a car wash, as well as OReilly & Auto Advance Auto Parts stores 1000 m from the Golden convenience store location. Please ensure the “Return/ Check In†app works properly for customers, specifically “Location†to enable a customer to complete the process on site.
John M.I recommend that the inside and outside of the van being after each customer's usage. The crack in the windshield should addressed promptly; it signifies that the van is not being maintained properly. The windshield wipers also need to be replaced as they do not functionally properly in cleanly removing dirt from the windshield to foster proper visibility and safe driving.

My original confirmation had the store I chose but another email with an attachment had a different store. So my husband drove to the location I chose originally and was told he didn't have it scheduled to drop off there.

Phil C.When I picked up the vehicle, I was not told check the condition of the vehicle. I received one text and several e-mails after I had left the lot instructing me to do that inspection. I don't check text or e-mail while driving. The vehicle had two warnings on dashboard. 1 Low Tire and Low on windshield wiper fluid. When I returned the vehicle I was told that mileage would be checked in 25 minutes and I would receive a receipt. I never received a receipt. Overall, this did not feel like a professional operation.
Verney G.I was overcharged for mileage. This is UHaul's fault, especially because the UHaul app is AWFUL and I was not able to upload my mileage photo. This is not the fault of the employees at this location though. But I would really like a refund for the mileage overcharge.
Jennifer C.You would think that the U-Haul drop-off locations would have someone to help take off the tow dolly. There was nobody there to do this for us, so after a very long drive for two days, my son had to crawl under the dolly and get on his back (ON THE DIRTY PAVEMENT) to try to figure out how to undo the chains, etc. The whole experience was just a tiring hassle, and the main U-Haul representative in the town where we arrived wasn't helpful at all .

We had to switch trucks when our move changed from local to long-distance but they were very helpful in closing out this contract and opening another. Unfortunately, we had to transfer all of the items from one truck to the other. While the location is not ideal (small older convenience store) they were open on Sunday and for that, I was VERY grateful. The staff is friendly and helptul.

MARK T.DC1111T was literally the worst vehicle I have ever driven. The truck sways 1/2 a lane on its own and with no reason. It needs to be taken out of service and repaired immediately. The truck barely started, thankfully I was only using it locally. The manager also lied on the return report, the vehicle had nearly 3/4 of a tank when I returned it. Thus the $28 fuel charge is not okay. I have already disputed this with my CC company. My Uhaul experiences have gotten worse and worse through the years. Consider this my last rental unless you can fix this truck and refund the fuel discrepancy. Seriously it was a horrible vehicle and experience. I am pissed to say the least.
Michael C.Pick up process took longer than I expected - waited at front of the store for what seemed like 10-15 minutes while agent worked in the back room to prepare for my pick-up (Reservation had been made on line). Then, later, I received at least 10 redundant email messages regarding the contract and U Haul services.

Initially, the worker commented to me he had no space for my car dolly even though my paperwork directed me to this location for turn in. Ultimately he came outside and took the dolly. He had plenty of room for this item. I had to ask for a turn in receipt which he supposedly emailed to me. I still have not received the receipt but I took photos of the dolly parked at this location to prove I turned it in. They need more staff at this location apparently.
