We had so many problems 1st last minute change of pickup after booking for a month. 45 minutes out of our way. Then driver left only to turn around something was wrong with the truck. Big granite stones lodged in between tires no one to fix it it would be 2 hr delay. My driver after and hour fixed it himself. The store owner was great and helpful it was not his fault. By now we are so far behind schedule pickup 730am he got to our house 1130. Unexpectable! Not sure if we will ever use uhaul again. I feel there should have been some compensation.

Trailers need to be equipped with a trailer jack. These trailers are heavy and mechanical assistance is needed to prevent an accident.

check the tires I had a blow out as they had tire rot. Make sure all knows the fender folds down. I had to use boards to drive on to raise my corvette above the frame. I have a new Tahoe with the round wire harness and needed the adaptor for the older 4 prong connection. Would have been good to know all this when I booked the reservation.

The UHaul website has inaccurate information about what is available at your locations. Get that information correct and your customers (like me) will have a better experience.

I reserved a 17 ft truck. Arrived and was told it wasnt available. I went with the larger option but not too happy nobody called or notified me. I should have been offered the larger truck FOR THE SAME RATE. The 15 ft was way too small. I also drove the truck the entire time AFTER it was loaded with the oil light on and just before I was going to get gas the check engine light came on. I did not put gas in because I just wanted to get rid of the truck. Overall, the rental location was decent and the gentlemen was nice and gave me good customer service but the truck itself was not as expected. Thankfully my move didnt require much driving. Picking up was easy and the drop off was after hours which was awesome.

Hate to wait an additional 2 hours just to get my uhaul because it wasn’t at the location after I received a text the night before stating they moved my location. I will never use uhaul again. I got a $30 refund which isn’t good enough for all the time I wasted waiting around.

These trailers are ridiculously heavy and the tongue adapter used (to fit any ball size?) is difficult to use. Without a jack wheel, it takes at least two people to disconnect the trailer. Regardless of load, it bounces and bangs around throwing around a 8,000lb truck. I wont be renting this trailer again due to it being overbuilt, and such a unnecessary tongue connection. Please just go to a lighter trailer option with a 2" ball coupler!

We had the ‘service engine soon’ light come on but it got us back. Location told us to drive it back from Illinois and it drove fine. I wish we could have rented later in day Sunday so we didn’t have to pay for 2 days. We would have rented it about 4:00 on Sunday and returned by 2:00 Monday. Please consider giving a little leeway if location is not open on Sundays.

Maintain your equipment, ramp bracket bolts were so corroded that if I didn’t have access to impact wrench I would not have been able to deploy the loading ramps... also I broke a 1/2 inch drive 3/8 inch socket trying to loosen the bolts! Not a cheap socket, Snap-on!

Hooked up the trailer by myself. I signed the paperwork and the guy didn’t come out when we hooked up. The door from the trailer had an issue from the start. When we reached our destination the door fell off the trailer just missing my daughters foor

The contract stated the tank was full of gas. When we finished I went to top off the tank, it took 7 gals. of full for a 7 mile trip ($23 exvtra). Make sure tanks are full before you leave. Don't assume that the gauge is off or that they know that it is not. Speak up and make them either change the contract or fuel the vehicle. Next time I'll use Penske or Ryder.

Guaranteed reserved equipment was not available (26' Truck) so they could only provide me with a 10' truck. They indicated that they would make sure that any additional charges due to needing to take more trips would be adjusted. They did not live up to their word and only adjusted me for partial of the increased expenses. I ended up having to pay more money than the 26' rental, it took 3 times as long, and the truck did not have a ramp so it took way more effort. I am still waiting to hear back from Corporate UHual about resolution on this matter and it has been 2 weeks.

drop off point information for truck was very difficult to get. I could get the information I needed until I was finished using truck. I would like to plan my moving day completely before I pick truck up. drop off point needs to be clearly defined with out the customer finding information needed.

They change my rental from a 20 to a 4 hr rental and charge me EXTRA! I will NEVER rent from them again!! I would like someone from Uhal to call me and discuss this. Because the Owner of this location need customer service training. I have know clue what type of SCAM that guy is trying to pull!!!

They could do a walk around on the truck so you know where the gas tank is located, make sure the vehicle is clean, show you the basic operation of the vehicle.

The U-Haul manager at this site was VERY helpful. She even came in after hours on a Saturday in order to accommodate my needs. The vehicle was clean and easy to drive. I just wish it had been easier to climb into the cab and get into the back. Otherwise, my overall experience was very good.
