The people there were friendly and helpful. The truck was ready to go and they took time to explain all directions for returning the truck. When the truck was returned, I didn't realize that I would have to take pictures of the odometer, etc. so I locked the truck and put the keys in the box before I realized this. Even though it was after hours, one of the people was still there and he was nice enough to open the box so I could get the keys back out and finish checkin process. I would definitely use their services again and would recommend them highly.

There was a bag that was supposed to have 6 furniture pads in it. There was not any there! We had to make sure to tell the drop off location that it was empty when we picked it up! Our tire blew out (it was a retread) about 200 miles into our trip! Tried to call for roadside assistance and no answer! Answer phone! (well over 30 minutes Waiting for someone to answer! and an hour for the person that was supposed to come fix tire.) Not everybody has a smartphone that can do online help! So answer phone! Sat along roadside for 5 hours waiting for help!

Wasted all my miles picking up and dropping off the truck and being charge 50+ dollars because y'all changed the location on me three hours before pickup. U-Haul's fault. People at the store were nice. Not happy at all. Boooooooooo!!! Oh, there was blue house paint in the bed of the truck that got on my furniture too.

The three staff unapologetically did not wear masks during a pandemic despite a state mandate to wear face coverings in public. “If you're not comfortable, you can take your business somewhere else.” I recommend you follow his advice.

Since you are only going there to either pickup or drop off a rental, you are not there for the ambiance. The people who work there are very nice and friendly.

They didn't have the equipment I ordered on the truck. Then they didn't have it available and I had to use what they had. They said it wasn't on the reservation and later found a second res for the equip and it may have been the girl that took my order. I ordered everything on the same phone call. I don't know who screwed up but it this shouldn't have happened.

Let people know about the online return process when booking is made. It took way longer to do than it should have. The website kept saying it couldn't verify my location even though my phone settings were correct and wouldn't let me proceed. My daughter finally got it to go through but it took about 15 minutes or more.

I went online with the app and entered my DL & Payment information to "speed up the check-in" process and had to do it all over again when I went to go pick up the trailer, whats the point if I have to do it again when I go pick up the equipment? Communication was a huge huge issue here we broke down a mile out of exit 50 our truck was over at the garage getting fixed we had to rent a U-Haul to get back home which was 3 hours away and then once my truck got fixed we were going to drive all the way back to Ocean Springs get the truck dropped you hello and come home and be on our merry way however it did not work out this way we went to her U-Haul which we had to go back and forth to the store because she wouldn't take cash and I mean it didn't make any sense to me because it was supposed to been $20 a day and she's charging me $75 a day well we had just enough money to rent it for a week cuz it was going to get fixed in a week anyways so we get back home mind you there was a deposit have deposit take approximately $290 okay we only had it two days I only drove it a hundred miles so today's a hundred miles you no deposit there we're going to go ahead and you know continue on with another we call them up tell them about that at 1 800 U-Haul and they say no problem but one problem is is that when I spoke to them and made the reservation I told her we wouldn't be back until Monday why would we come on a Sunday okay bring it back on Monday and you know it would be at our truck well that's not the way it ended up working because the truck was done so I called on Monday and I told them it's not done is it okay if I keep it till Friday they said yes so I kept it till Friday and then I call them again and I talk to a boy the guy said I talked to a female my back and then after I got done talking to the female that I talk to another female last week I talked to an older female I told her it's still not done just they keep adding on and adding on but now they tell me they're not even going to be able to do it they don't have the equipment to do it so far and almost a month I've had this U-Haul that I had to rent and pay $20 a day according to the contract now I was prepared to pay these people Friday this last friday today is the 14th of October prepared to give them $1,000 for a van it's Alex using it but she said it was only eight hundred what great I was happy everything was great I can arrest at the next day because I had put an ncic out on that van I'm in jail for 24 hours it cost me $1,000 to get out was I able to pay you hold their money no secondly when they arrested me they decided to have the van towed everything that was in my truck in Ocean Springs all my work equipment being an owner of a business I needed to make sure I had it out of there so I could pay for my truck to get done so I can pay for the U-Haul to be paid for the month of renting this was a whole complete nightmare by the way so I want you know having people cooperate with me through my nightmare would have been amazing and you know what the what if you have people were amazing I didn't talk to the other people get another call me they didn't leave messages I didn't get any anyway like I said I was always corresponding with

The tongue on those trailers are heavy. It would be nice if there was some help when hooking up the trailer yourself. No help was provided.

The staff was helpful. That the appliance dolly I reserved was not available was most disappointing. A pawn shop is not the best location to pick up a rental, but Jerry's Shootin' Irons gun and pawn shop was most convenient for me.

I reserved a van this morning for pickup within the hour and requested a mobile check-in. The website prompted me to call a sales rep. The sales rep called to advise that the location would need 10-15 minutes to get the keys in the van. I arrived at the pickup 30 minutes later but the clerk was arriving when I did. I told her I just need the key and would use the smart phone check-in/return. She insisted that she had to have my drivers license and credit card. She would NOT give me the keys and allow me to use the text apps. I even stated, "Just to clarify; this location doesn't allow 24/7 checkin". She said, "We do. And if I had time to get the keys in the van, we would've just emailed your receipt" SO....why couldn't she just hand me the keys (as though they were in the van) and allow me to use (what would've been) convenient smart phone process. Also, I reserved the van and elected to use my own insurance. The quote on my email even stated that I was responsible for any damage. When I returned the van, I noticed that she had charged me the additional $10 for coverage. I asked her to correct it since the I refused that coverage. She said, "No, it's required when you rent a van" What? The van is probably one of the least expensive vehicles available...but I was too frustrated to continue to argue. I only rented the van to pick up large boxes from the local Lowe's. I literally used the van for 35 minutes and under 20 miles. I would NOT have rented this if I'd know the expense. I even called the Sales Rep back to complain (228-233-6423). He said, "Let me see what I can do and Ill call you back". I haven't heard from him. I've used UHaul quite a bit in the past year but I will never return to this location. Horrible customer service!
