Even though my contract said to return the trailer by 6pm, the location was closed at noon. However, I didn't know that. There wasn't a sign up saying it was closed. I could hear a woman's voice inside the building but no one opened the door or answered the phone. We finally pulled in an unhitched the trailer and someone came out and said he wouldn't charge me the $20 after hours fee. Even though I had no way of knowing it was after hours. It was 1pm. He wasn't helpful or nice at all. It was a strange interaction.Elizabeth S.

We scheduled with a U-Haul dealer almost 5 miles closer to our home, and just a couple days before, our reservation was inexplicitly changed to the much farther location. Very disappointing, especially when we drove past the location we originally wanted and there was a 15 ft truck sitting there the whole 2 days we rented the truck. Won't us U-Haul again as this was inconvenient for the plans we had made.Micheal V.

This is not for the Drop Off Location but the online reservation, etc. I was told that my location for returning the truck was in Denver when I first chose and later found it to be in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I spent hours on the phone trying to get things straight.Larry L A.

The open sign was flashing but the door was locked. There was no phone number listed to call someone. I felt ill at ease just leaving the trailer without checking in with someone. I did the online check in but I never got an email confirmation or anything.Stacy R.

Give correct information. I needed to rent a car hauler with a winch. I was told by one employee (at a different location) that there would be a car hauler with a winch available at this Pleasant Grove location. When I arrived to pick it up, i was told that they don't have a car hauler with a winch. It was difficult to get the non working car onto the hauler without one.Brian W.
We had a mishap on our end and had to change last minute from 24/7 to pick up in store. The owner stayed 20 minutes after close to help us get the rental. I would highly recommend this location. Great customer service, really saved our bacon and the truck itself was in great condition and the return was super easy.Arianna T.

The only challenge I had was that the parking lot was sloped. When you drop off the trailer after hours, it wants to roll and there were no tire blocks available to keep the trailer from rolling. I had to find some concrete bricks to work as my blocks.JAMES G.

This location is closed, but that information was not presented to me at any point in the process until I got to the location. I needed additional materials and was not able to buy/rent them at the time of pickup because they were closed. Additionally, I had rented some packing blankets and they were not in the truck at the time of pickup, but nobody was there to rent them to me so I had to drive to a different location. I dropped the truck off after hours on a Saturday evening. Then several days later I receive an email showing I had been charged a $25 cleaning fee. I personally swept out the cargo area of the truck including the cab over area. I then personally cleaned, dusted and swept out the cab. This truck was completely clean and in much better shape than when I picked it up. I'm very angry that a uhaul facility would intentionally rip me off for $25 especially when the vehicle was returned in such good condition! I had also been told that there would be a storage unit reserved for me at the drop off location with the 1st months rent for free. Well, guess what? This location only has outdoor RV spaces for rent. So I had to scramble to find a storage unit on my own and of course pay for first months rent. So overall I feel that you guys cost me well over $150 for the cleaning fee and lost first months rent!! I actually hope that someone reads this and responds to my complaint!!! Russ JohnsonRUSSELL J.

You phone service was weird. The guy who took my info took my card and I still had to pay onsite, set me up for a truck in Roosevelt when I needed it in pleasant grove. And was basically pushing me off the phone. I had to keep saying wait wait wait and ask another question. I'm glad I found the mistake or it would behave been bad news for us. So just that but once it was figured out it all went so smoothlyDustin D.

I don't think you should give people the option of where to pick up a vehicle if you are going to send them to the second location anyway and when I went to pick up my truck at the second location I waited over an hour for the business to open and it never did open. There were four people waiting to get the rentals and as far as I know a solution was never reached I had to be routed to a store 20 minutes further away and I didn't arrive back home before my movers had already been there. Such a waste of time I will not be using U-Haul services againJaclyn R.

Make sure the equipment is well maintained and fully functional. This U-HAUL was a nightmare to operate. I almost got into 3 accidents, because the transmission wouldn't disengage. I will never use U-HAUL again.Daniel F.

Had to call more than 10 times before someone answered the phone so I could confirm my pickup as per the u-haul text message. The voicemail box was full so I couldn't leave a message. Showed up 3 minutes before the agreed upon pickup time and the place was a ghost town. An employee did come out eventually and the pickup went fine, but he wasn't particularly professional.Elliott P.

The guy running this place is awful. The office stank of marijuana and he refused to answer the phone before and after I picked up the trailer (he would even resort to hanging up the pone on me), and I could not leave a voice message. His drop off instructions were awful, and making the initial reservation took over 15 minutes, due to him very slowly explaining things and not having reasonable answers to my questions.michael W.

Location is too small, cramped and unorganized both inside and out. The staff is not helpful and was rude. The crew outside literally stood and watched me unhook the trailer and offered zero assistance. Worst U-Haul experience ever. This does not seem to be an isolated event, as the experience was similar about a month ago when returning equipment at his location.JAMES J.
