John was horrible. He did nothing but cuss and talk bad about U-Haul and how they are a horrible company. The car hauler I rented had a bad jack on it so I had to use my own floor jack to get it on and off the hitch. John did not want to help me with this and he even said I don't know how you will get this off and I don't care. I would never use him again or recommend him to anyone.NICHOLAS S.

The guy at the desk was kind of an ass. I was late, yes. But I apologized and explained that my tardiness was unavoidable. His response was to the effect of everybody who's late has an excuse. People are late picking up their equipment here 9 times out of 10 and you're no different. I can't speak to the other customers. I doubt they actually called ahead to tell the guy they were running behind but I did, out of courtesy. The least he could have done was be nice or shut up about the fact that I was late like all his other customers. I currently, serve in the military and punctuality is of the utmost importance to me. I never plan to be late for anything but sometimes, stuff happens.Michael K.

There were cigarettes filling the ashtray in the truck that were not emptied. Therefore the truck smelled like an ashtray. I had to empty it myself. The truck itself struggled badly in reverse and on idle at stop lights and signs. I was worried the entire time that it would stall on me.Matt M.

Mobile pick up did not work at all. Showed up on a Sunday at 8am, went through the mobile pick up process and it did not work. Then I had to call uhaul who did not open until 9am. Once 9am hit they had to transfer me on the phone 3 times before I spoke to the right person. Then they had to manually give me a code to get into the key box to get my truck. Waisted an hour and a half waiting to get my truck so I could start moving because the mobile pick up was flawed. I was not the only one who had this issue as two others had to call in when I was there.Shawn L.

This location was fine but it was 30 mins away from my original booking spot. Uhaul changed my pickup location the day before my rental. This is not acceptable. If you are allowed to make a reservation at a certain location, then the equipment needs to be available there . I also reserved a dolly and when I checked was told that no dolly was available .lauren R.

**PLEASE READ. WORTH THE WARNING. TRUST ME.** ABSOLUTELTY THE MOST RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. AND THATS REALLY SAYING SOMETHING. We arrived quite shaken with a big complaint- AN UNCAPPED NEEDLE FILLED WITH HEROIN BEING FOUND IN OUR UHAUL, ALONG WITH A PILL CAPSULE OF MORE HEROIN IN THE CUP HOLDER, AND TWO UNDER THE SEAT. My boyfriend is a recovered addict of 7 years. Seeing this caused him great emotional distress. I am pregnant. If I would have touched it. It would have endangered my child and I. My mother drove due to me being unable to get up into the truck. If she were to be pulled over she would currently be in prison. THIS WAS A HUGE LIABILITY PLACED ON ALL THREE OF US AND WAS EXTREMELY TRAUMATIZING!! We arrive to return the truck. Without making eye contact walking directly between my partner and I, no expression whatsoever, the man in charge/only employee: "keys in it?". Red flag number one. My mother likes to joke sound and is very happy and cheerful most occasions. She filled the tank more than a quarter tank- a half actually. She lightheartedly through giggles asked about a reimbursement for the gas she had payed for and didn't use, clearly joking. He snap]ped back "no?" with OBVIOUS attitude. It made me sick. We proceed inside to make the payment. My boyfriend let's this man know about what we had experienced and asked what can be done, clearly this was INFURIATING to all three of us. This man avoided eye contact, did not even acknowledge my boyfriend, then started reading numbers to himself- blatantly ignoring him when he's already extremely upset. He again asked what can be done because it was ridiculous, and he interrupts my boyfriend with the most careless attitude word for word: " well there's nothing I can do about that. Call uhaul" Would not even give us the phone number to call until my mother asked. My mother has comprehension issues and he was very blatantly rude with her as well for not just automatically knowing a phone number. At this point my boyfriend stormed out, to which in the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER, AS IF WE WERE GOING TO AGREE WITH HIM, says "pfft. Whatever dude." I was so beyond taken aback I left and waited outside for my mother. When she returned, she informed us this man tried to backtrack and say the needle and contents were insulin I have plenty of friends, including my father and my dog, that need insulin shots and have diabetes. My boyfriend is a recovered addict. He knows what it looks like. He blatantly tried to lie after giving us the most rude and disrespectful interaction I've ever seen in customer service. I am extremely hesitant to EVER Use Uhaul again. This was so upsetting. What a shame. The quickest way Uhaul will lose valued customers is this location and this personnel. DO NOT GIVE THIS DEALER YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR BUSINESS.Kari B.
I had rented 5 dozen moving pads but they were not in the truck when I picked it up. This was a major inconvenience as we had to call around to find moving pads from a Uhaul store that was open, wasn't too far out of the way, and had pads to rent so we could protect our furniture.Christopher P.

The place was dark and not lit up. I barely could find it. And the lot I had to leave it at was pretty dark and scary at 2:30am! Needs more lights and a security camera maybe for safety. Also the sign for the drop off box was small.Karen E.

This went far beyond bad customer service. The man working at this location was SO unnecessarily rude and angry. It was shocking and upsetting to be treated the way he treated us. He created an extremely unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this location.Sydney S.

The online check-in app did not work. I waited "on hold" for more than 30 minutes to get help. After I got my key, I was called by the owner at John's Service telling me I did not complete the pick up process and I needed to return. I told him I completed the process with U-Haul. He suggested I call U-Haul. Another 30 hold and I was told the process was complete. When I returned the truck, the app didn't work again. I called U-Haul and the hold time was more than 60 minutes! I dropped off the key and waited for a return phone call. It's been more than 24 hours and no call back. John's Service sent me a receipt and charged me for items I did not request. Long wait times, threatening phone calls and over-charged for the rental. U-Haul and John's Service are bad business. This customer is upset and feels ripped off.THAD J.

Your after hours pick up and drop off is very difficult to navigate! Fortunately the owner was still there and was able to help, otherwise we would not been able to get the keys from the box. Something that had been very user friendly has been made very difficult.JoAnn S.

I dropped of the U-Haul a day early and there was nobody there to speak with. I was charged an extra day. I expected someone to be present at 10:00 am. There is a drop box on the building at the top of the hill and all the vehicles are parked on a dirt road at the bottom of the hill.CEDRIC ALAN H.

It took me 45 minutes to get my truck due to not being able to log in and go through the 24/7 pick up process. Some how my reservation was not properly done and there was no way to click pick up truck. I then had to call U-Haul and go through a process with them and thankfully another truck was available. Initial reservation was to return to Accessories Unlimited but once again something on your end was not done correctly so I was told the truck had to be brought back to the pickup location instead. With having the confirmation email initially and phone calls Monday morning the truck was dropped off at the original Accessories unlimited where the gentleman there was able to do everything that needed to be done to return the truck. He was extremely helpful and managed my issue.Heather W.
