This particular truck broke down on us on a very busy interstate!Summer G.
Scheduled an early pickup. Truck I was assigned was blocked in. Took 45 minutes to get another truck, that had not been cleaned out or filled up. Manager tried to charge me for equipment left in by previous renter and for the gas to fill the previous renter's tank. Wouldn't trust this location again.Dave B.

I was overcharged by $20 as to what I was originally told. We used the van for a quick 1 hour pick up, I told them it would be 10 miles and it was exactly 10 miles, I was told to put in more gas than was actually in it when I picked it up, and I did. We had to wait 3+ hours for rep to return from errand to get car transport attached to truck. Person at gas station initially said about an hour. Then 30 more minutes. Then rep showed up an hour and a half later. Luckily we were not intending to get on road right away.Mary C.

Every time I have used U-Haul and rented a dolly, they have either not had one for me or had the wrong one. I rented the more expensive appliance dolly and only got the basic utility dolly. I made it work but at the very least I would appreciate a heads up that the other wasn't available and my charge to reflect itNaomi D.

This location (Northport) was excellent and customer customer service was as well ...it was the previous location that sent me here that was horrible...(Minx Motel - Tuscaloosa) where I initially booked that was the most appalling place I have ever been to for a business transactionâ€¦apparently the only business being done at this location is DRUGS! My wife took pictures because it was so scary â€¦U-Haul should be ashamed for giving these people a franchise of your company! Please call me at 937-671-7843 to discuss â€¦My little rental might not seem like much but the overall impact might be worse ...I hope this feedback doesn't fall on deaf earsShawn L.

First things first, day before my reservation I am notified I will have to pick up at a further location from the place I am moving. Then not only that, when we get there the place doesn't have the truck ready and they don't have any appliance dollies for us to use, even though we had rented one. So we had to make a trip BACK to the original location of reservation just to try to get a dolly that they didn't have either.. All of this was stated when I contested the â€œextra mileageâ€ charge, that was put on because of uhaul's mistake. Yet I never got a response, or even a refund for the dolly. Also, the ride of the F650 uhual we rented was TERRIBLE, the steering wheel was sideways and pulling and every little bump we hit made us come up out of our seat. Our belongings were scattered everywhere in the back, with some things broken. I've never ridden in a uhaul with such a terrible ride quality.Matthew F.

Be aware of extra charges! The staff was rude and abrasive over the phone, but appeared more pleasant in person. That could be because he knew he was going to add extra charges without discussing it with me first. Parking was limited. I didn't go into the location as I was met in the parking lot.Kristen B.

I really appreciated the friendlieness and professionalism of Kelly. She signed me up quickly. She even backed the truck out of a tight place since a Pepsi truck had partially blocked access to the truck. She explained everything to me. Give that lady a raise!Alan H.

Yes the equipment was clean but the check engine light was on and also sounding like it was falling apart driving it. This location the ladies at the store were rude and when i told them what i wanted the didnt right down the info i gave them. I was very disappointedMONICA B.

I completed my reservation online. Checked in online for a 3 pm pick up. There was nobody there when I got there. Nobody came to work this day. Gas station people called another location. The man that runs the other store was going to come meet me but I ended up hooking it up myself. Also, how is someone supposed to hook up lights on the trailer when the plug is located 2 feet back on the hitch?Luann R.

From the beginning and all the way through, Kelly was outstanding in providing excellent communication and customer service. She made the effort to let me know that truck was available at an earlier time than I had requested. She also provided good advice on price comparisons for local versus one way drop off rental. The vehicle leaked a bit of oil and the check engine light came on at the end. It wasn't the best running U-Haul we've ordered, but it worked. It was clean, but I wouldn't say well maintained. Nothing wrong with the venue though.Chelsea L.
