Clean up and fix the uhaul key dropoff

I wasn't made aware of the safe move charge of $15 I was told the location was opened until 6pm and had a 5:30 pick up time. I get to the location and know one is there. I call the number I found online and spoke with someone and I was told they close at 5pm. The person on the phone very friendly switched my pick up to a online pick up. Very late getting to where I was going

When you stay your pick up is at 12 pm at specific location, u-haul should make sure that location is open!

It was an extremely dingy place. The guy was smoking inside (it looked like it was based out of an automotive garage) and did not wear a mask. We had to step over items on the ground. It was a disgusting location. Will never rent from there again. We definitely did not want to leave our vehicle there overnight.

The truck was an hour late arriving. There was no one there at the time of my scheduled pick up. I had to clean and sanitize the truck in my own. The computer didn't work, so it had to be done manually so I never got a contract or the location where I would be dropping off the truck.

Zero Covid-19 precautions where taken. Counter had not been cleaned in months. Layers of dust covered the counter and computers. Previous customers used the card reader and was not cleaned after use. When I asked if the truck had been cleaned, I was told "no it has not been. I thought I had some lysol wipes somewhere but cant find them. Wear gloves cause I do not know who was using it last". I completed the walk around on the unit and found two scratches on the side. Showed the u-haul employee and was told yup thats fine. Did not note them anywhere. Zero concerns for safety of their customers especially during Covid.

I used their mobile app to rent truck (Cargo Van) and was awful experience spend over an hour on their parking lot to fill the rest of the information was required and their system wouldn't even accept it Finally I got hold of a customer service representative and she got it done and The truck was dirty and the low pressure tire light was on as well.

Post hours of operation sign. Treat customer with the respect they deserve. Attempt to get the customer on their was as soon as possible and not make them wait for you to do "other" things within your operation. Provide some sort of proper signage that will easily depict where the building is. I was at the location at 8:45am. No one was there and did not show up until 9:15. When they did get there they opted to do other things rather than get me on my way. This is a very Mickey Mouse operation for a company like UHaul.

Where do I start? First off they put the wrong mileage on the equipment contract and were off by more than 80 Miles! Good thing I had taken a photo prior to driving off. They put the wrong information about where the gas gauge was, they then charged a $65 fuel up charge when both my pictures of before and after are the same. I was scheduled to pickup the truck at 9AM and nobody showed up to the location for over 20 mins. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION

Horrible experience with U-haul. I had booked the truck well in advance at a location which is a two minute driving distance from my place. I found out on the day of our moving that my pick up has been changed to a location that is 40minutes from our place!! I had booked the truck for 7.30am and that was also ‘automatically' changed to 10.30am! All goes well with U-Haul when you book and upload your credit card details; you get a nice confirmation, but then the true picture is revealed on the moving day! The customer service lines take approx. 30mins to answer, only to tell you that you would need to speak to RM (who I have no idea where to find!)! Horrible experience!

Rob was very nice and helpful. The vehicle worked great, except I noticed a lot of tail pipe emissions! Maybe U-Haul should be first to offer electric vehicles for these purposes.

The Trailer drop-off Location address - Mayhem Trailers, 12249 Hwy 50, Bolton, ON L7E1M1....is completely away and far like 5Km away from the actual site of the Mayhem Company. It took me time, and I was going back and forth to get the actual drop-off location as I used GPS. It was a BAD experience, just imagined going back and forth with Trailer on my car looking for Mayhem. U-Haul should liaise with the owner of this Mayhem Location to update the ACTUAL address, then use GPS to confirm.

The truck was parked in the back and was snowed/iced in. I had to get towed out. No U-Haul staff was on site to prepare the truck. Very disappointed with the rental.

My experience with this company was absolutely horrible. The person at the pick up location informed me that he told uhaul that the truck would not be available for my scheduled pick up time but they didn't change it. I booked the truck over 2 weeks in advance and actually received a confirmation email the evening before my moving date. Then all of a sudden, I receive 2 more emails changing the time and location. I had to soend nearly 3 hours on the phone trying to find out where and when I would receive the truck. Would never rent or recommend uhaul again. Worst moving experience of my life!!!

Appointment was for 9 am. The uHaul employee showed up at 9:25 and opened the shop. The shop was extremely filthy, and the truck had a cracked windshield.

Stop lying to your customers and treat them with respect. My credit card was charged twice and it has been reported to the Scotiabank credit card head office. Bad service, very bad!!! I mean the Uhual customer Service line 416-790-6916 Thor's girls need to be disciplined and please train them to treat your customers with respect and compassion.

When I finally secured a location, it was... decent. I received 3 confirmation emails to pick up the 15ft truck. The first two were sent but then followed up by a call saying the truck and dolly's were not available but they had reserved a 10ft truck. The reason I booked a 15ft was because our things wouldn't fit in a 10ft. Third confirmation email actually worked, however, instead of picking up the truck 1 or 15 minutes away, i ended up having to go 40 minutes away. Also, I requested two dolly's and the pick up location didnt even have one. They said I could go pick one up from the original location I had originally requested...

The pick up location could not email me my contract and their printer would not print because it was old broken and dirty. A new printer would be a great idea, and a little training for the employees so the know how to work the system properly

Let's put it this way,It took me three and a half hours to complete the booking process,no one seemed to know their job until I called Pheonix and only then was I able to reserve my rental.needless to say,ideas extremely pissed off .Three hours of my life wasted.

Have someone at the location during your regularly scheduled hours of operation. Instead, you're banking on customers using an application based pick-up system that is absolutely brutal and flawed in every way imaginable. Although I was warned that no one would be at this location in the morning of my pick-up, the fact remains that it took me 45 mintues to finally get the keys for my rental and get on my way. The app didn't work, your systems ar ancient and slow, and I spent about 30 minutes on hold before I could even talk to a live agent.

It was actually a very easy procedure. The only thing I would have done differently is log on with my phone ahead of time to make sure I was all set. I forgot my password so that took a little time to sort out.
