Rent with U-Haul quite a bit.. try to use the APP... BUT NEVER DOES THAT information transfer to the pick up location. I still have to provide ALL THE INFORMATION. Why waste time with the app. Doesn't save me anytime. SOOO annoyingChristopher G.

After being highly disappointed and frustrated with my original pickup location I was referred to Otts Auto Doctor. Soon as my reservation was transferred Mr. Red at Otts called to make sure I knew where he was located. Mr. Red was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to everyone who is in need of a Uhaul rental.Charlene T.

Truck was filthy. Hard to go through the prompts for the first time. Lucky to have someone show up to the site to instruct. The first location was moved after I got there with no notice. Since I was on a schedule with the movers this experience was not good.Kenneth K L.
the only thing that was bad was the smell of the van- it was clean of trash but it was sticky and had the worst smell I have ever smelled in a car. No idea what the smell is. Every thing else was really easy & did everything electronically, it worked great. The location was great, the tank was full, everything was seamless & that is very rare in renting a vehicle, ive moved too many times to count & this rental was by far the easiest.deborah M.

The gentleman was not there and we had to call U-Haul. By chance he drove up after waiting a half an hour. The grass was very long at the pickup spot obscuring the fact that the 2 tires on one side were gouged to the point where you could see the fabric of the tire. We had packed it at night and I left before dawn the next day. On my 2nd gas stop a man pointed it out. I did not know I had a number I could call to fix the tires as was not given that information and do then drove on sides roads the rest of the way to northern Michigan as I was afraid to go on the expressway. I was very nervous and it was a scary experience. It also took much longer to get back to Michigan due to that.Julia D.

The problem i had was when i dropped off the 5x9 open trailer i dropped it off clean...but i was charged 15.00 dollars which really offends me.. I swept that trailer out my self. I used the trailer to bring my motorcycle home from redhill power sports in fla. I drpped the trailer off in valdosta ga.. Neghborhood uhaul rental . I left the sticker info on the door of the business. This is the second time i rented uhaul in 25 years..Jimmy T.

I did a self drop off but the location was not easily accessible and quite honestly not very wel kept. The grass was high, fire ants were everywhere and the building overall was not pleasing to the eyes.danielle H.

The truck was completely empty of gas. When I finally coasted into a gas station I opened up the back and saw that there was a couch and loveseat left behind from someone else. I called the guy who rented me the truck and he informed me that there was nowhere he could put it. So I had to figure out what to do with them taking time away from my move and causing delays. Not satisfied at all with Uhaul.Austin H.
The little covered trailer I rented was very very beat up and old! It leaked in the roof and got my belongings wet. It was evident on the roof they tried to repair but it still leaked! I didn't notice repair or damaged roof until after the damage was done.Bernadette M.

I was told to go pick up my car hauler at Nina. The Tennessee Street location did not tell me the Nina location was not yet open. I left Tenessee Street location for Nina and had to call the owner of the Nina location to come and meet me. The agent at Nina was great, the location is not great.David T.
Uhaul reservations changed my requested pick up time of 8 am to 11:15 the day before my scheduled pick up. I had paid for moving help through uhaul for 11:30 and the pick up location was 25 minutes away. Fortunately we arrived early-they were able to arrange for the pick up at 11 and we were able to meet the movers on time. Bottom line-your reservation time is never guaranteed.Julie C.
I love this location. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and we got our paperwork competed, the trailer hooked up and ready to go in less than 10 minutes. Perfect experience.CHARLES B.
My dissatisfaction is not with this particular pick up location, it is with uhaul in general and Tennessee st store. I called the location closest to me and they didn't have what I needed so they told me the Tennessee st store did and booked my reservation there. We were running late so I called the Tennessee st store and told them my name and what I needed to pick up and that I would be 15 minutes late. We showed up to pick it up and they didn't have what we had reserved and informed us we needed to go to another location which was way on the other side of town. Very frustrated that I spoke with 2 different people, one of whom worked at the store we were picking up from, and no one told us we had to go elsewhere. I don't understand how when I talked to the girl at the Tennessee st store she wasn't able to tell me right then and there that we had to go somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculous. Because of the extra time spent driving around to get what we actually needed, it took us an extra hour to get done what we needed. Very unpleased and quite angry at the whole situation.ashley M.

Please clean the vehicle interior. Trash from last driver still in vehicle along with a very heavy cigarette smoke smell. Not even fazed by febreeze, cigarette odor was so horrible.David B.

The manager of uhaul at this location was not at the pick up location even though I had made a reservation. He came half an hour later to give me the keys, which delayed my whole move-out process by half an hour. The van worked fine but there was a weird smell inside it. I will certainly not recommend this location to anyone.Priyashree R.

When I picked up the truck, I was charged a different amount than I was quoted. I was quoted $205.60 plus tax. When I picked up the truck the contract was for $268.40. When I asked why, the guy at the desk couldn't explain. He said he was the road mechanic and was sitting in for the lady who normally did the job. Looking at the contract, I was charged $42.00 for a "Safe Move" coverage that I was never told about until I picked up the truck. If that was a mandatory fee, I should have been told. If not I should have had the option to decline. Very poor communications. Also, When I picked up the truck, it was filthy on the outside and had to wash the windshield just to be able to see through it. There was also a scrape along the back right side of the truck which I was going to point out to the man but he had already gone back into his room. When I returned the truck to Tampa, they asked about the scrape. I told them it was already there when I picked up the truck. After getting a somewhat skeptical look from the individual, I questioned the issue of the quote and what I had to pay. They said they had no control of that issue. I was extremely disappointed in the entire experience and I would probably recommend that anyone needing a rental truck or trailer go to Penske, Hertz, or any other competitor.Raymond A.

I reserved a 4 wheel dolly and furniture pads. I was told that I would have to go to another location to pick up dolly. I went to another uhaul location to pick up dolly. We went to load furniture at our storage facililty. Upon opening back of truck, I saw 2 other dollies, but no furniture pads. I called the uhaul office on Nina Road and I was told I could go to the closest uhaul location to pick up the furniture pads.

The turn in was originally set to be at 2201Tennesee Ave, Tallahassee. When I pulled in after I had gassed up the mgr told me that he was not accepting one rental turnins because he was saving his open spots for local rentals so his lot was â€˜technically' full. As this was not my problem as the customer, I found this to be very inconvenient and not in keeping with customer service I have come to know and expect from Uhaul Dealers and centers â€¦ especially with at least 3 employees just sitting on their butt â€“ when, IF they had an inventory problem they could have/should have been managing their inventory themselves, transferring equipment and inventory to another site and not rely on the customer to solve their issue. They redirected me and 3 other renters to go west on Tennessee (a left turn across a divided highway to the Nina Road site â€“ (this is problematic with inexperienced drivers driving large trucks and trailers in congested city traffic â€¦). If I was closer on my mile usage I would have strongly objected to the additional miles driving to another arbitrary Uhaul cite. Infact I almost refused to drive to this other site and have him deal with this Uhaul property parked in his Uhaul center incoming lane â€“ and just hand him the key and leave. And based on the ease of check in we experienced at Nina road I believe I could have and he'd have to just deal with itâ€¦ period. This goes in the face of the Uhaul focus on being very accommodating on one-way rentals as they take (or used to) precedence over local rentals. That said the mgr at the Nina Road center was VERY accommodating and bent over backwards to streamline our check out â€¦ citing that he would never redirect any truck/trailerâ€¦ and he would take care of his customers and find the space on his time â€¦ not ask his customers to find space on theirs.Karl V.

The poor dealer was having a terrible time with the U-Haul software, She tried several time to put my information in the computer, The same information I entered online. It just wouldnt take it. She had to call an area manager to over ride the computer. I don't believe they got it to work but they let me take the trailer after almost a half hour. I would talk to the IT dept if it were up to me a less understanding customer wouldnt be so tolerant.Brad K.

To tell the customer what they need to before they come back to the location. The person had a nasty location and office. I had called to do the location three times and they never took of the remaining balance I own. I had the right amount of gas and ever took a picture of the gas and was changed for it. I do understand the milage fee and I did go over that but the gas fee and other fees I didn't understand. If you ask me the person seem money hungry and wanted more money for whatever they could get. I would not recommend anyone to that location unless that was the last location there was in Tallahasseedasmine H.
