uhaul computer system was not working so pick up took a lot of time. I got charged for a lot of gas that was not in the vehicle at the time of my pick up. Very dissatisfied. Very expensive. Bait and switch by promising low rates for rental.

The representative charged me for 8 gallons of gas and fuel charge, despite me filling the tank back to where it was before I got it. Very dishonest. I absolutely will not recommend this location.

Even knowing I only drove the van just 10 miles, they charged me for a full tank of gas. SCAM! The empolyee also made me go out to the vechicle and write both the mileage and gas level on a piece of paper. IT WAS 1/4 TANK. My paperwork claims it was full tank and then somehow empty after me driving it just 10 miles. Never handed me any paperwork. SUPER SHADY. Was supposed to be charged just 19.99 for rental and then another 8.90 for the miles but was charged $121.00. CONTRACT NUMBER 23883336. I would love a reimbursement. I am going to contact my bank and dispute the charge in the meantime. ABSOLUTELY SHADY PRACTICE and believe this was a deliberate act to scam me.

Your online check in needs improvement. I was asked several times to upload images of my driver license. Each upload was successful but I was continuously asked to do it again. The “pick up vehicle” section of the of the online check-in was terrible, I received meaningless error messages. Thank goodness Latecia was in the office to help me. She was amazing. You definitely need to give her a raise, she is an outstanding employee!! Kudos to Latecia!!

The location was great, but your app wasn't. I had the rental scheduled to start at 6:30. I had the app properly downloaded and arrived at the location on time. Then when I began the checkout process, your app told me I needed to come back during business hours. Why would it let me make a reservation for the morning and give me instructions for early pickup if the app wasn't going to let me actually do it? ... I had planned my day around starting early, when all I was able to get done in the morning was wait for the office to open.

Vehicle was not ready for self pick up had to return over an hour later when the store was open. Once retrieved the moving equipment (dollies and blankets) were not with the vehicle so we had to return a second time to get everything we had reserved. This put us 2 hours behind schedule and we were not able to extend our time as the truck was already reserved directly after us. The staff at this location however were fantastic and were very helpful in resolving what they could. However I will never be scheduling self pick up again and will discourage others from as well as it significantly messed up the timing of our day and was extremely inconvenient.

Please let the customer know that the location they want to pick up their rental from doesn't allow 24/7 pick-up, especially after they book that form of rental. I was very upset to be less than a mile away from the rental place, only to get a call that they wouldn't be open for another hour and a half. I even used the app to confirm everything but even then I was unable to know any information from U-Haul until I arrived. When I was eventually able to get my rental, I was more upset by the fact that despite the fact that I rented a dolly, it was not in the truck. Overall, I would not recommend U-Haul at all. Rent from any other rental service. The only positive was the actual rental location (it's just an affiliate and not an actual U-Haul building) the manager/supervisor was very nice, efficient and helpful.

Maybe don't charge someone for equipment that was never provided, especially after they were told numerous times that they would not be charged for the equipment! Very frustrating that I have not even heard back from anyone yet regarding my refund

Rented a dolly and it wasn't there. A DOLLY. Do you know how hard it is to move in a timed window WITHOUT a dolly. I was sweating like a pig running back and forth. Unacceptable.

Pickup site did not have the equipment we paid for. There were only two packing blankets when we paid for 5, there was also no dolly, we were able to borrow one from the storage facility but if they hadn't had one we would have Been sol and would have had to go to another location. The 24/7 app wasn't giving me the information to get the keys which lead to an hour of frustration trying to get someone to help. The cab of the truck smelt strongly of cigarettes and the center console and floor were sticky and grimy, so overall I didn't even want to drive off the lot with this truck but had another choice since I was an hour behind and needed to go. I have been coming to uhaul for years, and yet my experience today was one I hope to never have again.

The office location is odd, it feels as if you are entering a sketchy warehouse. Needs a much more inviting and friendly feel. Also, when picking up, you must deal with a person through a small window in a dark room. Not a good feeling at all.

I made my reservation at Portland wine Storage and spent an hour waiting because UHaul's interface would not accept payment and your home office was NO HELP AT ALL. He couldn't rent me the truck I'd reserved so my reservation got transferred to the above location. UHAUL COST MY BUSINESS $200 IN LOST TIME BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM.
