Trailer could have used a power wash before sending it out. The ratchet's were pretty caked with mud. But other than that, staff was friendly and accommodating

Not sure why but when we dropped it off they wanted to charge and extra $70, the drop off person who looked in the truck and said it was an error but the ladies inside refused to credit it. I also had to do 2 double runs from Edmonton to Calgary because the trailer rental you said was available was not so I had to spend double the amount on gas, not impressed. Please contact me I would like to resolve this.

The van I rented had a constant msg about the traction control system and the ABS light was on. Also the vehicle said an oil change was due soon. Otherwise, the vehicle was clean, roadworthy and good on gas.

I was charged a extra $20 abouve the rental fee to get help hooking the trailer to my truck. Not to mention the trailer and all components were frozen solid as the trailer wash washed and not dried properly it was ridiculous from the get go.

My only comment is that the pickup location was more than 40 miles from my preferred pick-up location. I had to drive almost 2 hours round-trip to get the trailer. I had booked this rental a week in-advance and was told there were no other options. for a big company to put their convenience ahead of the customers and require their customers to drive that distance is disappointing. Overall experience was good but the pickup location and inconvenience it created for me was unacceptable

the unit was in need of tires very bad the day I used it there was frizzing rain and van could not even drive on flat roads it did not rain that hard as my truck was good. if D O T would of pull me over would of towed the van that's how bad the tires are on there. and yes I did not look at them when picked up as there was no walk around when I rented it. as a rental service company your truck or cube vans should be in safe driving conditions. the move took longer then it should off do to this.

Fuel was under half a tank and contract said it was 6/8 full. Truck bed had mud. Cab was clean and truck was in good condition otherwise. I brought it back with more fuel and cleaner then I got it.

I got a worst service in my life in Spruce Grove U-haul! Receptionist was extremely rude! She ignored me and my requests. When I came to return a car on any my word she shouted and abused me in her home language until her co-worker came in. She said that it is Canada, it is freedom and she can do and speak all she want! I am absolutely sure that real service must be good service and this person is absolutely NOT RIGHT FOR SERVICE !!!!

Was not the trailer I had originally booked. I originally ordered a 6x12 and was told I had to drive 2 hours to go pick it up. The closest trailer they had to me was a 5x8 and I could not fit all the items I needed and was left shipping them home.

At the time of my booking I requested to pick up in Leduc where I live and Uhaul told me I would have to pick up in Calmar. Then the day before I moved they said I could no longer pick up in Calmar I could pick up in Leduc but only after 12 noon. That didn't work for me because I needed to be moved out by 2 pm. So I had to go all the way to spruce grove in order to be able to pick up a truck for the morning. Truck was not clean. There was drywall and grass bits in the back. The cab had dirty finger nail clippings and other debris. I was doing a 24/7 mobile pickup but that location won't turn on their computer system until they arrive at work so I was not able to pick up my rental at my desired time like Uhaul claims with their 24/7 mobile pickup. My rental was also boxed in by other trucks so I had to wait for them to rearrange a bunch of trucks before I could get mine. Delaying the process further. In my order I had requested a dozen furniture blankets and they where not ready to go with my order.

The passenger door bangs constantly unless you slam it shut HARD and lock the door. The truck was also incredibly dirty. Our mattresses that had bags covering it got very dirty despite the bags.

I asked to pick up in Calmar but was told Spruce Grove was the only available place I could pick up a trailer. On leaving Calmar I noticed the same size trailer sitting in the u haul parking lot. I had to travel a extra 1.5 hours to Spruce Grove and back to Calmar and then head north again to my destination. I requested a trailer at least 2 weeks in advance.

They confirmed verbally that my rental was due back on August 15, and the rate was confirmed verbally for August 15, but when I returned the truck on August 15, the new location had no information that I was returning it on August 15, and charged me additionally.

This was the worst experience I had with renting any equipment.The office was rude hung up the phone on me several times when I called to confirm pick up.If it wasn’t for Jonathan at the edmonton location 218 St my move would not have been successful.There is definitely no customer service at the Spruce Grove location during my experience.

Overall I was not satisfied on the service I received throughout the entire process. The dispatch office called to inform me the trailer I had reserved needed to be picked up over 2hours away. Then I was charged an extra day because the second trailer reserved had to be picked up one day earlier than what wS reserved. Then when returning the trailer in Spruce Grove the location was closed and I tried over an hour to do the self checkout on yhe internet. It would not accept any of the numbers provided in the emails. The phone number for returns would only recite this site for comments and was no help at all. I did finally get in touch with a real person who was very nice and left notes all over your system that I had returned the trailer on time. Overall there were only limited positive experiences. Mainly totally unsatisfactory

Honestly it was overall a horrible experience doing the 24/7 pickup. I made the reservation on the phone a week prior and set up 24/7. I then called the morning before and confirmed my reservation and asked again if we were all setup and had verbal confirmation that everything was ready to go. When we showed up that evening it took almost two hours to get a truck. After spending a very long time on the phone it was determined that the truck hadn’t actually been setup for mobile pickup. It was initially suggested to me that I would need to “just come tomorrow when the store opens”. I was in an extreme time crunch though and needed to load the uhual that night as I was leaving first thing in the morning. The only saving grace to our experience was the lady on the phone helping us-she was excellent. However due to this being a very stressful situation when you’re already stressed about moving, I will not be recommending the 24/7 pickup to anyone.

I dropped off via on line with photo uploads and such. It was excellent. However I would recommend that the email that has the link for the drop off be more clearly stated. I had to dig into emails to figure out where and how to connect online. And the address for my drop off was not clearly indicated until I was actually submitting the form.

The agent was extremely rude and made it very hard to deal with. The agent consistently hung up the phone when we called for directions. We were not rude, but frustrated with the attitude we were receiving. I had to stop at a gas station to get directions to this location. I have never had to experience anything like this from uhaul before. Customers are extremely important and should be a priority. There was no need for this to happen. On top of it all, once we got to the location; we wanted to speak to the manager at the Progress Glass but found out it was the actual person who we had been speaking with. The spouse raised their voice and said we can go somewhere else to get a Uhaul and it was customers like us that causes them to act rudely???? My indication at this moment was "this happens to other people, I'm not the first". One more point, another customer came in to return a truck and as the agent was speaking she was mocking us and told that individual "that's what I heard from another customer, oh my god. Your never suppose to say that" How dare she even bring up religion in a conversation! In my belief oh my god is short for oh my goodness. I have my own belief so at this moment she placed her beliefs above upon us and was being judgmental. Overall the equipment was good, but the location and the service was horrible. I have been renting from uhaul; on and off since 2001 and never in my lifetime have I experienced a negative experience before.

Between the call center and the 3 different locations we had to deal with, we were triple charged and made to change our plans repeatedly. Terrible experience, and when told I would be given a refund for my trouble, you withdrew the refund amount rather than depositing it, so now I'm out that cash too. Will probably never use uhaul again.

My prescription glasses were left in the vehicle. When I phoned the Spruce Grove drop off location, the woman on the phone did not offer any help. She told me the truck has been rented out and offered no other help. When I phoned the 1-800 number, I held 37 minutes before getting through to customer service. I explained why I was calling and was put on hold again. After ten minutes, the call dropped. No one phoned me back. I had to call in again and hold another 50 minutes to get through to customer service again. It would have been much easier for customer service to call me back when the call dropped, as I don’t have a hold time! At this point my glasses in their hard shell purple case are still missing. I was told it will take 72 hours for anyone to get back to me but a service ticket has been started.

Lady at rental was good when getting the truck. We returned the truck the night before the end of our agreed rental. Due to processing error I has charged an extra day of truck rental and equipment even though everything was returned far in advanced of the contract time. I called the centre where I rented in Srpruce Grove to explain the billing error. The lady did not seem to listen and understand what the problem was and referred me to call the “Manager”. This number for the “manager” always goes to voicemail with no identifiable name to whom I am calling. I have made multiple calls for the “manager” to get back to me and there has, 2 weeks later, still been no response. I should not be overcharged for a clerical error at the rental and simply would like to be charged fairly for the use of this truck.

Worst service I have ever had! They were not helpful in the least. Tried to pay my over kilometers and they would not let me do it over the phone... they told me to call the 1800 customer service line. I was hung up on twice tried to call the collections line and they hung up on me and were closed during their business hours... luckily the uhaul on the west end of Edmonton was willing to work to help me. I will never rent another uhaul out of the spruce grove location as well as I will be telling everyone my experiences with uhaul and how unhelpful this company is! Worst experience I have ever had!

I was emailed a confirmation stating my uhaul would be ready at 6. The place closed at %. the next day when I got there, the staff was rude and dismissive. i won't be dealing with this office again

I booked online for a mobile pickup using the 24/7 feature, so that we could pickup the truck early in the morning and get working. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, but when I got to the location to pick it up, there was no equipment for me. I called the number that was provided, but he was not able to get a hold of the owners of Progress Glass. After showing up 10 minutes late for work (we had been waiting over an hour now with a restless toddler), they informed me they don't have equipment for me, tries to pass the blame off to Uhaul and their system. In the end I was given a smaller truck than I reserved, with no ramp, and was an hour and half behind on our schedule. If I were to get a Uhaul again, I would not use this as a location. I would rather drive into the west end of Edmonton and pickup there, even with the increased cost for Kms.

I went online to rice a rental the lady was extremely rude on the phone, when we went to the store to pick up the trailer (34.99) per day she was again rude with my wife while i was hooking up the trailer. When our credit card got charged we paid $100.00 for the trailer which I returned cleaner than when i picked it up.I would like to take this up the chain to senior management as I do not think this person should be representing U-Haul any in capacity. Is it U hauls policy to charge customers 3 X's the rate listed on your website. Never again and I will show to receipt and posted fake rates on as any social media sites as I can. This is ridiculous.

Not impressed that truck was booked for 7:00 AM. Even got a confirmation email that it was available at that time from that location however location did not open until 8:30 so no one answered phone and I lost almost two hours of moving time. Not impressed. Also told me truck had to be returned to that location but was not the contract I made when booking so returned it to the agreed upon place that I booked.

Next time don't change the location from Edmonton to Spruce Grove, then when I call to switch don't say that I can, and then not change, and when I call back you still stuck me in Spruce Grove. Unacceptable.

My only comment is that I rented 2 one-way trucks. Now I understood when I had to pay extra charges for the one as I took 2 trips with it. However the other was a small additional mileage charge of under $7 that in my opinion should have been waived I took it exactly where I said I was going to and somehow additional mileage was incurred? That is actually in my opinion an error on the companies part not mine.
