Staff was very unfriendly and acted annoyed. He only mumbled when he spoke. He shouldn't be working in public and needs to learn some manners. Vehicle has check engine light and was leaking fluid.NIZAM M.

The truck that i got had mechanical issues and it was raining on the day of moving. So the water entered inside truck from the roof. I was charged more than $100. I still do not have any reciept of the amount charged. This time my experience was very poor.IMNINDER S.

The whole process was redundant. Uhaul has this fantastic system online to submit documents and answer questions; however, the store did everything a second time. It made no sense. Upon drop off I did the checkout online and then walked in to drop the key off. the lady then asked me what the mileage and fuel was and for a picture. I stated I just submitted all of that information online. She then proceeded to walk me outside and turn the truck on and take a picture for herself. It made zero sense and her communication was very poor. I don't recommend these third party Uhaul centres. Go to a dedicated Uhaul location only.JOHNPATRICK S.

I reserved four weeks ago in the city of Toronto because you charge by mileage. I booked elevator, moving crew, reserved parking. Two day before pickup you changed to a different location 30km outside of Toronto to the afternoon. I changed it back online just to find out it was changed again the following day. I called multiple times, was promised a 50$ credit but needed to pickup up one hour later and still outside of Toronto. The truck there had an empty battery and I was sent to Brampton; 55km to Toronto. The truck then did not have the booked dolley equipment. The location was not able to add the 50$ credit. And then I needed to see that for 5l of not enough gas the charge is 40$! I would expect that at least the 50$ will be applied plus the reduction of distance driven to the original booked locationALEXANDERHELMUT S.

Reservation was for 8:30 pick up. Location was not open. I called Uhaul customer service and they said it doesnt open until 9am, i was prepared to wait , given 4 people took the day off to assist with the move. At 10am, NO one showed up and mobile check in was NOT an option at this location, finally , at 10:12, they showed up. They were NOT apologetic and simply said they had an appointment. I also wanted to add a secondary driver, and she refused. Upon returning the vehicle today, the counter person said they cant do it and the individual who is responsible is away for several hours and they would mail me the contracted, WITHOUT my signature. Absolutely unacceptable ! The worst service ever. The vehicle was disgustingly filthy in side and out. Certainly NOT COVID complaint, let alone under any circumstances acceptable. Disgusting. I will be searching and posting this on social media as much as possible, so that NO OTHER individual needs to deal with waiting almost 2 hours got pick up their reservation ..for a disgusting dirty vehicle or attempt to return it , again, without the individual present. If I could rate this service level below ZERO , i most certainly would.Katherine G.

This was one of the worst experience for me to book U-Haul services. I booked the Uhaul truck with Melissa mentioning that I need the truck with the ramp and Dolly [bigger - furniture] and she just finalized everything and said when you go pick up the truck you ask them for the dolly, it doesn't need to be booked. Went there on the pickup location, the owner said we don't know anything about the dolly, you just pick the truck and go, they were kind of rude too. Spent approx 45 minutes on call with another lady to see where another truck or dolly is as the 10 feet doesn't come with ramp. While she was checking she said she only found one that requires the drop off within 2 hours. Now, this was not an option for me, so I asked the lady that i will pick the same truck which was booked as i was already late. now, what can go wrong, right? Guess what? Went inside the convenience shop to pick up the same truck that was booked under my name and scheduled for pick up got cancelled. The lady on the phone cancelled my pickup scheduled at 50 Lacoste Blvd and moved to some other place for some reason. Now, I have to again call in and stay on the call and book the truck again. I was scheduled for picking up my appliances at 1 pm but because of all the trouble I departed from there around 2-2:30 pm EST. I have to manually pick the appliances with bare hands and load them into the truck which doesn't have the ramp. Now, as the dolly was not provided I still have the appliances in my garage whereas it should be in the basement and i couldn't move them because i didn't had dolly with me. This was really disappointing. Also, you might want to get the truck checked as the truck was having issues on picking up the gears.Varinder K.

Do not use this location, took over 45 minutes to get vehicle and upon return another 45 minutes to turn it back in. Employees have no idea at to how to log into the system. Am still attempting to get an overcharge back from them, in the meantime they still show the vehicle as not being returned in the system and have sent me 11 emails with the same copy of the overcharged receipt.Michael V.
