When making a reservation, KEEP the pick up location as the one used by the customer when making the reservation. My pick up location was changed 4 times the day of the pick upmichael N.

When I arrived I was told that the "guy" who does U-Haul was not there and it would be over an hour before he would be in (they called he and it took 50 minutes.). The guy, after making me wait used the check in time to train the person that was in the store. The store is a convenience store and she had to service customers while I was waiting. After that the guy spent ten minutes trying to connect the trailer after which he told me that my hitch was to low. He was lowering the connector on top of the ball instead of around it. He then hooked up the wires and tow chains, took a pictures and sent me off. Never tested the lights. When I got to the location to pick up my towed vehicle we inspected the hitch and noticed the rubber safety connectors where not installed on the chains correctly and that the guy did not connect the brake chain to my vehicle and all. I'm not sure but I don't think "the guy" knew what he was doing either.Charles S.

The girl I returned to didn't know how to do anything. The store smells like a urine covered bathroom. There was a car full of kids smoking weed in the parking lot. The driver went in and out several times, he seemed to know the clerk well. Anyways, Drivers side taillight didn't work. Tires low on air. And I was charged twice. Had to drive back to the store 2 days after the fact to get credited the second charge. Will never go back. Probably going to just buy a car dolly so I don't have to deal with stuff like this again.Adam S.

Dont price them based on your company's "Supply and Demand" policy. To take a 5x9 open, utility trailer from St Peters, MO to Monroe, NC was $374, to take one from Monroe, NC to St Peters, MO was only $112.Kevin Q.

It was good I definitely will rent from U-Haul again and I recommend referring out to other people in the near futureMarsha M.
The only recommendations I would have are To be closer with the customer while entering information into the computer . Saying my addresses and telephone numbers 10 ft away from the counter with other customers checking out seemed unsafe to us. And let customers know where to look for the unit number on the vehicles. I had to drive an extra hour to even find a location that had anything other than a 26 foot truck. Rate was much more expensive than on the uhaul website. I was told I would get $20 back if I returned it early, which I did but no refund.wayne H.

The rental facility was a convenience store and at the time I picked up the trailer, both attendants were more interested in the cash register customers then doing the paperwork for my rental. I felt it took much longer than it should have to complete my rental. One final FYI, the agent set my drop off location different than I requested which I didn't know. I was told I could drop off rental wherever I chose.Sam B.

Not sure if location or just a Uhaul issue - the reservation was changed from original requested pickup to another and this place didn't have the reserved dolly. We were offered the appliance dolly as a substitute, but could not use it. We didn't have time to take it back so wound up paying for it. The truck had not been fully checked in and there seemed to be some confusion. Owner/manager was pleasant and tried to be helpful.Janice P.
My husband and I feel like they tried to cheat us. We only had the standard size truck for 3 hrs to move junk out of our garage. We went from the truck pick up site to our home, loaded the stuff, went to the trash drop off then back to the store where we picked up. We could not have gone more than 25 miles. When we dropped it off the rep said based on mileage we went 50 miles. My husband even filled it with a little more gas and he kept saying it was at half a tank and we know we did not use that much. And they were gonna charge us an additional 35.00. After we argued him down he finally just agreed to charge us the price they quoted. We will not use this location again.Sanpri P.
Rented car hauler from this location before and the cost was $79.00 and the last time they wanted $108.00. I feel the location for uhaul is out to get every penny he can and not help the customer out. Every one I know that wants to rent a uhaul, I will tell them to go to another location.jerry B.

My wife picked up the car hauler but they wanted to charge her $15 to hitch the trailer to the car. As a result of her refusing to pay the money, when my wife arrived home, the hauler was not connected properly because she didn't know how to do it.Gary R.

I've never been to UHaul location that did not offer to help attach trailer to my car. No one even checked to see if it was securely attached before I left which resulted in the trailer coming unhooked while I was driving. I was going slow enough that there was no damage but I thought it was odd that no checked the trailer first.Alexandra M.

The sales clerk that waited on me when picking up the truck was unfamiliar with the process. I even had a prior reservation made 2 weeks prior. She made mistakes during the check-in, including booking my contract as an "In-Town" (vs. the One-Way that I reserved). As a result, they wasted over an hour trying to correct their error with a District U-Haul rep, my rental fee was incorrect, etc. On a positive note, the store manager was at least friendly and took his time in the inspection of the vehicle for prior damage, etc.Ritchie S.

The owner of the place was knowledgeable and he did a great job booking the u-Haul a week before. On the day of pick-up the person there didn't know how to work the computer and it took us 45mins to process getting the truck. She ended up calling the owner from her cellphone who processed it from over the phone. Once I got the truck it was in poor condition. There was damage all around. When starting the truck it seemed that the battery was weak and it took a little it to fire up. Also I couldn't open the driver's door with the key. And it also took me a while to open up the passager door.Dustin C.

The truck was subpar at best. Rattled, dent in the side, couldn't shut passenger side door from inside. No power in the drive, thought the transmission was going to die on us and only hauling a mattress, box spring and fridgedennis R.
