The owners of this place are super nice and so great to work with. We ended up needing our truck for a few more days than initially planned and they gave us no problems about it. Just said "ok we will mark it down" . If you want a place to rent a moving truck that is hassle free this is the place. They also have a great variety of items in their store too.RICHARD C.

Lady in Smoke Shop was real nice and helpful when picking up the truck. The U-Haul app did not work on my Android. It could not recognize location so when returning the truck I had to wait until the shop opened. The guy was very helpful and checked me out without being late. Nice customer service.Jennie T.

My feedback is about the experience is about the 3 days before that led me to have to rent from this location. REVIEW ðŸ‘€ U-Haul I made a reservation over 3 wks ago for a truck in Sacramento. My husband booked a flight from Az to Sacramento for Dec 3, to move my daughter and her stuff on the date I reserved Dec 4th. He was called Dec 2nd and told there was not truck available for the date he reserved. This was crazy as I made the reservation 3 wks prior. Why was I able to make a reservation that could not be fulfilled? They said they would call me later and should be able to have one if I moved it to Sat the 5th . On the 4th they called and told me there should be one on Sat in Grass Valley which is 45 mins from where I rented it from. So that is 1.5 hours of my time, not mention more gas in my car to get there and more gas I have to pay for the moving truck to get back to my house to pack my daughters items. Plus the time wasted driving to pick up truck. Then I still need to drive back to Az (12 hours) get her stuff unloaded and my husband still be able to get back to work on Monday, because remember we are now a day behind as they didnt have the truck the first day. So I call the 1800 number as I am being told at 4pm the day before, there is still no truck in grass valley. I spend over 1.5 hours on hold to explain to a rep and then have her contact traffic then come back and tell me they found a truck in Quincy! and my reservation is now there. Quincy is 3 hours from my house. That would be 6 hours of driving before I even load 1 item, pack my stuff or start to drive back to Az. Who pays for that time and gas? Unacceptable. So I tell her no that is not ok. she says she will transfer me to traffic and to talk to them. She dropped me right back in the regular que where I have now been on hold for almost 2 hours, as she failed to tell me that traffic was closed. I tried while on hold to do a chat from the website and was told by a rep that came up as Amy that she could not help me and she disconnected the chat. I reserved a truck at 1 location over 3 wks ago and then was called 2 days before and told no truck, then I moved it to a different day and different location at their request and then told again sorry no truck. Then after 2 hours on hold told to drive 6 hours to go get a truck. Very unprofessional and their reps are very rude and have no customer service skillsNicole F.

The original location (87th and Bell) canceled my order after I spoke to someone and had them move it up. I order to get it at 6am on Friday and than moved it up to 6pm Thursday ( I showed up at 7:05) and it was closed. I was picking up using the Mobil app and apparently they didn't keep it Mobile app when I was picking up the at 6pm the day earlier( change it to in store pick up without me requesting that). Kind of a big mistake for someone moving and on a deadline. The customer service person I called found a solution for me (she was very nice ) and sent me to the other location on lake Pleasant parkway. The people there were great and couldn't ask for better service. They really saved the day for me!JEFFREY M.

I believe a 25.00 cleaning fee if you don't sweep out the back is a bit much. I never had such a fee possibility mentioned to me before. Also I would prefer to get the truck with a full tank instead of a 7/8 full tank as it is hard to judge it at the gas station as I'm told it needs to comeback with that same fuel level.DENNIS S.

The trailer was not a flatbed that appeared to be what I was getting online, the trailer was to small in width to haul my equipment, I promptly returned 'early' in morning next day, NEVER USED IT, called the smoke world number mid day to make sure they knew i returned it and the situation, they went on to say they would call back after talking to someone who could waive the fees, only to find they billed me for the rental. Horrilbe customer service and greed for rental. I will never use UHAUL again, and especially this location.John Z.

I do not want to go Inside a pot shop to Do the contract or For any other reason. The lady we dealt with was friendly and Administratively competent. I want to go to a specialized truck rental site were the vehicles are Professionally inspected and maintained. This is the second 26 footer I have rented in the last 45 days for a move to Montana. One was so coated with bugs It affected the headlights and and Windshield vision. I will not trust my life or my family members to a truck out of a pot shop That only gets checked, cleaned and serviced ever 45 days. I have no faith in the condition of your truckS. for a extended trip I will not rent from you again or recommend your trucks to others. Also with the corona flu I expect the truck to be properly sanitized and not by a 7/11 clerk Doing a flash wipe down.Robert O.
The online checkout was incredibly frustrating. I clicked on the link in my email from UHaul and tried to log-in. I could not get logged in. We tried on my partners phone using Chrome and GoDuckGo. Neither would connect. Then we tried on Firefox and were able to get into the online check-in process. Two phones, 3 browsers. That is TERRIBLE!!! Took me 40 minutes to get checked-in. Worst experience ever getting into an online system using my phone. I can't even imagine someone with less technology understanding and only having Chrome on their phone.Nancy J.

When the movers couldn't take everything that was needed to move, we rented a 15' truck that came with a dollie a.s.a.p. and they came through for us. We had everything we needed and the 6 hours necessary to load, get where we needed to go and unload. Perfect!Leah R.

The location we rented from completely robbed us. I feel we were taken advantage of. They overcharged us 3 times and when I called to speak to someone they women was extremely rude to me and would not let me speak to the owner.
