Make sure to inspect the gas tank before handing the key to the customer. I experienced an Isolated incendent today which the gas tank has a hole causing a huge gas leak when I filled up the gas tank at the gas station. The U-Haul representative is very nice. He gave me a nice compensation caused by such incedent.JAIRUS M.
Location didn't have the equipment I had reserved. Was missing furniture dolly, less moving pads than I had requested. Truck was dirty, felt poorly maintained and only had 1/4 tank of gas.charmagne R.

It was Sunday, office was closed. There was no key drop off box or any place to leave your key! Had to call customer service, it took 30-40 to get a representative on the phone!! The whole mobile check out process took 1hr! So annoying!! Inconvenience!! Never again!PHONG QUOC N.
both pick up and drop off locations were easy, staff very helpful and prompt. My issue was after I reserved the vehicle, I wanted to make a change to the reservation (reduce it by one day and/or make it a one way rental). I spent over 2 hours being transferred from person to person, only to be told there were no one way rentals. I gave up.MARY M.
It took 10-15 minutes for a u haul rep to call and confirm the 2nd identification. So I had to wait 10-15 minutes to get the key code after I checked in. Maybe change the process so that the 2nd identification can be done a day prior.Phillip T.

I've rented two U-Haul's over the past two weeks and both with both rentals the extras I asked for were not in the truck when I picked it up. Called the 800 number this morning and was on hold for 57 minutes and never reached anyone, so I hung up. Horrible customer service via the 800 number.William K.

How can you improve your service will 1st of all don't let someone run a truck that sparingly running and leave it dirty and have problems because the 247 service that I was supposed to pick my truck up with wasn't even activated like the store had told me and it wasn't the store that I picked the truck up it was horrible service the gas was guz zling we had to pay so much and felt like the truck was going to break down and before we even had it the power staring was horrible we could barely turn a truck that's a 26' truck come on now the truck needs to be taking off of your guys's market have it redone do something have a supervisor or a corporate office contact me That's how upset I am it was unacceptable for you guys to even let a family drive that vehicle we could have been killedCHARLENE B.

I would like a better Check out and in process. I'm not very tech savvy on the phone. If it wasn't for my daughter's help, I would have been at lost. The print was too small for me to read. It would have been nice to have the inside vacuumed and wiped down. But overall the truck got what we needed done. Thank you.TERESA L.

The stores computer was down so the clerk said we had to check in online. Finally got the truck after 45 minutes with no one writing down mileage or gas level. When dropping of same poor service with computer still down and then being double charged. Clerk told me he could not help and to call 1-800-gouhaul. Took 57 minutes on the phone to get a refund. Very poor experience today..Debra T.
No they don't tell you about the added $25 cleaning fee, and for what? It was just as clean as when I picked it up. They tell you to use the app to check it in and put the key in the flatbed. But they don't tell you to make sure you use the app first before you lock everything up so that needed pictures to use the app and check in the vehicle properly can be done. So then you have to choose not clean because that is the only option to move forward without pictures and get charged $25 Ridiculous. I will be using another location.Robert D.

I downloaded the UHaul app to my phone and tried to associate my order with my account on the app. It didn't work so I tried doing the check-in confirmation online. I got all the way to the end where I was confirming everything and saw it had Baltimore MD as the pickup point. I was supposed to pick up in Sacramento CA so I canceled and called the help number instead. After 40 minutes I reached a live person and did my confirmation with her. When I got to the pick up point, they didn't have any record of my rental. We looked up the order number and found that Uhaul had switched the pickup to another location. I did not receive any emails or text notifications about the change of pick up location. After going to the new pick up location everything went pretty smoothly. You guys need to work on this stuff.Michael M.
