Charged extra $65 for gas. I only used 13.8 miles and I filled up gas before returning it. When I called they said I took it 1/4 tank and returned it 1/8 tank. I told them that I took it at 1/8 and return it 1/8. They said this is not their fault as I should have told them before I left. The problem no one mentioned about the 1/4 tank and I received no contract from them although they said they will email it to me so I'm not sure how I'm going to read their mind. After long argument, they said they will look into my request and get the owner to re-imburse me the money, but sounded like a maybe. I called head office to complain and waiting for an update. Horrible service, unprofessional team running this place and I will never use this fraud location.

I got charged an extra day but returned the truck the same day, and i got charged for extra mileage, but only used 40 of the 48 allowed with the price. And i got other charges i don't understand. Contacted uhaul and filed a complaint but still nothing back from them. Super annoyed

You should make it more apparent that the pass code only appears 30 Mins before your reservation. I kept thinking there was a glitch I. The app. Also, please warn us about the passport photo and thr contact numbers require right before receiving the vehicle. If you did, it was not made apparent to me. Thank you

While the link to return the truck seemed like it was going to be an easy experience I found a few issues. Firstly, it was saying it couldn't access my location even though my location was turned on and I was granting access. Secondly, it wasn't properly uploading photos, which would stall me as I was unable to move forward with the check-out process. I ended up having to call customer service, it took approx. 30 minutes to return the truck and was very frustrating. I'd also like to note that I am 25, so it's not like I was struggling with the technology, but I know this would not have been okay if someone like my parents were trying to check-out. Otherwise, the truck, location, and employees were great!

I made the rent with Furniture Pads and Utility Dolly and was not in the truck I gave a call at the same time for the U-haul, not can be done, had to go without the equipaments. Since my rental was for 9 am and the office just open 10 am I had to do my moving without the pads and Dolly what was very hard. I just received a receipt that have this items I hope gets removed before charge me. The Truck was not very clean and was parking in a spot very near to other trucks almost impossible to remove from the place. Had to have help from other people to be able to leave the place.

- clean the vehicles. There were cigarette ashes, food crumbs all over the seats and cup holders. - large gouge on the side wall of the tire - reading on our receipt showed an incorrect amount of gas to get corrected - also, this pick up location was provided to us only after going to another assigned location that was closed. Even after I had called to confirm. Terrible experience! Our move started 1.5 hours late as a result of that incompetence.

One of the item was missing and I had make arrangements for the same at last minute. It happened to me 10 days before as well at a different location. U-Haul or the agency needs to update the customer that they don't have the equipment that is confirmed in the order.

It would be helpful to know where the return key box is and for the return process to be explained at pickup. It took me almost an 30 minutes to figure it out because the store closed early that day so there was no one to ask when I returned the vehicle and the return key box is not obvious. Additional lighting in the parking lot would make the area feel safer for after hour returns.

Everything was well and in order for our move, we were very happy with the service. However, just one suggestion for the key drop off, the code we were given didn't seem to work and we noticed that the previous people also just left the key on the tiny hole. Thanks for the overall experience!

The office was closed at 1030 when I had a pick up scheduled for 10 as the young gentleman perhaps forgot to set his alarm or was to busy to come to the office on time. I waited along with all the other unhappy customers. There is not near enough space here to vent my frustration at this poorly run enterprise. I'll never deal with these guys again.

The worst customer service and experience I've had in years. When you call, nobody cares, gives you wrong information and keep transferring you around. My reservation was for 8am in downtown, and they sent me to scarborough for 10am without notice. I had to drive extra 30 km and had to pay for it, even though I booked it a month in advance. I spent 2 and a half hours on the phone talking to different people for nothing. When I got there at 9:50am, the shop should open at 10 am, but the person responsible for the place only got there at almost 11am. I lost the elevator that I booked, and had to wait after everyone was done, to start mine. I returned the truck at 11:10 am the next day, and believe it or not, this company is charging me FOR 2 DAYS. I'll never recommend this company to anyone, and will never rent anything from here. They also provided me a broken dolly with a flat tire, and I'm also paying for 2 days for it. Perfect combo.

Location did not open until almost 11am. Van was covered inside and out with mud and leaves. Rental was supposed to be $19.95 not $89.00 + $15 CDW + mileage so we were overcharged. No furniture pads available. Had to slide clean furniture across the mud and leaves. Online check in and check out did not work properly.

Location is a tiny office with a large shared parking lot. There is a tiny U-Haul sign outside, but no instructions on where to drop after hours. Doesn't seem like there is any security - nothing to stop people from taking the trailer i just dropped off.

I requested and paid for furniture pads. The pads were not provided. Although I was refunded the cost of the missing furniture pads, some of my furniture was scratched in the process of moving.

The U-Haul app is faulty, it is buggy and it didn't allow me to go to the next step after I took a photo, I recommend to use the website instead.

This service is great and very convenient, thank you very much! The app didn't work, we tried from 2 phones (OnePlus 5 and Samsung Galaxy s9). After taking pictures it didn't do anything. It did work through the website.

Wrong key was placed in the lockbox. Did not answer phone when calling. However, after leaving a message I did receive call back, and the code for the other key lockbox was shared. Delayed total move by about 45 minutes. Very friendly and apologetic though.

The text from when I logged on with U-Haul.com gave me a wrong 4 digit code for the truck lock. Many of us read the code which consisted of 4 letters and we all tried the lock. It was only when I called back the person that confirmed our late arrival (the office was closed) that I was told that we were given the wrong code. The correct one that the gentleman gave me was still 4 letters, but nothing even similar to what we had in our hand in the phone. The gentleman told us we were reading the wrong code BUT just how many 4 letter codes is in one pick up email that says ‘enter this code'. This added more that half an hour to our day. A day that was running already late because of highway traffic. I have rented about 5 trucks within this last year and always dealt with a customer agent at a desk. If this is the way of the future for U-Haul, then my business will be tapering off. I have never dealt with this location before and do not place the fault with the location, but rather the head office App. The truck was clean, relatively new and there when we got there. That is all I can ask if a good location. However I can't give a perfect rating because of your App!

Original pick up location resigned/went out of business on the day of pickup. Fortunately U Haul management when contacted of situation found an available truck at 1450 Oconner. Delay picking up the vehicle caused lost 2 hours x 6 people's time as well put the move into rush hour causing an even further waste of time for all moving staff.

Upon arrival, the mobile checkin system glitched out and stated no equipment had been assigned to my reservation. Another gentleman arrived at the same time, and was having an identical problem. No one was in the office at the location. Calls to both the phone number listed on the front door of the office and to the phone of the person who confirmed the reservation went unanswered, and both went to voicemails that were full. UHaul customer was not only extremely slow, but were unable to provide any kind of substantial assistance. I was advised to repeatedly sign in and out again of both the webpage and app, which nothing to solve the problems with the online checkin. Eventually Uhaul custormer service was able to connect with management and retrieve the combination for the lock I needed. Despite being able to offer only limited assistance, Uhaul customer service was polite throughout the process. The initial instructions provided by the location were incorrect - they had advised the code they provided would be for a lockbox. The code was actually for a combination lock on the truck itself. At no point did the location call to follow up or to apologize for the inconvenience, which is very rude and unprofessional. Because the mobile checkin failed and I was not able to speak to an employee at any point, I wasn't advised or walked through on basic aspects of the rental process. This includes the need to refill the gas tank, which I am now being charged for. No Uhaul agent confirmed my driver's license, which seems like a very poor control on their part. The rental agreement was not sent to my email until 20 minutes after I actually was able to get the truck, so I had no time to review it. Not only did this experience sour me on ever using Uhaul again, I would actively discourage anyone I know from using the process.

I would recommend this location to a friend specifically because Mohammed (the manager I assume) has excellent customer service skills. He went above and beyond to ensure that I knew how to acquire my truck before opening hours. He was consistently in contact and did everything he said he would at the expected times. I can't say that I have had a better experience at Uhaul and I have rented many trucks over the last year.
