LEWIS EI scheduled my rental for 1:30pm for 8 hours. I was not able to access the truck keys until 2:30pm because the office had a door sign that was closed for lunch since I arrive at 1:15pm until it opened at 2:30pm. I was not the only customer who was waiting for a scheduled pick up and was frustrated. We waited outside the locked office u til someone went into the office at about 2:20pm and looked at us and ignored us outside even as we knocked on the door for assistance. Once it hit 2:30pm sharp she (Laura I believe was her name) opened the door and gave us the rudest look and let us in. She gave me the keys and I left. This will not be a location I will be returning to. Due to this time problem due to the office being closed I had missed a freight delivery that needed to be picked up at the school district office. I was still charged for the full 8 hours. After two attempts of contacting customer service I had no help. This is unacceptable and this type of business just sucked. I’m very disappointed.

TINA MThe pickup location was the highlight of the rental experience. On the day of my rental, I arrived 20 min early (as recommended in the off-hours pick up video) checked in via the app and obtained my combination to unlock the truck (combo lock on the back of the truck to access the key). After several frustrating attempts to open the lock, I had to finally reach out to UHaul Customer service who gave me (2) other combinations that DID NOT WORK, only to be told I would need to wait for the rental location to open to resolve the problem (100% UNACCEPTABLE). I was told there would be a $50.00 credit applied to my rental for the inconvenience (DO NOT HAPPEN). Returned the rental 5 hours early, only to find the app would allow me to do an automated return (when I clicked the return truck app button it took me to a list of instructions that (paraphrased) Fill the truck with gas, lock and secure, and drop key in lockbox (which I did). After I left, the app refreshed and said to upload a picture of the mileage and continue to check out (hard to do when the keys are in the lockbox). I contacted app chat customer service to let them know (record of return). The UHAUL APP is TOTAL TRASH. The overall Rental experience was not much better. I selected this location because it is close to my house, I am so sorry I did not rent from Enterprise. Penske, or even HomeDepot instead.

SHARLA DLocation of pick up was excellent. Reservation and phone call to uHaul for assistance was poor. My reservation was ready, but online pickup was not working and kept getting error that my equipment was not added to my order, they Uhaul tried to tell me my reserved truck was not available and tried to send me across town. fortunately the staff at Towne Storage Cactus was still waiting for me to pick up and my truck was still then and gave me excellent customer service. when I asked for a promoted $50 credit from Uhaul because their service was poor, they would not honor my credit.

ALAN PThe location was fine. The experience was horrible! We had to have customer service help for 30’minutes. The furniture dolly we requested wasn’t in the truck . We were given a tiny hand truck instead making it almost impossible to move our items. None of the steps were emailed over so we had no idea that we needed to wake up someone at 7am for a phone call. The “$19.95” all day truck was “$75 not including gas.
