The vehicle drove very well, the only problem was a strange order coming out of the AC vent perhaps you need a new filter. Thanks

Richard WI felt that the cost of renting a 6'X12' enclosed trailer was very expensive. The man and business I arranged the rental with in Crystal River, FL charged $838.46 for 5 days rental. That also included a $40 fee for insurance which I agreed to. I told him I would need the trailer for more than 5 days, possibly a week, and he just said I'd have to deal with any additional costs at the place of return. When I returned the trailer on Friday, March 28, 2025 I was charged an additional $89.04, which I have no problem with as that cost was reasonable. My concern was the initial charge of $838.46. Otherwise, all when well with the use of the trailer.

DENNIS DThey didn't have any of the extra equipment I ordered, the size I asked for was for a reason. The location and direction I had to travel was a challenge to navigate and would have been easier with the smaller truck I reserved and didn't get! But in the end to offer furniture dollies or any dolly for that matter and not have one to offer and a bigger truck to make things even harder to go somewhere else to find this while charging by the mile, really put me off!

Roger AFirst and foremost, only one person at this location can handle U-Haul trucks, but they don't let you know that until you talk to someone else and she interjects and scolds you like a child because "I am the only one that does U-Haul!". Very arrogant power play and it didn't start things off well. The vehicles are in a far field that I had to walk back and forth several times because I mistakenly tried to do the "check in through the app" option. (Do not do that. U-Haul does not have that figured out yet. It would have been much faster just checking in at the counter - even with the angry old lady that is the "only one that does U-Haul".) Add to this that I got in an accident. It was pretty bad and I was shaken up. I returned to this location and again was scolded when I accidentally spoke with a woman that was not the aforementioned "U-Haul commander". Then the U-Haul woman started yelling at me - in front of another customer - about how she had that truck reserved for rental the next morning, and what was she supposed to do now? Why did I get in an accident? Did I have any idea how this was going to impact her? It was so obnoxious and unbelievable that I just walked out while she was still yelling at me and the other lady was trying to calm her down. And then they reported to U-Haul that I returned the vehicle to a different location and charged me an "incorrect return location fee" of $242. They just pulled it from my credit card and I am currently going through a dispute resolution process to get that money returned. Absolutely incredible. I couldn't have ever expected it would be this bad. Oh yeah, the vehicle was filthy as well. It had rags, used tissues, flyers, an empty bottle of perfume (that smelled very bad), and other assorted trash in it. And that was just in the front. Uh, no. I do not recommend this location.

CLAUDE MCustomer Service was tasteless, I called after a UHAUL return with questions and Pam got defensive and unresponsive when I asked her last name. I was charged for gas $30. when i returned it it was closer to a quarter tank opposed to a eighth. The second rental I bought it at a half tank oppose to a quarter and wasnt refunded. Was told to call UHAUL It had a slow leak in the left front tire, every morning I had to put air in the tire. Although a tire could become flat at any given time, we drove 1.7miles to our place. We need to continue renting trucks and this one is closest to our home but I believe a little training in customer service would improve their business and i would recommend them but at this time i cant without seeing improvement.

JOHN GHurricane Debby had came through and the roads were flooding and the police were out telling people to turn around and leave immediately. I was a nervous wreck and accidentally locked the keys in the truck. I explained the situation to the woman at True Value, where I dropped the UHaul rental off and they told me they were going to charge me for the locksmith to retrieve the key. I can't believe they charged me for that knowing the situation I was in with a police officer telling me to leave immediately. I am sick with the way I have been treated.

Diane TYard person who helped with inspection and hooking up trailer, seemed to be not really engaging in doing his job more interest in getting back inside and doing nothing. Also no secondary safety pin for locking on to ball hitch, when I ask the yard guy (same guy he stated they couldn’t figured what would work) I stopped at hardware store down the street and bought a 3.5 inch long bolt with lock nut that worked fine.
John GMaybe have one of the computers already on the Uhaul program if there are rentals for that day to avoid any delays due to system loading.
Ryan FThe women working the register was extremely rude and took on another customer while I was waiting to pay for the U-Haul and it took me over 20 minutes just to pay for the U-Haul and get out the door because of the lady. And there was a line of four people behind us while the gentleman next to her was working most of the customers. She has glasses and is extremely rude, and talks to you like your stupid or something and clearly has no customer service experienced or is just generally A-Hole for no reason. I won't EVER rent another U-Haul from that establishment no matter how badly I need a U-Haul.

CHRISTINE GThis was an Abbot and Costello experience. I had reserved a truck to be picked up at 1:30pm at Hernando Storage on June 1. U-Haul moved it to 2:30pm and then to 3:00pm. I was under a time constraint for the items I needed to move. When I arrived shortly after 3:00pm, the office was closed and I was sent an email to open the lock box. The box was not opening. When I called, the people on the phone were kind and tried to be helpful. I was given another code which didn't work. I was told that the locks were old and it was known that they are not easy to open. I called again, and was told that the person who would've been able to come to help couldn't because they were recovering from COVID. After many more attempts and prayers, I was able to open the box, only to find that the box was EMPTY. Apparently, the truck was returned after the office closed and the key was put in the drop box and didn't make it to the pick up box. I called again, and the kind people on the phone were not able to reach anyone to get the code to unlock the drop box. So, I was directed to the Gulf to Lake Hwy location. The time was set for self-pick up, but there was an accident that shut down Gulf to Lake and when I got to the True Value location, I was told my time had been changed to Sunday morning. This was crazy. I called again and someone kind was able to make some changes and was given the code was able to pick up the truck. I was not able to move the items until the next day and this complicated life for many people. I don't think I should've been charged at all for the circus events that took place. I was responsible to other people, and couldn't cancel the reservation. I have never had a problem in the past and had been pleased with U-Haul. I understand the customer who had the truck before me was later than planned, but U-Haul should've been able to have someone who could help in person. I hope that the locks at the Hernando location will be replaced. I could not respond earlier, because this delay caused a difficult chain of events that I am just now catching up on. You should have a record of the many times I tried on June 1 to get the help I needed. Again - the people on the phone were kind and helped the best they could. Thank you!
Patti AExcellent yard worker disconnected us quickly as we pulled up without going to the counter. Counter workers were quick and efficient and knowledgeable in uhaul process. The local agents cannot speak for uhaul and were also unable to help me with the overcharge.

ARDEN TIt was a nice "location", other than its actual location. I was originally informed that the trailer I needed was located in Fanning Springs, FL, which is the closest U-Haul location to my home in Chiefland, FL. Then less than 24 hours to my scheduled pickup time, I was informed that the U-Haul location nearest to my home in Chiefland, FL, did not have the trailer that I wanted!! Hence, I had to drive over 45 miles to obtain the trailer I wanted, and because I wasn't permitted to drop the trailer off at the location nearest to my home, I had to drive that 45 miles back to the original location, then turn around and drive yet another 45 miles back to home. Terrible policy!! I should have been permitted to drop it off at the nearest U-Haul location.
