Equipment was clean but one the metal in the front of the trailer was pretty rusty and it was hard to tighten down the hitch over the trailer ball, and the trailer was loud, even after tightening it down myself after a mile or so after picking it up.

I was not happy that my pickup location changed with out any obvious notice? It made me 40 minutes late to my destination. I mentioned it to the lady who helped me and she said it is something that does occur often and you need to be aware and always call ahead to make sure you're picking up at the right location. There needs to be a better system to alert the customer of such change.

Once again we were bounced to two locations before being allowed to drop the trailer here after hours. After a long day moving, and having been bounced around at pick up, this was a terrible end to a long hard day. Not the fault of the location, but today's overall uhaul experience makes me never want to use uhaul again

I was charged an extra $38.18 for extra mileage when the truck was turned in but was not given any credit for the extra gas in the tank. There was 1/4 tank when I picked it up and 1/2 tank when I dropped it off.

The truck exhaust kept expelling fumes. The truck wasn't as smooth riding as some I've rented. The saleswoman was pleasant and helpful. The drop-off location was hard to find because it was off a side road which was difficult to see at midnight. The drop-off location isn't a common site for U-Haul trucks because there were so many other vehicles. The address of the drop-off site was hard to find on the property so we weren't sure it was the right place. The placement of the return keys weren't distinguishable so we felt uncomfortable leaving the keys. No signs, no information whatsoever to know we were at the right place, nor instructions. Also, no lighting in area. Just a horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend.

The staff at this location went above and beyond to help me. The 6x12 trailer I rented was not returned on time by the previous renter. The staff made extra phone calls and did everything they could to help me for two days. While my plans were ruined and my weekend was significantly impacted by the trailer being returned late, the person working there could not have done more to help me. I really appreciated her efforts. What could have been a 0 star experience (due to previous renter), turned into as much a positive as it could have been. Please commend this location for their efforts which made a bad situation better. Thank you -Ray Duncan

The trailer lock and hitch needs to be oiled, very rusty. Because of the rust, it was hard to open the door. The hitch kept making a lot of noise, because of the rust.

I needed a pickup or small box van for a couple of hours today. I called ahead to see what was available found that a small box van was available. My trip to the Uhaul facility was about 20 min. By the time I got there, the vehicle was ready and a contract was waiting for my signature. Really pleased with the speed and efficiency of getting the vehicle. Much better than some of the other UHaul facilities that I had used earlier. Good experience for me and would gladly use them again. Check in after use was equally speedy and saved me a lot of time today.

How about some AIR CONDITIONING for starters!!!! An 8 hour drive from Reno Nv to Las Vegas Nv with warm air blowing on you with sporadic burst of “cool” air makes for a VERY unpleasant drive!! Then I get to my drop off location to find that they have no storage units available after I was promised on the phone weeks ago that it wouldn't be a problem!!! The girls at the Stephanie Place location were very helpful but there wasn't much that they could do!! They found me a storage unit 20 miles away in a questionable part of town that I actually drive to but changed my mind about!!! Finally found storage at a StorageOne closer to home!!! I will NEVER use Uhaul ever again!!!!!

The location claimed to be open on Saturday when I returned the truck, and it was not open. No answer at the phone number provided, or at the phone number on the building. The place was a complete dump, poorly maintained, junk everywhere. Not a location that I'd want representing my business.

I got way over charged for mileage and when I tried to contact customer service I was on hold for 32 min before I just hung up. We had an in town move with one load and somehow I got billed for 80 miles. I'll never use uhaul again

Dillion was exceptional! I needed a truck to pick up a pool from Walmart. He needed the truck back by 4:30 and trusted that I would be back on time. And I was! He really treated me with such great respect and delivered kind and courteous customer service! Kudos to you young man. Job well done! And thank you, my 10 year old is loving the pool! We will book you again for future jobs!

My displeasure had very little to do with the location but the u-haul experience was awful. My only real complaint with this location is the hours which are 10-4:30 which means I cannot swing by before or after I go to work. The overall u-haul experience was beyond terrible. I made a reservation with a preferred pick up location got an email confirmation with that location. Email says I will get a phone call the night before pickup, that never happens. I have an 8am scheduled pickup but the vehicle I'm using to pickup went in for an oil change that ended up taking hours, I call customer support as soon as I realize I'm going to be late picking up, they tell me after 8 I'm better off just making a new reservation for the next day. I'm leaving town the next day early in the morning and ask if I can just speak to the local store and let them know I'm coming, just running late. Customer service tells me I cannot contact the store directly contacting scheduling is the only way to accomplish this and transfers me, scheduling received a cold transfer and tried again to schedule me brand new for the next day. After hold times, Repeatedly explaining myself, and just basically getting tossed through the system I'd wasted two precious hours on moving day to accomplish nothing, at roughly 3:30 in the afternoon I finally just gave up and decided to drive to the local pickup location and hope for the best. After waiting over 30 mins in line it was after 4pm and this location moana/s. Virginia says they don't have the dolly and I was moved to a location across town for pickup, I was not notified of this change, no email, no phone call. NOTHING to indicate that I needed to drive to the opposite side of town during rush hour traffic, oh and by the way the other location closes at 4:30. By the time they get all of this figured out at the moana/Virginia shop it's 4:20 in the afternoon and they can't even guarantee me that the 4th street shop has my dolly!! So off I go trying to make it across town before they close, I call the 4th street shop and beg them to stay just 5 mins late and am told no, it's not their fault and it's not fair for uhaul customers to always ask them to stay late, probably cause uhaul is terrible and regularly changes pickup locations on people without notifying them?!? By some miracle of good lights and speed I make it there at 4:30 exactly and luckily was able to get my dolly. But it took another 30+ mins to get through all the paperwork, and I had already entered all my info online to “skip the line”. To put everything in perspective, we also rented a Penske moving truck and flat bed car trailer, we reserved online, got a call back a couple hours after making the reservation confirming everything and asking if we needed to add anyone else to the reservation. On the day we picked that truck up we were also running late, we called the store directly, the phone number for the store actually went to the people in the local store, and in under 5 mins they were able to tell me it wasn't a big deal as long as I arrive that day. Got the the location I had selected in the Penske website my truck was there already hooked up to the trailer, I walked in, signed papers and walked out in under 7 mins, this is the way everyone should do business you could learn a lot from Penske. If any other company in Reno rented car dollies to pull with a personal vehicle, I wouldn't have used uhaul but you have a monopoly there for now. Long story short I will NEVER again use uhaul, this is my second terrible experience. I will tell everyone that listens just how bad this experience was to save them the frustration too. Moving is already hard, uhaul just adds to the stress.

Our pickup reservation said to pick up at a different location. When we got there, we were told to go to this location. When we dropped off, there was confusion between the two locations about which one we were supposed to drop off at. Overall, Uhaul's digital systems seem outdated and easy to mess up.

Person working at storage location stated she did not have moving blankets. I preordered and prepaid for blankets. She told me to go to a different uhaul location to get blankets. I explained to her that I did not have time. Movers were at my house and I had to get back quickly. I was paying them by the hour. I asked if she had prior knowledge of my reservation and the accessories I requested. She said she got it 2 days ago. She didn't look at it and check if all accessories were available. She did not apologize. She was not helpful. She indicated that the truck had 5/8 tank of gas. When I started the truck, the gas indicator stopped at 1/2 tank. After her attitude and lCk of customer service, I did not bring this to her attention. I didn't have time to have another conversation with her. This was a very disappointing experience. My drop-off experience at another storage facility was just as frustrating. I will never use uhaul again.

I was charged $33.25 for fuel. When I picked up the rental truck it only had ¾ of a tank of fuel in it. I returned the rental truck with more than ¾ a tank of fuel in it. Please refund the amount of $33.25 to my card. To improve for the next customer: Rent vehicles with full tank of gas and do not over charge customer. Clean vehicles before renting them. It took about an hour to pick up the truck with the customer contact less service. Streamline the time it takes to pick up a rental.
